Chapter 64 Memory Loss

Astral's POV

I watched as Gale panicked while looking at me as he bombarded me with questions immediately after I woke up.

My brain was all fuzzy and I was dizzy with all the questions he had been asking me I wondered if he was human at all for him to be asking me those kinds of questions when I just woke up.

'Can someone please tell the man to keep shut? I am still trying to assess my brain' I thought and I tried to take in my surroundings.

I looked around to see that I was in a hospital room and I wondered how long I had been sleeping because my body felt stiff and it was like I was not the owner of my body.

'I thought I was going to die but thank God that I am still alive' I thought and my gaze went to Gael, who was panicking.

"Astral? Is that you?" I heard Gael ask and I facepalmed myself hearing the absurd question that he just asked and I wondered if he was clueless at the time.

"What are you awake now?" Gael asked, placing his hands on my forehead trying to check my temperature I forgot that I was in pain because his hands were so warm.

"Can you talk? Did you need to drink water?" He asked different questions and I decided to trick him.

'It is not going to be bad to trick my belly husband'

"Who are you, please?" I asked and I saw Gael froze for a while before bed reacted.

I was enjoying the facial expressions of the man and how he looked completely clueless when I mentioned that I did not know him.

I was sure he must be losing his mind so I decided to play around with him more…I want to see how long he can hold on with my act.

"What? You don't know who I am?" He asked again to be sure and I  nodded my head gently my heart skipped a bit hearing his worried voice and I wondered if I was doing too much.

'Let's see his next reaction because this is quite entertaining' my subconscious nudged and I decided to keep playing

"Who are you? And where am I?" I asked and I watched Gael's mouth wide open before he screamed on top of my lungs.

"Doctor!" He yelled and I was shocked by his actions...

I was taken aback when Gael called for the doctors hurriedly and I knew that I must have made him lose his mind seeing how he called for the doctors furiously.

I needed to soothe the situation before the doctor came and told Gael that I was just playing and I didn't lose my memories.

But before I could ask him to stop, three doctors rushed into the hospital room looking at Gael with questions and he asked them to check that there was something wrong with me.

After the doctor examined me and my lie was detected, the doctor exited the room after asking Gael to let me take a lot of rest since I was still recovering.

I made sure to avoid Gael's eyes but I could not be smart since I was in the room alone with him.

"Did you enjoy seeing me lose my mind?" Gael asked through clenched teeth and I held on to the bedspread trying my best not to panic.

'It can't do anything to me since I am still a patient," I assured myself and I faced the man with a smile.

"About, that I do not mean to let you panic but it looks like you could not take a joke," I say and the man glares at me but I am quick to avoid his eyes.

"Even though you are crazy…I am happy..happy that you are here with me and didn't leave me," Gael says and I noticed his voice low and I knew that my prank might have gone extreme.

"About that.." I was about to say but Gael cut me off.

"Did you have anyone you suspected of foul play!" I heard Gael ask me after the director exited the room.

I thought about what Gael said and my mind went back to what happened at the shooting site before the accident occurred.

I could still vividly remember Kimberly's gesture before I started the shoot and the crazy parables that she kept throwing at me…it was just too much to get a coincidence.

'I do not know if my hunch is right but I know that Kimberly is not spared from this incident' I pondered and I hissed in frustration as the thoughts set in.

"What! Are you okay? Is your head acting up?" Gael asked and I shook my head but warmth spread through my body seeing the man being that careful with me.

"Are you always this attentive?" I asked to look at him and he stopped his movement while looking at me.

"What did you mean?" He asked me to take the strands of my hair away from my face and I smiled at him.

"I mean to ask if you are always this attentive to..other women too?" I asked looking away from him and I heard him chuckle hearing my question.

"What? Are you jealous?" He asked me and I rolled my eyes at him.

"Don't be ridiculous...I am not jealous…I am.." I was saying but the man placed his lips on mine, cutting me off and I moaned into the kiss.

"What! Is this like an X-rated scene going on here?" We heard a voice behind us and we both disengaged from each other immediately.

I raised my head to look at the person that just entered the room and I was shocked to find who it was.

"What! You are here?" I say with disbelief looking at the person in front of me.
