The Runaway Wolf

“This isn’t some kind of a joke, is it?” I shrug, unable to fight a grin. “Try and see.” So he tries. Owen leans in and kisses me, and I am surprised by the speed of the fire it sends through my body. I didn’t realize how much I’d been waiting for it, but as soon as his lips are on mine I kiss him back and weave an arm around his body to hold him closer. When his shirt is off, I can’t help but run my fingers over his chest and abdomen, tracing the lines of his muscles before allowing my hand to slide further down. With a cheeky grin, I palm him through the jeans—and Owen growls again, pushing me on my back and holding my hands against the bed... *As a new Alpha of the Pack, Owen appeared in our little village, certainly with the obnoxious domineering personality to match. However, he is ignorant of one important detail which is that, for shifters like him, the witchcraft and magical energies prevalent in the area pose a menace. Since I met him, my body has started experiencing weird things... Could he unlock the real me?
