LUCIA POV
I got flashes of the horrible times I spent with Ravyen and his family. They were taunting and I guess these memories were my nightmare.
Nevertheless, ignore such weird change, I pressed on.
He doesn't deserve you, you're the bravest woman I've ever come across"
His words were comforting and I found myself smiling as I was a bit nervous.
"If it hurts, let it out, scream it and tell him, damn you" He pressed on. I ducked my head at him, a little startled at his words.
This man was blunt and I was liking his personality. I ended up pouring my heart to him with tears and he stare, enthralled.
I spoke about how bittered I felt about the treatment I received from his family, sonia cold attitude towards me, the blizzard way ravyen treated me after everything I sacrificed for him.
The empires he own today were my doings and intelligence.
Suddenly, he embraced me, cuddling me in his arms. His breath smelt of alcohol and I never minded.
He was my therapy and I loved the way he cusses at Sonia and rayven. I was forgetting I had a beef on him, blame it on mead.
Rayven claims I couldn't give him an heir and wanted a divorce. Fuck, who cares? This was the 21st century and people barely bothers about having kids because various means has been devices to create one.
While I narrate, I noticed how bittered he was and he had even thud his hand on the table like he was bothered.
"He doesn't deserve you, he's a dick!" He barks and I agreed.
"It's okay, I'm always be proud of who you are" he encourages and I felt impuissant constantly wanting us to remain in that manner for a long time.
For a moment, my world stopped and I felt we had met before, however, my brain wasn't ready to think.
There was something about his eyes, to be sincere, I couldn't stop myself from falling.
I sniffed as he wiped my tears, consoling me. I felt so alive in his arms. He made me forget a man called ravyen existed. He made me realize how important and useful I was.
Something ravyen would never do. Sadly, I thought I'd never get to see this man again and it hurts more than the first heart break I'd received.
Stupid me, I didn't even ask for his name but he knew mine. How? A thought crossed my mind that probably I must have let it out during my confession on what my name was.
Languorously, I lifted my head to face his gaze, feeling more relieved and the burden in my heart was lifted.
"Tell me about you" I dryly ask like though I was interested. It was just to while away time and not to miss his constant gaze.
I took the last sip of the drink and threw the bottle to the ground like it were a trophy which I disregard.
Raising my hands up, I screamed like he said.
"Damn you ravyen" I yelled with so much boldness that my voice echoes.
He burst into laughter and I joined him. My face was red, hot and I was feeling sweaty in his presence.
We felt the cool breeze, inhaling softly and talking about humans liks i wasn't one.
I felt so alive in his presence, pouring out my frustration, dozing off yet tried to keep awake.
He spoke like a foreigner and even though he tries to appear soft, his voice gave him away. Something tells me he was no ordinary gentleman.
Judging from his fighting skills outside, his gothic outfit and sturdy composure.
I was so eager to learn about him like a desperate pup wanting to hear a fascinating story from her mother. However, he keeps skipping that part.
We joked, laughed, spoke about affairs and We didn't mind if we were the only ones here. The bartender had to stay back to see that we were gone.
If I weren't mistaken, I noticed some guest at a corner staring at us.
Their eyes took a glimpse at their wrist watch, then at me. They were dressed like him.
"Wicked" he commented, spitefully gulp and exhaling softly. His voice drew my attention on him.
"You're funny, why do you keep referring to us as humans...and you're so green" i noted fighting so hard to keep my face awake.
"Let's call it being special"
He didn't look tipsy and my heart melted when he said those words.
His words were encouraging and I found myself shedding tears.
Those tears that I had held back stream freely and I wasn't shy.
He cupped my cheeks with his left hand and his right palm wipe my tears.
Drawing his face closer to me, my eyes feel on his lips. I desire to taste them.
I suck my breath and shut my eyes, hoping for what my heart desires to be true.
He inserted the strand of hair covering my face partly.
I felt his lips on mine. He slowly parted them, twirling my tongue with his and napping every soul out of my mouth.
I was breathless as though he took the rest of my miserable soul away. I wanted him and I didn't mind if he were a stranger.
When he terminated the kiss, I craved for more. It took a while for me to regain my breath because he stole it way from me but then came his betwitching eyes that didn't leave me off a moment.
I thought I would die under his affectionate wild kiss. A cold sensation flush through me. I was horny, I wanted him to myself.
Maybe the alcohol was to be blamed but right that moment, I was shameless. I wanted attention, warmth, care, love and every romantic emotions that ever existed.
Once again, he terminated the kiss and whispers;
"Let's take it down to somewhere more private"
I folded my lips, loving those lines of his. It shows we'd be living this hell of a club and give the infuriated bartender peace of mind.
I couldn't really recall how I got out but I found myself standing in front of a house, my body leaning on him while my arms went around his neck.
