Chapter 394
Chapter 394
The two men swaggered into Willow's home and sat down on the sofa.
Billy looked around the room. "This place is pretty nice. Must have cost quite a bit, huh?"
His gaze fell on Willow's face.
With two men against one woman, Billy was confident she couldn't escape, so he didn't bother tying her up.
Willow remained standing at the bedroom door, not daring to approach the two men.
Hearing Billy's words, she vaguely guessed their purpose. Her entire body tensed, and she didn't respond.
Billy didn't care and continued on his own. "Looks like your family really saved up quite a bit of money in Majestic City. How much? Ten million dollars? At the very least, a few million, right?"
Willow understood his intentions, and a trace of self-mockery flashed through her eyes.
If she had that much money, these past years wouldn't have been so difficult.
But Billy knew nothing of what she had been through and assumed her family had been living the good life in Majestic City.
Billy stood up and walked over to her, looking her up and down.
"You have money to rent such a nice place, wear such nice clothes. You stayed at my place for so long—why didn't you think to show some appreciation?" He said unhappily.
Willow calmly took a step back. "You've misunderstood. Our family didn't have it easy in Majestic City either. My parents were ordinary people. They didn't save much money..."
She tried to explain, but Billy wouldn't listen. "No money? You think I can't recognize quality? That dress you're wearing alone must cost tens of thousands of dollars."
Willow was forced to stop talking.
Hearing Billy's words, she instinctively looked down at her dress.
She had been showing slightly recently, and her old clothes made her protruding belly visible. Worried about neighbors gossiping, Willow had changed into the clothes Sterling had bought her.
She hadn't heard of most of these brands and hadn't expected anyone to recognize them.
"You stayed at my place for so long. It's not unreasonable for me to ask for some compensation, is it?" Billy looked at her with ill intent.
Willow's mind raced.
In this situation, if she still claimed to have no money, they definitely wouldn't believe her.
She bit her lip and forced herself to stay calm. "Alright."
Billy's eyes lit up, full of greed.
Willow said, "A hundred thousand dollars. Is that acceptable?"
This was already the maximum she could manage—essentially all her savings.
Unexpectedly, hearing this amount, Billy's face darkened. "A hundred thousand dollars? Are you trying to send off a beggar?"
Willow frowned. "I really don't have much money. You know I came back because I was sick. Even if I had money, it all went to medical treatment..."
"Cut the crap!" Billy impatiently interrupted her. "Either give us money, or..."
He looked at Willow's body with ill intent. "Otherwise, take off those clothes you're wearing. They're worth quite a bit. Then, sleep with us once."
Hearing this, the blue-haired punk excitedly stood up from the sofa, eagerly looking over.
Every nerve in Willow's body was taut. Though terrified inside, she forced herself to stay calm.
She could only rely on herself now. She had to stay calm and think of a way to escape.
"Say something!" Billy urged impatiently. "Lost your tongue? Which one?"
Willow gave up on explaining and asked, "How much do you want?"
Billy sneered. "That's more like it."
He glanced back at the blue-haired punk and stated a number. "One million."
Willow paused. "Alright."
Billy added, "Him and me—one million each."
Willow agreed again. "Alright."
Hearing this, Billy frowned in displeasure. "You agreed so readily? Looks like you've got plenty of money."
He wondered whether to ask for even more.
Willow's voice sounded beside his ear. "However, I need to make a phone call first."
Billy came back to his senses and looked at her suspiciously.
Willow said, "I really don't have much money. The one with money is my boyfriend in Majestic City. I can ask him for it, as long as you don't hurt me."
Billy only hesitated for a few seconds before quickly believing her story.
With Willow being so beautiful, having a wealthy sugar daddy was perfectly normal.
He pulled out his phone and handed it to Willow. "Put it on speaker. Don't try any tricks, or else—"
He patted Willow's face twice with his hand. "Even if he wants to send people over, it takes time. In that time, my friend and I can do whatever we want to you."
Willow suppressed her disgust and dialed Sterling's number.
He answered almost immediately. "Willow, where are you?"
Billy's threatening gaze fell on Willow's face.
Willow adjusted her tone, trying to sound as steady as possible. "I've run into a bit of trouble here. I need two million dollars. Can you lend it to me first?"
There was a moment of silence on the other end.
When he spoke again, Sterling's tone became serious. "What do you need that much money for?"
Willow said, "I... want to buy a house."
For the two of them, this excuse was laughably poor.
But Billy didn't think twice about it, only envying how Willow could get someone to transfer two million dollars for her to buy a car or house with just one word.
"Where's your grandmother?" Sterling asked out of the blue.
Willow said, "She went out. I borrowed a neighbor's phone."
Sterling fell silent for a few more seconds.
Billy suddenly felt uneasy and used his eyes to urge Willow to end the call quickly.
Willow pretended not to see and quietly waited for Sterling's response.
After two minutes, Sterling's voice finally came through, his tone composed. "Alright, I'll transfer the money to you right away."
Without waiting for Willow to speak, Sterling volunteered, "I have something else to handle. I'll hang up now."
The call ended, but Willow's heart gradually settled.
Sterling must have understood and had a solution.
Following Billy's instructions, she sent Sterling a bank account number and asked him to transfer the money to that card. Sterling agreed.
For the next stretch of time, Billy and the blue-haired punk waited nervously and expectantly for the two million dollars to arrive.
Time ticked by second by second.
Just when the two thought they'd been played and were about to make a move on Willow, Billy's phone suddenly received a text notification showing someone had transferred two million dollars to him.
"It's here!" Billy couldn't help but cry out excitedly, not expecting two million dollars to come so easily.
The blue-haired punk's face also flushed red with excitement.
He stood up. "Let's get out of here before the police come."
But Billy's mind turned to other thoughts. "We got two million so easily. Don't you want to ask for more?"
The blue-haired punk hesitated, clearly tempted.
Billy's greedy gaze fell on Willow again. "Willow, your boyfriend is really rich, huh?"
Having just spoken with Sterling on the phone, Willow had now calmed down.
She looked at Billy and asked calmly, "How much more do you want?"
Billy said, "Tell me, if I strip you naked and take a photo, will he become my personal ATM?"
