The monitor stared at Kara viciously as if he wanted to tear her apart.
"You had someone beat me at school. How dare you! I won't forgive you!"
Eric still wanted to curse. However, he met the man's cold brown eyes and felt a gust of chilly wind blowing past his neck. He was so scared that he broke into a cold sweat.
One of his classmates wanted to help him up. But Eric felt embarrassed and shook off his hand. He glared at Kara with resentment.
"Eric, you started it! You talked nonsense and even tried to hit me."
If he didn't say those words, Kara wouldn't get angry, and Uncle James wouldn't beat Eric to save her.
The little girl raised her head proudly. She was obviously scared, but she still held on to speak for him. James felt touched.
He withdrew his gaze and looked at Eric with his cold brown eyes. James wanted to pass over his fault, but this boy was too rude.
James felt he must do something!
He stood in front of Kara and claimed coldly, "Take back what you just said!"
Eric had seen many wealthy families when his grandfather. This man was arrogant. Eric could feel that he was not common people.
Eric wanted to fight back, but he was no match for this man.
Eric wanted to curse him, but it would degrade himself. Eric didn't know what to do. He was so upset that his chest hurt.
"Who are you? What's your relationship with Kara? Aren't you keeping her?"
A classmate beside Eric said in a huff.
Kara was angered and his face turned red. She walked forward to explain.
"Nonsense! He's my uncle. The monitor yelled at me first. I was just trying to defense myself!"
"Stop trying, Kara. Don't pretend to be innocent. You're a vicious woman. I feel shameful to be your classmate!"
It was one of the girls who liked the monitor, Winifred. She had been watching. She guessed that Kara wanted to attract the monitor's attention and had asked this man to make this show.
She stared at Kara mockingly. In her eyes, Kara was a cheeky person.
Kara was so angry that she clenched her fists tightly. Blue veins stood out on her hands. And deep fingernail marks appeared on her palms.
"Winifred, if you don't want to be my classmate, you can get out of this classroom. No one will stop you!"
"Kara!"
Winifred glared at her threateningly. If it weren't for a man standing beside her, she would have rushed over and slapped her face!
At this moment, Nolan arrived at the classroom. He noticed that the atmosphere was intense. He twitched his mouth.
These students were quite bold. They cursed in front of Mr. James. Were they too bored and thus looking for excitement?
"Mr. James, what do you need me to do?"
James glanced at Eric indifferently. He had taken a step back and deliberately let that girl scold Kara. James curled his lip and instructed Nolan.
"Go tell Mr. Danny that his grandson had a fight at school. His face was swollen, and his hand was injured."
James walked to Kara and threw away the broom in her hand. He frowned when he saw the pinch marks on her palm.
He held her small hand, looked up at Winifred and narrowed his eyes.
"If you don't want to study here, then get out of school!"
Everyone present was shocked.
"Alright." Nolan calmly replied.
He had been dealing with cunning people in business, not to mention these high school students who knew nothing about the real world. He didn't need the slightest effort.
The classroom was in an uproar. All the students stared at the tall and handsome man in horror.
His low voice, indifferent tone, and imposing manner made people instinctively terrified.
Hearing that the man wanted her to drop out of school, Winifred was pissed off and her face turned red. She felt like cursing him.
Before she opened her mouth, he was startled by Nolan's cold glare. She didn't dare to move and felt a lump in her throat.
Eric stared at Nolan in fear. He felt pain in his stomach. He wanted to run away when James said he would cripple his hand.
Kara followed James out of the classroom. She could vaguely hear the crying in the classroom. Her palms were sweating.
She suddenly thought of something. If she defied him, would Uncle James also be this cruel to her?
Kara swallowed in fear as she thought that she would not be able to go to school and her face might be beaten swollen.
Therefore, she should never offend this man!
