Chapter 27

Some sounds were coming in my room. Oh shit, that was my mobile. I woke up and took it from the desk beside my bed. It was him; he even made me keep the mobile in ring mode. I don’t keep my mobile in ringing mode, those sounds, disturbs and distracts my sleep. But why is he calling now?

“Good morning beautiful, wakeup” he said with his sweet husky voice.

“Good morning, I have” I said. I am blushing, what the hell, Ell?

“Come out something is waiting for you” he said. What is waiting for me? Is he waiting outside, for me? No he has a meeting; if he can he would have stayed with me.

“Okay” I went out of my room but, no one is there in the hall, the main door is still locked.

“No one is here” the moment I completed my sentence the door bell rang, who is that?

“Is that you?” I asked him

“Yes and No” he replied, what is he saying? I opened the door. A well dressed man with a bag in his hand is standing. He smiled, does he know me? I don’t know him, I have never seen him.

“Ma’am” he gave me the bag in his hand with a bright smile and left

“Wait...From whom?” he disappeared. What the hell is happening? Who the hell is he?

“Elena? Elena?” Oh he is still on line

“Yeah sorry, someone came and gave me...”

“Okay Elena Bye” he said and hung up on me. What the fuck? What do he think of me? Come on Ell he has a meeting, my inner me reminded, fine! I opened the bag that unknown person gave. The bag was filled with three boxes, of food. Who sent these boxes? Wait, there is a note init.

“Dear Mrs. First,

A very good morning, I know you look as beautiful as always, please eat before you go. Miss you

Yours Mr. First”

Holy Hell it is from him, he sent me the breakfast. Is he doing this for the baby? I know he is okay with my pregnancy but, he loves the baby, this is new. ‘Lucky for you, your father loves you so much. Come let’s get ready and have the breakfast your father sent’ I said to my baby.

I got ready and came into the hall. Nat and Nick sat on the chair talking.

“Good morning” I said, they both turned to me and said

“Good morning” at the same time, we laughed. I joined them. I think they didn’t have the breakfast yet. I looked at the bag Mr. First sent, nothing moved; I think they haven’t notices why?

“Had your Breakfast?”

“Waiting for you” Nat said.

“Good, then let’s have it together, actually Jacob sent some breakfast” I said

“Yeah we know, we got a message from him” Nat shrugged. What? He had their numbers? How? When? I smiled. Now I understand, so the three boxes are for three of us. Good thought of him. We completed our breakfast. Oh yeah, I have to ask Nick about dropping. Ell you are becoming lazy.

“Nick can you...”

“Come let’s go” Nick said before my completion. How did he know, Fuck Ell when he can send a message about the breakfast, don’t you think he can say about the dropping. Mr. First! I rolled my eyes. I got my things along with the so called snacks and got into Nicks car. He and Nat were busy in their hugs and kisses. I looked at my mobile for his message but nothing. Ell he is in a meeting, don’t you think you’re being a moron. Nick got into the car; we said our byes to Nat and started.

“Ell?”

“Yes”

“Jacob is a nice guy” he said slowly, I looked at him but his eyes are on the road.

“Hmm”

“I’m very happy for you and glad it is Jacob” he said with his honest tone. What should I say now, he is glad that I got pregnant by Jacob and is happy for me. I really don’t know what to say but, I smiled.

Thankfully we reached the office, no more Mr. First topic. I went to my seat and started my work. In our lunch hour we all had a funny conversation and I asked Mike about his grandparents, he said they are fine. From my arrival to the office till now, all I did is looking into my mobile and checking if he has called or messaged, but no nothing from him. Ell you are expecting more don’t do that, I scolded myself and got back to my work.

It is five in the evening, I almost completed my work and about to turn off my system, my phone started buzzing, at last it is him. I don’t want to take the call, but I did.

“Miss you” he said with intensity, did he, really? I am happy that he misses me.

“Hmm” I didn’t say I too miss you, just turned off my system and started out.

Ah-ha! There he was fully dressed, sliding on the car, waiting for me. I slowly reached him, wait he is happy, why is he, what has happened? I think the meeting went well. He took me into his chest and hugged me tightly.

“I’ve missed you so much Mrs. First” I am Mrs. First again.

“Come let’s go” he curled my waist and took me to the car. I’ve missed him, his touch, his smell, everything, it is just a morning and here I am missing so many things of him. His one hand driving while, the other holding my hand on his lap. I think I can’t take my eyes off him. We already discussed about Mrs. First, he said he’ll not stop calling me Mrs. First. I actually love that name. I still can’t believe that I like this, with him. I never thought I will.

We had a busy schedule in our work but, Mr. First made sure that I had proper meals even in this busy schedule. Mike is always being around me, even if he has no intention of asking me for a date again. I feel guilt; I think I should tell him now that I can’t. I almost completed my work, I think it is the right time; he is talking with our teammates

“Mike” I called, he turned towards me and smiled

“Can I have a talk with you?”

“Of course you can Ell” he came to me

“Mike I am sorry, I don’t think I can come on a date with you” I apologized, his face changed

“So it is true” he said, what is true? I looked at him with confusion.

“What is true?”

“That you have a boyfriend”

“WHAT?????”
