"We're going out," Archer says.

I shake my head. "No thanks. The last time you roped me into going out, we ended up stuck with a load of students."

"It's non-negotiable. I even got Oak to agree."

I arch a brow. "Now, that, I'm not sure I believe."

"Well, believe it." He gives me a stern look. "There's no way you're weaseling your way out if Oak has agreed."

I sigh heavily. "And we can guarantee no students will bother us?"

"Not exactly."

My brow furrows. "What do you mean, not exactly?"

"Well, one requirement of Oak coming is that Eva and her friends come too."

I sigh heavily and pinch the bridge of my nose. "And let me guess, that includes Adrianna Vasquez?"

His dark eyes flash with a mix of anger and desire. "Yes."

"Forget it. I'm not going." There's no way I can trust myself to sit in a bar with Azira Sidorov for the night and not take things too fucking far.

"Are you going to make me and Oak drag you with us?"

I clench my jaw, glaring at Archer. "You can be a real asshole. Did you know that?"

"Yeah," he says, shrugging. "But I'm a loveable asshole."

Oak walks into the staff room. "What are you two jabbering about? I can hear you in the corridor."

"I'm telling this asshole that I don't want to go out tonight."

Oak's jaw clenches. "Good luck. The guy is a fucking menace. He won't give up until you are on your knees."

My eyes narrow. "I'd like to see him try."

Archer laughs. "Just make it easy on all of us and stop being a killjoy."

"We're not going to that seedy bar again, are we?" As the place was fucking terrible.

"No," Oak says, running a hand through his hair. "I've picked a nicer place. It won't be packed full of students." His jaw clenches. "Except the three we're letting come with us."

"Three?" I ask, wondering why it's not four. Eva hangs out with Azira, Adrianna and Natalya.

"Yeah, Natalya Gurin is still back in Boston for her brother's wedding."

My stomach dips as a small part of me had hoped that Azira wasn't going. As I just can't be sure that I can keep my hands to myself, not off campus, not after she was such an eager, good girl while she let me cum over her face.

I clench my jaw. "Fine, but it's totally not appropriate for students to be going out with us."

"Desperate times call for desperate measures," Archer says.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

He sighs. "Vasquez is making me work hard for it. Perhaps if I can get her to let her guard down, she'll finally give in."

"To what end? You'll have another notch on your bedpost." It's disgusting how ruthless he's being in his pursuit of Adrianna, especially since it's about the conquest to him and nothing more.

His jaw clenches. "Not exactly." There's an odd look in his eyes as he shakes his head. "Let's just have fun tonight. Do you know how to do that, Bly?"

I glare at him. "My idea of fun is entirely different to yours, Archer."

"Yeah, because you are a sadist who loves inflicting pain. I know."

Archer has no idea, not really. Neither does Oak. No one knows the depths of my depravity or how much I lack any humanity anymore. There's always been this dark, empty void inside of me, ever since I can remember. But I can feel it growing larger with each passing day.

My childhood growing up in Russia was dark and twisted and most of it I've blocked out, but I know it's what created that void, that darkness. And I've fed it with my twisted desires. It's grown so much that I think it controls me entirely, and now I know there's no way to satisfy my cravings for blood and destruction.

I thought discipling students would be a good enough outlet to keep the urges at bay, but for a while now, they've been getting out of hand. A few years ago, I let that craziness take over. An assistant teacher by the name of Gail was a masochist to a certain extent, and we started getting intimate.

As with most subs, she got attached to me, but I let it carry on for too long. I let that attachment deepen, enjoying the emotional pain I inflicted as well as the physical. And then we got caught. Oak had sent a student for punishment and walked into my basement with her tied up on a swing while I cut her skin and fucked her with blood on both of us.

The student had screamed and ran away straight to Oak.

At that point, we were in big trouble. It wasn't so much that we were fucking, but it was during school hours and a relatively young student had witnessed it. Gail got fired because she hadn't been with the academy long and Oak put me on probation for three months. He didn't want to fire me, as he knew I had nowhere to go, but he clarified I needed to rein in my sadistic tendencies, at least on school property.

It's why Azira Sidorov is so dangerous. She's a masochist in more ways than Gail ever was, and her desire for pain will only feed and fuel my desire to inflict it.

"Bly?"

I shake my head. "What?"

"I said meet back here in an hour, okay?" Arch asks, looking at me intently.

I nod. "Fine." I should tell him to stick it up his ass, but there's a part of me that wants to get closer to Azira. A part of me that wants to explore this fucked up dynamic between us further. Find out just how much of a masochist Miss Sidorov truly is.
