Chapter 123 Pregnant?

Chapter 123 Pregnant?
Grayson's POV
Where's Quinn? I haven't seen her.
After I finished the first period, and now that the third period is almost over, I haven't seen her. She's no longer next to Dylan.
If she went to the toilet, she would have come back by now. So that can't be the reason she disappeared.
Oh shit! Could it be that Owen took her away like he did that time?
I can't just stand by. I have to get my team to finish the game as quickly as possible.
"The clock winds down in Period Three, and Frost Maple, Grayson, refuses to back off from White Tiger, Hanz. One last push, a final burst of speed... GOAL! That's the dagger, and that's the game!"
I look at Hanz with satisfaction. Take that, you rookie!
Bram and the others approached me, celebrating.
"Good work, team!" shouted the coach.
Meanwhile, I saw Hanz throw his stick. He must have felt very embarrassed, especially after bragging and using dirty tricks to take me down.
"Under the bright light of today's game, they, Frost Maple, come together at centre ice, breathless, bruised, victorious. Laughter echoes across the rink as the win settles in. This moment is theirs."
I pulled away from my team. I looked once more at the stand. Quinn was still not among them.
"Tonight belongs to him. Time and again, he finds the net, reading the ice like a master. With the most goals of the game, he stands above the rest and leads his team to victory. He is Grayson Talon, the captain of Frost Maple, the wild wolf."
I really hoped Quinn could see me beat Hanz today. I imagined she would give me a smile or a hug.
Quinn really wanted me to win today's game. She even did everything she could to calm me down, and I was aware of that.
That's why I intend to repay her with this victory. Unfortunately, she wasn't here when I won.
I slipped away, heading to the locker room first after all the proceedings were completely over.

"Grayson! Grayson!"
I stopped, seeing Dylan moving his wheelchair very quickly towards me.
"Please move aside," I said to the others.
I approached Dylan. I took him a little way away from the crowd.
"I'm looking for Quinn. Do you know where she is?"
"She said leave for a moment at the end of the first period. Then she didn't come back after that. And she left after seeing your phone. I thought she would come back, but she hasn't come back yet."
I ran my fingers roughly through my hair. "Do you have any idea where she might have gone?"
"No. But try calling her with my phone. Call your number." Dylan handed me his phone.
I immediately called my number that Quinn had. But it didn't get answered. It was deliberately turned off.
"It's not working." I returned Dylan's phone. But when he had only pulled it halfway back, a new news notification popped up, so I took it back.
Oh, bloody hell!
It was news about Hanz making a clarification. The clarification stated that Quinn was his girlfriend and they had a relationship, backstreet.
Bloody hell! I'll finish him off!
"Grayson, where are you going? Aren't you looking for Quinn?"
I turned around with my fists clenched. "I'm going to finish off Hanz first."
"But what if something happens to Quinn? Please find Quinn first. Whatever you saw in the news, I can guarantee that it's just a rumour. Because Quinn loves you, very much. So it's impossible for her to have a relationship with another man. And whatever the news is, please deal with it later. If Quinn is that important to you, then find her instead of responding to Hanz."
Goddammit! Fuck! Damn it! Motherfucker!
Hanz has crossed the line. I'll sue him for defamation after this.
Quinn's name must be cleared no matter what! And only I can claim that Quinn is mine.
I took a deep breath, doing the breathing technique Quinn taught me to calm down when I was angry.
And when I had calmed down a bit, I opened my eyes again. I turned back to Dylan. "Okay, we'll look for Quinn first. I suspect someone is involved in this."
Dylan's eyes widened. "Who do you suspect?"
The name hadn't left my mouth yet, but the figure was already in front of me. He was a few metres away from me, just getting out of his car.
Without further ado, I ran straight towards him. I grabbed his collar and pushed him until he hit his car. "Where are you hiding Quinn!"
"What do you mean? Who is hiding Quinn? I just arrived."
I put both my hands on his neck. I choked him with all my strength. "Don't pretend you don't know. Quinn is with you, isn't she! She wouldn't have left in the middle of the game without a reason! What did you say to her, huh!"
"You two! Don't fight here. Everyone has their phones out. If they record you, you'll be the ones who lose."
Dylan's words distracted me. Owen took advantage of this to push me.
I took a few steps back. But then I moved forward again to punch him in the face. He responded with a punch too.
"Just so you know, I only saw Quinn at the hospital during a medical check-up. She was with your mother. I didn't even have time to say hello because they both seemed to be in a hurry to get into the lift. And I haven't seen her again since."
The hospital? But for what? With my mom too. Something didn't feel right. Quinn couldn't have gone there with my mom because my mom didn't even want Quinn around her.
"Eh, it seems you don't know. What happened? Quinn is pregnant with your child and your mother wants to abort it?"
"Fuck you!" I punched Owen in the face again.
But if Owen's guess was correct, then there was no time to stay silent. I had to go there and stop them.
Fuck! I didn't want to lose my child if that was true.
"Go, catch up with them. I'll go home alone," said Dylan. "And if Quinn is pregnant, please don't blame her."
Of course not! I even wanted it to happen, but I was still waiting for Quinn to be ready.
And if the pregnancy happened outside of her plans, I would still accept it.
I love Quinn and everything about her.
If she's pregnant, it means she's carrying half of me inside her. And with that, of course I'll protect her. It's impossible for me to blame her.
