Chapter 94 Untitled Chapter

Chapter 94 Untitled Chapter
They didn't do what?

“I wanted to see the way you would react to this. That was why I told you they were kissing. Amelia, you know Hans can never do that to you; they were even discussing how to make you happy.”

What!

Wait, what!

Amy made me look like a fool?

“Are you nuts, Amy? Why would you do that stupid thing to me? Now you have caused me to make a fool out of myself in front of Hans and Matilda!”

OMG! I can't believe this! This is the worst day of my life. How does she want me to look at Hans now?

I called him a traitor on his face! And I told Matilda she would be leaving this pack as soon as possible. I should have listened to what they wanted to say. Sighs. Now I feel so sad.

Matilda will not respect me again, will she? Gosh! This is all Amy’s fault.

“And before you decide to punish me again like the last time, remember I don't feel pain now. You will only waste your time, exhaust your energy, and be bedridden for days.” She scoffed.

Seriously, I am so pissed off. This wolf has crossed the line now, but she is correct. No matter what I do to her, she won't feel pain.

However, that only applies to physical beating. If I do it emotionally, she won't be able to stop the pain.

My face gleamed with mischief as an idea crept into my head.

“What is on your mind, Amelia? You only smile this way when you have something mischievous in your mind.”

“Good that you know. Now get ready to receive your punishment.”

She wouldn't know what it is, and she wouldn't know when it will start.

And for Matilda and Hans’s case, I must deal with it casually. They shouldn't know that I have already found out the truth and regret what I did. I am an Alpha, so I shouldn't let them see my soft side. Hans might have seen it, but not Matilda.

A few minutes into rearranging all the things I had knocked off the desk earlier, a soft knock came on the door.

I didn't want to answer it because no one must see the mess I had made. But it dawned on me that it might be Matilda or Hans.

“Come in,” I called out, standing straight, eyes fixed on the door.

The moment the door opened, disappointment gushed into my stomach because it wasn't Matilda; it was the group of gossipers from the marketing department, each bearing a bunch of A4 papers.

“Alpha Amelia?” They bowed their heads. Although they tried to look away from the mess and focus on what brought them, I could see the curious look on their faces.

“What?” I asked, my tone sharp and brows furrowed. “We brought the apology letter you ordered us to write, Alpha Amelia.”

Oh, that. I had even forgotten about it. Sighs.

“Drop them on the desk and leave.”

I turned towards the window, waiting for them to leave so I could continue what I was doing.

“Alpha Amelia? Do you mind if we clear this mess up?”

I know what they are trying to do there, to be on my good side, so I will forgive their mistakes. Well, that is a win for them, and a win for me too, since I would waste my time picking up those things again.

“Clear them off and hurry away. I am expecting guests.”

They bobbed their heads, lowered themselves on the floor, and happily cleared off the mess.

They stacked the pile of files neatly on the desk, placed the unbroken decorations where they should be, and left with the broken pieces to trash them.

After they were gone, I sat on the sofa, crossed my legs, folded my arms, and sighed deeply. If only Hans or Matilda would come in now.

Oh, wait, I can wish! Snap! Why do I always forget these things? Urghh!!

It is more like summoning someone to your place without them knowing they were being controlled. Jeez! I should have done that since.

I shook my head, sighed again, and shut my eyes. I didn't have to always shut it to summon my power, but I love it that way. It makes me concentrate on whatever I want to do.

“Now I shall wait for them to show up one after the other.”

With hands folded and legs crossed, I kept staring at the door, eyes glinting in mischief. Four minutes later, a knock came on the door again. This time, I knew who it was, so I didn't usher her in for another three minutes.

“Come in,” I finished, saying after three minutes, and as soon as she gently pushed the door backward, I got up from the sofa, keeping a straight face.

“What do you want now, Matilda? To finish what you started?”

She lowered her head sadly, her hands behind her. “Alpha Amelia, I am here to apologize again and to clarify things to you. To be honest, Alpha Hans and I weren't doing the thing you thought we were doing. And to clear your curiosity, I will tell you all that happened earlier on.”

Then spit it out, lady. After all, that is what I want to hear, all of it.

“After General Lykon had shown me around, we returned to the company, and I bumped into Alpha Hans at the parking lot. Alpha Hans isn't someone who speaks uncontrollably, and as a super fan of his, I was the one who engaged him in a conversation.

I thanked him for taking good care of you and also beseeched him to thank you for me for the great position as your beta.

That was when he said he was going to throw you a surprise party to celebrate your achievement of wiping out the Dark Shadows sect.

Alpha Hans wanted to go to the interior designers earlier on, but I told him I was an expert in that too, and I could help with it.”

Hans was going to throw me a party? Omg! And I thought he didn't even care about me since I returned. But why was he laughing with her when he didn't do the same to me? It still doesn't make sense.
