Chapter 94 When Love Chose Pain
Samar tries to calm her, his voice steady and firm.
“You stay here, Rimjhim. I’ll bring him back.”
But Rimjhim, weeping and desperate, shakes her head and cries, “No! I want to go to him… I have to be with him!”
Samar explains, pleads, and tries to reason with her, but Rimjhim cannot control her emotions. In her eyes, there is only Vihan his pain, his danger, and her boundless love for him.
Samar takes a deep breath. He has no time to argue. He steps outside swiftly, but Rimjhim rushes after him.
When Samar gets into the car, the opposite door suddenly opens, and Rimjhim slips inside. Her breathing is heavy, tears still streaming down her face. Samar looks at her in surprise, silently asking, Why did you come?
Rimjhim, restless and broken, looks at him and stammers, “Please… take me to him. I can’t breathe without him… I won’t find peace until I’m with him.”
Samar says nothing. He closes his eyes for a moment, then orders the driver, “Go.”
The car speeds through the darkness of the night, slicing through the silence. Behind them, the headlights of the bodyguards’ convoy follow closely.
The ride is quiet, filled only with Rimjhim’s muffled sobs and her trembling breaths. Samar stares out of the window into the night, his mind weighed down with worry.
At last, the car stops in front of the club. Neon lights flicker, and loud music pours into the street. Samar and Rimjhim step out quickly, with the bodyguards forming a protective circle around them. Together, they walk inside the club.
Samar and Rimjhim step into the club, their eyes immediately searching for Vihan, but he is nowhere to be found. The bodyguards spring into action over the pounding music and start clearing the club with urgency. The neon lights still flicker, but now the air is thick with tension and panic.
Just then, the club manager appears hesitantly. The instant he sees Samar, his face drains of color. Bowing nervously, he asks, “Sir… any problem? What happened?”
Samar’s voice is sharp and commanding. “Where is VR?”
The manager’s voice shakes with fear as he replies, “Sir… he went upstairs with a girl, into room number 302.”
Hearing this, Samar and Rimjhim freeze for a moment, then, without wasting a second, rush up the stairs. Their steps are heavy, but their pace is swift as lightning.
At the door of room 302, Samar does not hesitate. He pushes it open and barges inside. Rimjhim follows closely behind. And the sight they see… shakes them both to the core.
On the bed lies Vihan, his shirt half unbuttoned, his body restless. And on top of him is Drishti, leaning close with a sly, devilish smile on her lips.
The moment Drishti sees Samar and Rimjhim, she screams in rage, “How dare you enter without permission?!”
Samar’s face hardens like stone. With a single gesture, the bodyguards rush in, grab Drishti, and drag her out. She keeps screaming, but her voice soon fades beyond the room’s walls.
Rimjhim breaks down in tears. Her heart splinters as she sees Vihan’s condition his bloodshot eyes, his heavy breathing, his trembling body. The drugs have consumed every inch of him.
Vihan tries to rise from the bed but staggers helplessly. Rimjhim rushes to him, catching him and steadying him with her shoulder. Tears roll down her cheeks, but in her heart only one thought echoes, I have to save Vihan.
Samar’s eyes blaze with fury. He wants to grab Vihan, shake him, scream at him but this is not the time. Just then, Karan storms into the room.
Samar turns to him sharply. “Check him.”
Karan immediately hurries to Vihan, checks his pulse, his eyes, and then his face grows tense. His voice drops, heavy with urgency. “He’s been given GBH gamma-hydroxybutyrate a sexual stimulant. If his needs aren’t fulfilled in time… his life could be at risk.”
Samar’s heart stops for a moment. Lines of worry deepen on his face.
And then, suddenly, Vihan pulls Rimjhim closer. He inhales her scent, her nearness driving him into madness. In a rush of wildness, he sinks his teeth into her neck.
“Ahhhhh!” Rimjhim cries out, her eyes filling with tears.
Samar’s rage erupts. He strikes Vihan across the face with a punch.
Rimjhim stops him desperately, choking back her tears as she says, “He won’t die! I won’t let anything happen to him… I’ll fulfill his need myself.”
Her words leave both Samar and Karan stunned, frozen in shock.
Karan immediately protests, “No, Rimjhim! You don’t understand he’s not in his senses. He could hurt you badly!”
But Rimjhim’s eyes hold only determination—stronger than fear, stronger than pain. For her, Vihan’s life is worth more than her own. She grabs Karan’s hand, then Samar’s, and forcefully pushes them both outside. Slamming the door shut, she locks it from the inside.
Karan pounds on the door, his voice frantic with fear. “Rimjhim! Open the door! This is madness!”
But Samar stops him, his voice low and heavy. “Leave it… Once the drug wears off, Vihan will realize what he’s done. At least… it won’t be with Drishti.”
Karan turns to him, eyes filled with worry. “But brother… what about bhabhi? You can’t imagine how much she’ll suffer. This pain will break her.”
Samar draws a deep breath. His face carries both anguish and helplessness. Slowly, he speaks, “What else can I do? There’s no other choice… only Rimjhim can save him now.”
With a heavy heart, Samar places a hand on Karan’s shoulder and leads him away. His eyes still burn with anger, but inside, he is restless and torn apart. Whatever is happening tonight, the only one responsible is Vihan.
And the two walk away, tightening security as they leave. Inside the room, Vihan keeps calling her name the entire night in his intoxication.
The first light of morning filters through the window. The room still carries the remnants of last night an air thick with fear and unease, heavy enough to choke.
