Chapter 80 Untitled Chapter
Matilda shrieked, ran behind me, and grabbed my waist in her hands. “Stop it, Amelia, you are killing me!” She cried out, rubbing her face on my back.
Those ghosts looked so terrifying, and as they headed towards us, their eyes kept rolling in their heads. My heart nearly jumped out of my chest, and without another thought, I cracked my fingers, and they disappeared.
Jeez! That was so creepy, and I will never do this nonsense ever in my life again. Aren't the members of the harmony pack even scared that these ghosts will haunt them one day? I feel sorry for the innocent ones among them.
“They are gone; open your eyes, and STOP squeezing my waist!” She pulled away, apologizing.
After a few minutes, we were out of the park, standing on the street, waiting for any vehicle to transport us inside the park. This time, I won't downgrade myself by spending the night at any hotel; I will go straight to the packhouse to meet the Alpha of the pack. I am sure by now, news would have gotten to them that I wiped out the dark shadows sect; the moon goddess never sleeps on this kind of thing.
“When we get inside the pack, drive us straight to the packhouse,” the driver said, looking at him from head to toe, smirking. “Why are you looking at me that way? Did you not hear what I said?”
“Of course, I heard you, lady; I am not deaf. It’s just that a dirty bitch like you cannot step inside the sacred packhouse to see our Alpha; you reek of blood and vengeance.” What! Wow! This dude has a sharp mouth.
“And you reek of pride and stupidity!” Matilda snapped at him, eyes rolling in her head. That's my girl; now she is fit enough to be my beta.
“You should know that you are getting yourself in trouble, insulting me, dude. Do you even know who you are talking to this way?” I didn't wait for him to give any stupid answer. “Alpha Amelia Brook, no need to tell you my pack’s name because you know it. I am just coming back from wiping out the dark shadows sect, so you’d better do what I order or find yourself to blame.”
He scoffed and shook his head. “Everyone wants to be Alpha Amelia Brook. Well, how is that my business? Get in, lady, and be fast about it.”
To provoke me more, he brought out a bottle of chocolate musk perfume from the center console and sprayed the car with it. “I won't get killed by this stench because of money.”
Hmm. I was only holding it; if not, he is going to be in trouble.
“Amelia?” Amy hissed, snarling, “I am losing it in here.”
“Calm down, girl, I'm losing it too. But I will let it out if he continues doing it.”
Matilda and I got inside the car, and I leaned on the seat. “You are so soft, Alpha Amelia. How could you not get angry at all the nonsense this dude is saying to you?”
She has no idea. Hahhaha. My patience level is zero. I am just holding it in. I rested my head on the headrest, smiling at Matilda. “Do not worry, my girl; calm down.” I patted her hand, closing my eyes.
All the way inside the pack, the driver kept saying stupid stuff one after the other. And for each word he said, it stuck in my throat, and I chose a punishment for each word.
Luckily for him, he took us to the packhouse, and when we got out of the car, he also came down, trying to embarrass us. “Where is my money, ladies? You guys are beggars and say you are Alpha Amelia. If you don't give it to me now, I will kill you right here!”
I couldn't hold it in anymore, so I snapped my fingers. Holding him around his neck. “You want to kill me? Then watch as I kill you first. And when you die, you can come back as a ghost to haunt me!”
“Alpha Amelia?” a sharp, commanding tone called. I turned and saw the Alpha of the Harmony Pack, standing by the gate.
“I sensed your magic as soon as you arrived here and came out to welcome you by myself. And I can see you have already gotten a scapegoat.” He folded his long arms, glaring at the driver whose neck I was still holding with a strand of fog.
“Oh, yes, I need to teach one of them a lesson, Alpha Jerry. Not sorry to say, but your pack members lack discipline!”
“Are you kidding me?” He gasped, getting upset, but sighed and released his hands. “Let him go, okay? I know he provoked you, but I shall deal with him for you.”
No. I prefer dealing with rude wolves by myself. And he isn't going to stop me unless he is seeking trouble for himself.
“I will take him with me when I go back to the Lunskye pack. He needs to be disciplined.”
“That's enough, Alpha, you've had a long and tough day. Please come so we can catch up on old times.”
I released the guy but signaled to one of the bodyguards who had come out with Alpha Jerry to take him inside.
“I am sorry he disrespected you, Alpha Amelia.” Jerry apologized as he led me inside the packhouse. “It wasn't only him, Alpha Jerry; a lot of them did. Do you know that this pack was where I spent a day before finding my way to the dark shadows sect? Your pack members kept bumping into me and tried playing the victims. Even in the hotel I lodged in, I wasn't spared either.” I paused, and so did he.
“Two of the dudes who are also members of the dark shadows sect even tried to have sex with me in the hotel room. Can you imagine? They want to plant a seed in the land that belongs to Alpha Hans.”
“Alpha Amelia, lower your voice, please. These dudes around are hearing you.”
Oh, really? He wants me to lower my voice because I am talking about sex and Hans? Pfft.
“That aside, I killed those guys and dumped their bodies in the forest.”
“What! Are you kidding me?”
