Chapter 24
The room was filled with light; I stretched myself and looked for him. He isn't there. I'm naked on bed. Where has he gone? I think he left. No he won’t, he said he’ll be staying. Don’t be so stupid Ell, why would he stay and wait for you? Don’t even think, you are not boyfriend-girlfriend. Fuck!!! I don’t like these relations, but why the hell am I being so insane about him? Be practical Ell. I rolled my eyes at myself. Got myself dressed, walked out of my room to the hall.
Holly hell, he is not gone, he is there in the kitchen. Why do I think so negative about him? He is busy whisking. He is in his boxers . He was half naked; whisking OMG!!! He is so hot, I should join him. We can have it there. So many make-it thoughts were flashing; I never had these dirty thoughts. I slowly started walking towards him without leaving my sight. Shit! He saw me; he stopped whisking and came to me in seconds.
“Good morning beautiful” he hugged and kissed my lips, I blush. God his words are making me blush.
“Good morning” I said shyly
“Hungry?” he asked, I nodded
“Just a minute” he kissed and leaded me to the stool at the kitchen counter, I sat. I wish he and I were doing it now.
“Good morning, Ell” Nick greeted, when did he come? I didn’t notice him before; I was busy with my sex thoughts, so how would I notice him.
“Hey hi, good morning” I think I should introduce them,
“Nick this is Jacob...” before I complete my sentence
“Yeah I know, we already introduced” he winked. Okay so, I think I am too late for the introduction. I smile. I think Mr. First is gazing at me, I slowly turned my eyes to him. He is looking at me, fuck! But his expressions changed; don’t know what his expression is. He gave me a plate full of breakfast, but his expressions didn’t change. Why? What happened? I want to ask him, but I didn’t. He and Nick both are having a chat, I am really not interested in what they are talking but, I want to know what happened to him. I completed my breakfast and still am looking at him. He is not giving recognition to my presence. This is damn irritating, why the hell he isn’t looking at me.
“I think I have seen you before” Nick said
“Oh” he said, they both started laughing. What is this now? I rolled my eyes
“What is so funny?” Nat voice came from behind, we turned back. She is there behind us, still sleepy.
“Good morning hon” Nick pulled her towards him. She curled her hands around his neck and they both are kissing. Ha, I wish I too had that early morning kiss; I turned towards him, he was smiling, looking at me. His smile and his smiley face were back, thank god he is smiling and looking at me. I want to hug him hard and kiss his eyes now, but I can’t. He and his mood swings, I turned my eyes to my knotted fingers. Nat sat beside me
“Good morning Ell”
“Good morning Nat” I smile
“So who’s cooking” Nat winked at me
“Babe, you know my breakfast” Nick shrugged
“As expected, breakfast by Ell’s First” she winked, I blush with those words of first
“What first?” Nick asked
“You don’t know,
Wait Ell, you didn’t introduce him to Nick?” she teased. Yeah, I introduced him as Mr. First to Nat. I opened my mouth to say but closed it again. I turned towards Mr. First, he is not looking but, I can say he is smiling, his expressions changed. His mood swings really sucks.
“Please stop your suspense, tell me” Nick asked
“Mr. First, it is him” Nat pointed him.
“So he is Jacob First” Nick replied innocently, we both looked at each other and started laughing. I cautiously looked at Mr. Jacob First, he is smiling no, joined our laugh.
“Wait you are playing with me right” Nick said with his pouting face. Now, Nat is definitely going to tell him.
“I am Jacob Powell but, only to her, I am Mr. First” Mr. First intervened and patted Nick’s shoulder.
“Oh, now I got it, so he is the one who is picking and dropping you at the office” Nick said in surprise. What is there to be surprised?
“Yes” I shrugged
“Wait, you both work together?” Mr. First asked
“Yes we are, but I thought some friend is dropping you” Nick said in surprise, why is he so surprised?
“Babe, I’ve already told you” Nat reminded.
“Yes you‘ve, but I thought you are joking”
“Why would I?”
“I don’t know....let’s leave it, brother” he leaned, hugged and hit fits with Mr. First. They both hugged tightly again. I think it’s a boy thing. I rolled my eyes.
“So I don’t have to worry, how she is going to be at work” Mr. First said
“Don’t worry dude, I am there for my sister” they both hit their fits again
“Anything else” Nick asked arching his eyebrow
“I think Ell should tell you” she shrugged. What? What should I tell?
“I didn’t tell him Ell” she made the obvious look, oh she meant about my pregnancy
“I am...Pre” before I complete
“We are pregnant” Mr. First stood beside and held my hand with his. All this happened in seconds. I turned my face to him, he is happy. A moment ago he was different and now he is happy. And yeah, we became pregnant happened.
“WHAT!!!!!” Nick said in surprise
“Yes” I replied
“You are okay with this” he asked Mr. First. I turned my face cautiously to him, waiting for his response
“I’m not okay with this” he stopped; man please “I’m happy with this.
Actually more than happy” he said and turned towards me.
“Thank you” he kissed my temple
“I really like you Jacob” Nat said, we all together turned our faces towards her “at the beginning, I thought you were just playing, even thought of tossing your balls, if you do anything making Ell sad. But now, I can see your sincerity” Nat said honestly. What!? She thought of tossing his balls, I can’t imagine that. She is a tomboy I know that, but this violent, never. I chuckle.
“Call me Jake and thank you for being there for her"
"Of course I'll be, she is my bestie" they hugged.
