Chapter 93 Untitled Chapter
Matilda and Hans turned towards the door, eyes bulging out in shock. The moment they saw that it was me who did it, Matilda stopped away from Hans, hiding something behind her.
“Amelia? What is…”
“What is wrong with me? Isn't that what you want to say?” I yelled, jerking towards them, eyes flickering blue. My thunderous voice pierced the ceiling, shaking the hanging fan and the chandelier.
“Is this what I deserved from you, Hans? Matilda was brought here yesterday, and her aim in this pack is to be my beta. Why on earth would you gush all over her all of a sudden? Is she even prettier than me? No, she is not!”
“Alpha Amelia, what are you talking about?” Matilda’s voice trembled, fears written all over her face.
“Shut the fuck up, Matilda! Is this what I brought you here to do? To take over Hans? You guys are a disgrace, and I am so disappointed in you, especially Hans!”
I spun towards the exit, cursing them. “And get ready, you are leaving this pack today because I won't stay in the same space with a backstabber!”
“Amelia?” Hans called, sounding so confused.
Confused? He'd better not try to play with my mind. I saw that, I saw them standing in front of each other, so close like a couple.
Does he want to deny that they didn't kiss? This is the worst betrayer I have ever seen in my life. Hams’s wasn't like this; his was just a talk in his office to make me his servant.
“So, will you do what I said earlier on?” Amy yawned, stretching her paws. “Can you just leave me alone?” I yelled at her, stamping towards the stairs. “I won't kill anyone, dude!”
As I angrily went down the stairs, Amy burst into laughter. A loud laugh that echoed in my ear like a case echo, causing my eardrum to ache.
I paused on the last stair, covering my ears as if that was going to stop me from hearing what was in my head.
Is it even time for a laugh? What just happened is something serious, which, if care is not taken, will end a life. But she is laughing?
“Are you out of your mind?” I shouted, hitting my head so hard that not only Amy, but also I felt the sharp pain, which disappeared as soon as it came.
“Ouch! That hurts.”
“Then stop laughing and let me be, bitch!”
“Bitch? Did you just call me a bitch? Then we are both bitches!”
What in the!
“So you have grown wings now, right? You can talk back at me and also yell? Have you forgotten the punishment you went through the last time you tried bonuses with me?”
Instead of apologizing and purring like she used to, she stood erect, tail hanging behind her.
“So fucking what, Amelia? You want to punish me? Then go ahead? Whatever you do to me this time, I will never feel any pain.”
What! Amy, talking back at me this way? What is wrong with her?
“Are you possessed?”
“We are possessed!” She snarled and went down on her paws, buried her head in her front paws, and shut her eyes.
Amy isn't in heat, is she? I don't think so. This isn't the mating period for wolves for me to think that her hormones are acting up.
Could she be acting this way because we caught Hans cheating on us? If that is it, then she is lucky. But if I find out that she acted that way rudely, she will regret it.
“How could you raise your stupid voice at me!” I snapped at her as I left the Packhouse. “The next time you do it again, I will hit you so hard that you will feel the pain for years!”
She didn't say a word again; all she did was snore loudly to block whatever I was saying from getting into her head.
As soon as I arrived inside the office and my eyes darted to the desk filled with files, decorations, and other important things, I dashed there, wiped off everything on it, breaking the breakables, and files were flying around.
I pulled my fingers inside my hair, clutching the roots.
“Amelia?” Hans’ commanding tone sounded from the door.
As I veered around, glaring at him, he shut the door, hurrying towards me.
“What on earth are you doing? Why are you acting this way?”
Is that even what he should be asking me?
“I can't believe this, Hans; you are a betrayer! Matilda came into this pack yesterday, and you are already all over her? For what reason?”
“I can never betray you.”
So what he was doing wasn't a betrayal? Was it a joke? Hans is out of his mind.
“Matilda and I were just…”
“Shut it!” I snapped at him, stepping away. “Nothing will make me believe that you guys weren't cheating on me. I saw everything! And I heard everything! The kissing, the…”
“The what! Kissing? Are you serious right now? Matilda and I didn't kiss. Why will I kiss her? She is only a…”
“We weren't kissing, Alpha Amelia. We can never betray you.” Matilda interrupted, wiping the tears on her face.
Those were fake tears; I know it! And they won't work on me.
“You trust me so much, you like me, and you even brought me back to your pack and gave me the position that you can't give anyone. Why then will I pay your kindness with this? Alpha Hans and I were only discussing something, remarking to you, “
“In your room? I'm not a pup; stop twisting the facts!”
“I swear, Alpha Amelia, I was the one who suggested we go to my room so I could show him what I was talking about.”
What nonsense was that? They are only wasting my time.
“I am done here. You guys can have the office to yourself and continue what you've started!”
I glared at Hans and stormed out of the office, slamming the door shut.
The moment I stepped out of the office, Amy, who had been so quiet for minutes, burst into laughter.
“And what is it this time?” I paused, biting my lower lip in anger.
“Because they didn't kiss. Hahahaha.”
