Chapter 114 Untitled Chapter

Chapter 114 Untitled Chapter
AMELIA BROOK

My heart dropped when I saw Matilda and Hans in a passionate kiss. I was so angry at that moment that I would have shattered them into pieces if not for the fact that I decided to leave the room.

I slammed the door shut, stamping my legs on the floor as I stormed towards the stairs. Whoever was there at that moment would think I was going to break the ground open with my legs because of the way I was walking in anger.

“Where do you think you are going?” Amy snapped, getting up on her paws. She was shuddering in anger, her eyes flickering blue light.

“Get back to that room, Amelia. This is the time that you show them who you are!”

“Quiet!” I commanded her, “Can you just leave me alone?” I thundered, shutting her up. Amy was only worsening the situation; she wasn't helping at all.

“No, I won't shut up!” She snapped back at me. “Why are you such a coward? You weren't supposed to leave that room. You were supposed to stay there and shatter them into pieces.”

“Leave me alone! And get out of my mind!” I shut the entrance door, shaking the whole building.

“I won't leave you alone! You must go back to that room and do what I want you to do.” Amy tried to take control of me. However, she had forgotten that I am the alpha, and she is only my wolf who takes command from me. There was no way she would ever succeed in taking control of me, not anymore.

All that happened a few months ago was because I hadn't awakened the power within me.

“Stop resisting!” she screamed,

“I am not resisting!” I screamed back at her. “You'd better stop doing this, or else I will punish you severely.”

I got inside the car, stepped on the accelerator, and sped out of the packhouse. As I headed to the training ground, I was driving recklessly, almost causing accidents on the road. But I didn't care, and when two cars collided, causing commotion behind me, I didn't turn around.

“Alpha Amelia?” Lykon called, hurrying towards the car as I drove inside the training ground.

“What is going on? You don't look happy.”

Must I always look happy because I am what? Because I am the alpha?

“Get out of my sight!” I snapped, waving my hand.

He understood that I was not in the mood, so he did his best by not following me. The moment I stepped inside the training room, I sent everyone outside and then shut the door. This time around, I wasn't going to use any equipment; I was going to unleash my frustration together with my power.

In a few minutes, all the training equipment inside the room was broken into pieces, including the metal ones that were so hard to break.

Was I born into this kingdom to be cheated on by those whom I hold in high esteem?

That is it! It is time I bring an end to being called this because I wouldn't watch myself being crumbled into pieces by those who don't fit in doing that.

“Amelia?” A loud voice came from the door, followed by a loud bang. “Open the door. It is me, Hans.”

Hans? He came to get his punishment from me directly?

“Get out of here!” I called after him, glaring at the door.

“I am not leaving this place until I have a word with you, Amelia. What I want to show you is important; it is about Matilda.”

Really?

They are done cheating on me, and now, he has come to lie against her and make her look like the bad egg, right?

“Just give me a few seconds, and after you have seen what I want to show you, then you can decide to believe me or not.”

“I wonder what he wants to show us.” Amy scoffed.

I didn't know how he did it, but before I could know what was happening, Hans was already inside the training room. The door flew wide, but the door handle was yanked off the door. This showed that he tampered with the door.

Do you have any idea what you are getting yourself into?” I ask him, eyes fixed on him in rage.

“I know. I know that you are thinking of killing me right now. But I don't care about it. You can do whatever you want to do with me. However, I want you to look at this video first, and then you can decide if I deserve to die or not.”

I snapped my finger, summoning my powers.

Hans was saying gibberish, and it was provoking me the most. As I lifted my hand to throw the fog at him, Hans raised his hand, showing his phone screen to me.

“Look at this video. Just watch it. It is something that will pique your interest.”

He stepped closer, and the more he stepped closer, the clearer I could see the screen.

“It is a video of Matilda I recorded in the room. I took her into our room so that I could make her confess who she was and show that she is a demon so that you would believe me.”

He played the video and passed the phone to me.

My heart sank the moment Matilda admitted that she was a demon. However, I wanted to disregard it because she must have been forced to say it. Then she unleashed her power, and everything in the room turned dark.

I was so shocked after seeing the video that I couldn't move from where I was standing.

So Matilda was a demon after all?

Hans has been right all this time.

But why didn't I figure it out from the beginning? Matilda and I were always together, yet I never perceived the demon's scent from her. Why?

The healer said I could perceive and control demons. What must have gone wrong?
