Chapter 11

While Anna is still on her way to help an old grandmother, someone is seen knocking on her door. Not long after, the sound of small steps could be heard from inside the house. And the door was opened by an little adorable girl.

'My prince!'

Belle, who didn't expect who was now in front of her, immediately screamed happily and looked very excited because of her price.

'Hello, my princess.'

Leon responded with his gestures imitating a respectable nobleman in front of the 4-year-old girl. And that made Belle truly happy. Her smile is so wide. She even jumped up and down a little. Belle totally couldn't hide her happiness.

'So, what are you doing here again, my price? You miss my warm hug?'

Leon immediately smiled at the innocent little girl in front of him.

Leon then bent down to match Belle's height, who looked still very short.

Just for information, An unusual thing to see Leon was very friendly and gentle towards a little girl!

'That's right, I miss your hugs, my princess,' He replied, not forgetting he smiled very sweetly at Belle.

'Come here, I'll hug you, my prince,' Belle said, stretching her cute arms. And Leon was seen immediately bringing his body into Belle. He seemed to enjoy the little girl's hug.

And it's made all of the men who were in his gang completely feel wonder about it. It was the first time they witnessed Leon being warm and gentle to someone after he transformed into a ferocious man masked like a pirate.

'This is odd, isn't it?'

'Yeah. I didn't understand why is Leon acting like that because of a little girl. Because if he wanted. There were lots of charming girls who could give him a hug that would satisfy him.'

'Absolutely. But, why does he even continue to ignore and don't want to care, even be rude to the many women out there, but he can be kind to that little girl?'

'If I were Leon, of course, I'd take a lot of the girls in town, as compensate those who are unable to pay their debts to him.'

While the fierce men following Leon continued to gossip about Leon's oddity, Leon continued to be sweet to Belle. Leon had been led into Belle's house. Leon's smile persisted, even growing wider. Especially when he looked at the cute little hand holding Leon's hand which was much bigger than Belle's.

'Please sit down, my prince.'

Belle said in a very sweet-sounding way.

'Thank you, my princess.'

'By the way, my mom was out shopping at the supermarket. She will buy some food, my favourite snack too, and I'm sure you will like it too,' she said. 'My Mom is very good at making my mood rise. She always managed to make me smile and happy. One of them is by giving me snacks that I like.' With a smile, Belle is proud of her mother.

Leon who heard her adorable chatter, felt grateful because he decided to replace Anna who couldn't pay her grocery bills before.

What would happen if he didn't pay and deliver all of Anna's shopping? Of course, Belle's cute face will show her disappointed face, right?

After he had enough to be with Belle and her adorable chatter, Leon felt that he should leave, before Anna returned to her house.

'I have to go, my princess,' Leon said. he still acting and treating Belle as if she were really a royal princess. And Belle immediately put on a sad face. She wanted to spend more time with Leon.

'Why? Can't we have dinner together first?'

Leon shook his head, with a sad face mimicking Belle's, as if he didn't want to go home early, and he left because there was indeed something urging him to leave now.

'I'll come back another day.'

But still, Leon's words couldn't make the sadness on Belle's face disappear. Belle's lips pursed with tears in her clear eyes. Leon felt guilty about that. So, he came closer to Belle, kneeling in front of the little girl who was wearing her bright yellow dress today. Leon's hand cupped Belle's cute face which looked sad.

'Don't be sad, my princess. We will meet again. as soon as possible. I promise.'

Belle was seen sticking out her little pinky finger in front of Leon. 'Promise?' Leon's smile widened seeing Belle's sweet action. Then he hooked Leon's little finger, which was much larger, onto Belle's. 'I promise.'

'Then, wear this, it's starting to get cold outside.'

Belle took off the red scarf she was wearing, then she put it on Leon. 'But it's yours, is it okay, for me to wear it?'

'Of course, I can't possibly make my prince cold out there.'

Leon, again, could only smile at what the little girl did to him.

He looked at himself funny now. His famous fierce image, then the mask that made him look like a pirate, now looks cute with the red scarf he is wearing.

Even though it feels a bit strange, Leon doesn't mind his current appearance.

'Thank you, my princess,' Leon said sincerely.

That was the end of Princess Belle's sweet moment with her prince.

Five minutes after Leon left Bella's house, Anna came home.

'Hey sweety, sorry I have to leave you for a while. I helped a grandmother first,' Anna said somewhat regretfully to Belle.

'Oh, no problem, Mom. I'm fine. And my prince also told me about your lateness, before.'

Anna's eyebrows rose. Confused by what her daughter said, especially about... 'Your prince?'

'Um, he shouldn't have come straight home after helping you carry our shopping, right?'

Anna became even more confused when she heard Belle's chatter. Because Anna didn't shop. She used the money to help a man before.

'Belle, you-'

Anna was just about to ask something she didn't understand to Bella. But, then her eyes immediately widened, due to a pile of groceries that she hadn't bought was now in the corner near the kitchen of her house.

'Who brought it all here? I don't buy it all!'

Anna is so confused now. For her, it was an impossibility. Anna means, how is that fucking possible? That groceries in her house??!

'My prince said, that he brought it all here to help you, Mom,' Belle answered, but Anna still didn't seem able to understand. Confusion was still thick on her face.

'Your prince? That mafia gang? That rude and annoying loan shark?!'

Belle frowned, clearly she couldn't accept that her prince was compared to a loan shark.

'No, no. that's my prince. not a rude man.' Belle protested.

Anna just sighed.

Because now was the time for Anna to straighten out this confusing situation.

'What else did he say to you, Belle? Did he order something for me?'

Belle shook her head. Because Leon didn't say anything before he left his brief visit a few moments ago.

'What does he actually want? His rudeness makes me dizzy and irritated, and his kindness makes me not feeling well, anymore!'

Anna grumbled.

Meanwhile, Belle just looked incomprehensibly at her angry mom, for something that shouldn't make her angry, she thought.

'Belle, would you mind if Mom left you again? I won't be long.'

Even though she pursed her lips, Bella nodded.

'Promise it won't take long, Mom.'

'I promise, my dear. And this time, don't open the door for anyone until I come back, okay?'

Once again Belle nodded. She preferred to just obey her mother.

'But, where will you go, Mom?'
