Even if her gaze was fixed on the view, Monalisa feels uneasy in her seat. She wondered aloud, "Is he following me?"
Steve takes advantage of the opportunity to be near her. With the popcorn in his hand, he asked, "You want?" When he noticed Monalisa exiting the restaurant, he followed her. He wants to eat at the restaurant. Also, to visit the lady. But as she came out, he followed her. He was relieved to find that she had entered the movie on her alone. He had assumed he was waiting for her husband earlier, but he was mistaken. She was by herself. That is why he purchased his ticket in order to be closer to her.
"Thank you!" Monalisa can't refuse the man because she has no excuse. He took a piece.
Steve does nothing except stare at her. He took her hand and slid the popcorn container into it. "Take that; it's for you."
When Steve grabbed Monalisa's hand, she had no idea how she felt. It tickled her heart, and she could feel it. She shouldn't have felt because Archie was already there in her heart. Suddenly, he was confused about her feelings.
Both of them were silent as the show came to end."Let's eat first, Monalisa?" Steve said when they come out of the theater."I need to eat something I'm really hungry now!"
Monalisa frowned. Because Steve invites her, it's like they're together, eh? She looked at her watch. It was ten o'clock. "Hmmm, thank you, but I have to go home." It's already late at night. "Maybe I don't have a jeep to ride home," he says, but at anytime there are many jeeps to ride if she has no choice but to ride a taxi.
"No problem. I will send you back home, Monalisa. " Steve's offer to the woman.
"Sorry, but I'm not free anymore. I'm married." She needs to reveal the truth to the man so he doesn't taunt her; she has a feeling he likes her, and she can already say so. He was in the restaurant yesterday, and now he is here in the cinema; it's just silly not to notice its action.
"Monalisa, we're not making any mistakes." We'll just eat, and then I'll send you so you don't waste time on the road."
The man is really naughty. She needs to know what his purpose is for her and why he's approaching her. even though she already knew the man's reason. "May I ask something?" she says. "Yes, she really needs to know what the man's agenda is for her.
"Sure, I'll answer every question you have, but let's eat first. "Deal, Monalisa?"
Monalisa sighed. "All right," she replied. Why so difficult for her to say no to him? " She just thinks that this will be the last time they meet. Even if he goes to the restaurant where she works, she will ignore him.
"Where do you want to eat, Monalisa?" Steve asked.
"Anywhere is possible."
"Okay." They were in front of Kuya J's restaurant. "Here. Do you want it? " Steve looks at the restaurant.
"It's your choice, Sir."
Steve went inside first, and Monalisa followed. The waiter approached them. "For two, please," Steve said.
Their order arrived quickly because there weren't many people inside yet. Steve put some food on Monalisa's plate. "Eat all, and you will gain weight," he joked at the last word. For him, her body is okay.
Monalisa stared at Steve. He's so sweet she can say his girlfriend or his wife is very lucky if he has. Steve looked at her. She immediately turned her attention to the food he provided for her. She remembered Archie. He never did that to her, to put her food on her plate every time they ate out. Yes, she does it to Archie. Now she can say that it feels good when you are given food on your plate.
Steve noticed that Monalisa hadn't touched the food yet. "Eat, Monalisa. So that we can finish quickly, she might be waiting for you at your house. Steve is referring to Monalisa's husband.
Monalisa wants to say that her husband is not in their house now that he is having a drink at his friend's house. Monalisa followed what Steve told her to eat.
"Good girl!" Steve said with a smile.
They eat quietly until they finish. Steve pays the bill, and they immediately leave and exit the mall. while they were in the car.
"Now, can you ask me anything, Monalisa?" Steve added, referring to the companion's silence.
Monalisa looked at Steve. "Why are you doing this?" she asked.
"Doing what, Monalisa?" Steve knew what she meant, but he wanted to talk to her longer, so he returned the question to the woman.
"What's your reason?" Why are you approaching me, Steve? "
"Do you need a reason, Monalisa?"
"Yes, do you like me?" She asks frankly.
Steve smiles."If I say yes, will you believe it, Monalisa?"
Monalisa's heart started beating fast. Before it was normal, but now it's different. "Why me?" I already have a husband. She raised her hand with a wedding ring. "Here's the evidence that I'm married."
"I know, but I can't stop myself from liking you." When I see you, I will say, I will love that woman like I loved my wife."
Monalisa's eyes widened at what Steve said to her. Your wife? Wait, are you fooling me? You're already married. Do you want me to be your mistress? Are you serious, Steve?"
Steve laughed at Monalisa's reaction. It's as if she's jealous. Let's turn it around on what you said, Monalisa. I want to be your mistress."
"WHAT?!" she said aloud.
Steve laughed so hard.
"What's funny, Steve?"
"Because you're so cute!"
Monalisa didn't know, but she shuddered when he said she was cute. "You're confusing to talk to, Steve."
"You said, are you married? Then I'm a widower. What I said is true. I like you, Monalisa. " Steve couldn't help himself. He grabbed her hand.
As a result of what Steve did, Monalisa felt thousands of tickles and electricity in her body. She pulled her hand that Steve was holding. She doesn't like how she feels right now. It's not right. Why is that? Why?
"I'm sorry, Monalisa. I can't control myself. " Steve apologizes to her.
Monalisa had stopped responding and was staring out the window. Looking at Steve might be mentally damaging. Who wouldn't adore him? He seems to have everything a lady wants. She can remark that his wife was fortunate to be alive at the time.
Steve was only looking at Monalisa. He can't blames her. He is well aware of her feelings. Why she had gone silent so quickly? Until they arrived at Monalisa's place.
Monalisa couldn't figure out how Steve had obtained her address. She didn't tell him where she lived because they were conversing about something else. She looked at him.
Steve read her mind. "The other day I followed you, so I know where your house is, Monalisa." He admitted.
"Are you my stalker?"
"I can say, yes I am, Monalisa."
"Why, Steve?"
"I already said that. I want you, and I want you to be part of my life."
Monalisa shook her head. "I'm sorry, but I can't give you what you want, Steve. I don't want to be a sinner."
"Oh, Archie. Is he nice to you? He treats you well. He didn't want to give up. He wanted to know what the man was going to do to Monalisa because he knew he could get over it.
"Yes, and he loves me so much." And I love him too! " Monalisa's direct response.
Steve will nod. Yeah, he knows it."If we couldn't be lovers, we could be friends, right, Monalisa?"
"No, Steve. I hope this is our last to see each other. And please don't go to the restaurant anymore." After that she quickly got out of the car.
Steve just looked at Monalisa, who was walking away. “I won’t give up, Monalisa. No! “ Steve wondered why he was saying this. Did the woman already tell him that he already had a husband? Is he really that desperate to get close to it? If he succeeds, he will destroy her family. Maybe the two have children. “Damnit!” he said. But this is what his heart cries out for. And he has a reason why he does it: to find out what it has to do with his estranged wife, Lisa. Is it impossible for two people to look alike without a relationship? If he knows everything, then he will let the woman be with her husband. And he will just let fate decide what will happen in his life. If he finds another woman to make him happy, why not? He will accept it from his heart.
Monalisa has just entered to the house. Her greeting was a slap. "Ahhh!" she exclaimed, "Why, Archie?" she questioned as she stroked her red cheek.
