Chapter 7: Slaughtering Through the Thorne Family
The dim back alley reeked of sewage and garbage.
"Little bitch, stop struggling. Just come with us nicely. Xavier's waiting for you in bed!"
A man with a brutish face leered, playing with a sharp switchblade in his hand as he backed the petite girl into a corner step by step.
The girl pressed herself tightly against the brick wall, her eyes showing a trace of fear, but she still bit down hard, like a hissing little cat.
Just as the bald man's large hand was about to grab the girl's collar, a hand suddenly reached out from the darkness, gripping his wrist like an iron vice.
"Who—"
Before the man could finish his words, Ethan applied slight pressure.
Crack!
The crisp sound of breaking bone was especially jarring in the quiet alley. The bald man's thick forearm instantly twisted into a grotesque "Z" shape.
His piercing scream had barely begun when Ethan lifted his foot and kicked hard into his chest.
Thud!
The three-hundred-plus-pound man flew backward like a broken sack, crashing heavily into the trash cans behind him and passing out on the spot.
"Kill him!"
Seeing this, the remaining three thugs showed vicious expressions and charged at Ethan, waving their blades.
Facing such trash, Ethan didn't even change his breathing rhythm. He simply shifted slightly to avoid the blade, then smashed his fist into one man's face, causing his nose bridge to cave deeply inward as blood sprayed everywhere.
Then with a sharp whip kick, he swept the remaining two to the ground.
In less than three seconds, the men who had been acting so tough moments ago were now curled up on the ground in agony like shrimp.
"You're dead! The Thorne family will skin you alive!" One thug clutched his broken ribs, coughing blood while crawling desperately toward the alley entrance.
Ethan watched the fleeing dogs and narrowed his eyes slightly.
The Thorne family again?!
Under the dim streetlight, the girl dusted off her pleated skirt and took a deep breath.
"Thank you so much. My name is Mia Miller." The girl blinked her bright, lively eyes.
"You know someone from the Thorne family?" Ethan's expression didn't change much as he turned to look at Mia.
Hearing this, Mia immediately waved her small fists, complaining fiercely.
"That pervert Xavier actually paid these stupid pigs to kidnap me and take me to his estate to play sick games. I barely managed to escape when they weren't paying attention. I almost became that idiot's bedroom toy!"
As Mia spoke, her indignant yet mock-fierce expression looked quite adorable.
However, hearing this, Ethan narrowed his eyes slightly, a cold gleam flashing through his deep pupils.
"Xavier?"
Ethan gave a cold laugh. "Looks like even God doesn't want him to live through tonight."
"You know that pervert?"
Mia keenly caught the killing intent in Ethan's tone, then added huffily, "I heard the Thorne family is like a cancer in this place! They've kidnapped who knows how many innocent girls!"
This sentence completely ignited the fury in Ethan's heart.
"If it's a cancer, then there's no need to let it last another night." Ethan straightened his suit tie, his tone flat.
Hearing that Ethan was going to attack the Thorne Villa, Mia froze for a moment, a trace of worry flashing in her large eyes.
"Hey, are you crazy? I heard the Thorne family is a famous local gang family, full of armed desperados!"
"Just slightly stronger ants. No real difference." Ethan shrugged casually.
Looking at Ethan's face, confident to the point of arrogance, Mia's rebellious nature was instantly ignited.
She actually wanted to see Xavier get what he deserved with her own eyes, so she playfully ran forward and grabbed the hem of Ethan's suit, holding on shamelessly.
"Then I'm coming too! I want to see that bastard crying his eyes out! You saved me, so you have to take responsibility all the way! "
Looking at Mia clinging to him like sticky candy, Ethan was silent for a few seconds before finally sighing helplessly, tacitly accepting this little tagalong's presence.
Half an hour later.
On the outskirts of New York, at the sprawling Thorne Villa.
In front of the steel gate stood two muscle-bound giants nearly six feet tall with bulges at their waists.
Seeing Ethan and Mia walking over brazenly, one of the men immediately reached for his waist, barking roughly, "Stop! This is private property..."
His words cut off abruptly.
Because Ethan's figure moved like a ghost, instantly crossing several feet to appear right in front of him.
Ethan didn't even make a fist. He simply raised his hand casually and chopped down on the man's thick neck with a knife-hand strike.
Thump!
With the dull sound of the carotid artery being blocked by terrifying force, the man didn't even manage a scream before his eyes rolled back and he collapsed with a crash.
Before the other man could react, Ethan grabbed him by the back of his collar and smashed him into the nearby wall, knocking him out cold.
Mia, following behind, covered her mouth in shock.
While Mia was lost in wild thoughts, Ethan had already walked to the heavy steel gate. He raised his long right leg and kicked hard at the steel door that could withstand a battering ram!
BOOM!
An deafening sound of tearing metal echoed through the night sky!
Under Mia's stunned gaze, the several-hundred-pound steel gate was actually torn from its hinges and thrown into the yard, crashing heavily onto the lawn and kicking up clouds of dirt!
"Is this guy even human?!" Mia swallowed dumbly, feeling her worldview being strongly impacted. It wasn't that she'd never seen powerful people, but this scene was just too outrageous.
The huge crash of the falling gate instantly alerted the entire estate.
Piercing alarms blared wildly as dozens of black-suited bodyguards armed with batons, machetes, and even firearms poured out from all directions.
"Kill him!" the lead bodyguard roared.
"Stay close to me."
Ethan tilted his head slightly to instruct Mia, then walked toward the group of vicious-looking bodyguards with his hands in his pockets.
The next second, the slaughter began.
