Chapter 85: Part-79
A good movie leaves an unfading impact on you for a long time. Make you fantasize things and even you wish at point that why isn't real life is like a movie. Exciting and interesting at every step. Goa trip was like a wonderful movie for Sanyukta which she wish would have never ended. Coming back to Mumbai and indulging herself back to her old routine that was the last thing Sanyukta wanted to do. At least for few more days she wish to had Randhir for herself only. Coming back to Mumbai means sharing him with so many people. Especially with his work. It takes more than half of his day leaving very little for Sanyukta. She knew it sounded selfish but for once she wanted to be selfish, for him, for them. Within those past three days Randhir had opened himself in front of her. He let her see beyond the tough exterior he had always maintained, to let her know his past which was no less than a pain in his chest. A heavy burden he got rid of after sharing with her. It had always been Randhir comforting Sanyukta but somewhat she felt in Goa it was the other way round. She was being his comfort pillow for once. She was discovering his sides which she was unaware of. Her man has been through a lot in past but nobody bothered to sooth him nor did he bother to open up his wound in front of others. The person he was in past, it was not the choice he made, circumstances lead to events which in turn lead to certain situation. She was glad that he found her and was stubborn with her because he was her rescue and she was his. Rescue of their souls which somehow got lost in this sinful world. They were each other end. A beautiful destiny. "Hey.." Vidhushi greeted Sanyukta as she rushed inside the house. "Sorry I'm late got stuck in the traffic." She reasoned herself before taking a seat beside Sanyukta. "It's OK." Sanyukta nodded sincerely giving Vidhushi a genuine smile. It has been two days since Randhir and Sanyukta had return to Mumbai. Randhir asked Sanyukta to call Vidhushi as she has something to talk about. That was not all he said, Randhir before going to office warned Sanyukta not to spill the beans about what they did in Goa. By no means he was letting anybody to have sneak peek of their private moment. That was strictly personal. "So what made you meet your awesome sister-in-law?" Sanyukta chuckled. She called Vidhushi in the morning to talk when Vidhushi asked her to meet because she had to talk about something. Last time when Vidhushi had to talk about something it was not a pleasant one. All Sanyukta could hope that this time it is nothing negative and even though if it is going to be, Sanyukta will use her brain first, talk with Randhir about it. But for sake of everything going good she wish it to be positive. Enough of the dramas they already had in the past. She has no more energy to deal with a new one. "Direct on the point." Vidhushi raised her brow ignoring Sanyukta 'awesome' comment. "But I'll prefer having a glass of water first." She said making herself comfortable. "Sure thing." Sanyukta said getting up to bring Vidhushi a glass of water. Sanyukta heaved a sigh of relief as she reached the kitchen. Till now everything looks normal including Vidhushi behavior. Her gestures were proof that she was here for nothing serious just normal chit-chat may be. "Here you go." Sanyukta offered her a glass of chilled water. "Thank you." Vidhushi thanked taking the glass and gulping the cold fluid down her throat in one go. "That's relief. I never thought Mumbai will get so hot." "Where is Badi Maa?" Vidhushi asked. "Went to attend some charity meeting." "Oh! Nice for her." "Mom knows how to keep herself busy." "And entertained too." Vidhushi winked making Sanyukta confuse. "Don't get confused. Those ladies in the charity council are just pain in the ass. Not all but yes majority of them are but they are damn entertaining. Just go with Badi Maa once and you will know what I mean." "Enough of the chit-chat now." Vidhushi got up from the couch. "Let's hurry up we can continue this in my car or else we will miss the appointment." "What appointment? Whose appointment?" Sanyukta again asked in a confused tone while walking fast to match Vidhushi pace. "Doctor's appointment." Vidhushi said in a 'duh' tone. "But I don't remember having any appointment with a doctor and as much as I know I'm done with my regular check ups too." "Consequences of spending too much time with my brother." Vidhushi rolled her eyes at Sanyukta's comment "Huh!" "You are sounding just like him. Self-centered. Everything is not about you Sanyukta. I have an appointment with a doctor and I want you to accompany me." Vidhushi shook her head and chuckled. "Oh my god Vidhushi I'm so sorry. Are you alright? What happened to you?" Sanyukta threw her series of questions. "You are cute Sanyukta. No wonder Ron loves you dearly." Vidhushi snorted. "And you are too just like your brother. A tease.." Sanyukta huffed crossing her arms across her chest. "Runs in the blood I guess." Vidhushi winked. "Now come on, hop inside the car. We don't want to miss the appointment. Do we?" Vidhushi asked settling on the driver seat. "No." Sanyukta shook her head and buckled up her seat belt. "So you did not told me why are we visiting a doctor?" Sanyukta again asked. "I need to confirm something." Vidhushi whispered diverting her attention back on the road. "Confirming? You means are you..?" "I don't know. May be yes may be no. I have missed my period and since last one week I'm feeling morning sickness too so I thought to get it confirmed once." "Are we going to a gynecologist?" "A family doctor will do for now. Let me get confirmed than I'll visit a recommended gynecologist. Don't want to get all hopes high. All that morning sickness and missing of mensuration cycle it can due to hormonal problem or something too." Sanyukta could hear the sadness in Vidhushi voice as she talked about the other side. Being a mother is one of the most important phase in a woman's life. "Let's just hope for the best." Sanyukta smiled. "Enough about me. You tell me what you did in Goa?" Vidhushi wiggled her brows teasing Sanyukta. "Nothing much. Just normal stuffs." Sanyukta blushed remembering everything they did in Goa. "Normal stuff um.. Tell me about your normal stuff Sanyukta." Vidhushi poked Sanyukta. "Ask Randhir about all that." Sanyukta replied turning her head to other side. "I know he must had only told you to not to tell me anything." Vidhushi frowned. "No Vidhushi it is not like that...it is just that I'm not comfortable." Sanyukta said and part of it was truth to. She was not comfortable talking with other her private moment. Just like her husband she was also a private person. It was not like she was doing what Randhir asked her do. She herself was not going to spill the beans. "Stop defending your husband. I know him well. He don't like talking about his life." Vidhushi said. "But that's OK with us now." Her voice was little softer than before. "Now he has you to talk. He was always a private person. Keeping things to himself including his emotions. But we have seen him opening to you. Thank you for always being with my brother. Even in his hardest times." "I'll be always with him no matter how tough it gets because I love him." Sanyukta answered.
