Chapter 115 CHAPTER 115

Chapter 115 CHAPTER 115

Avara hung in the air, turning blue from her face down to her neck.

Doveris was pleased when she saw that she had stopped struggling, and was about to lose her breath completely.

With joy, she chuckled and said, "Don't worry, Avara. I'll see to it that your Alphas find your body. Can't let them travel around, searching for you like they did with Aurora."

She laughed, still using her power to squeeze Avara's neck, so as to make sure she dies.

Her heart rate had already dropped. It no longer beat rhythmically, but with a faint skip after ten seconds.

Then it kept on dropping and dropping and... "What is this?" Doveris's smile faded when she noticed something unsettling.

Avara's eyes that were closed, suddenly stared back at her like a zombie, widely!

This creeped the sorceress, as she frowned with disgust, ordering one of the bats to close her eyes.

The bat nodded and flew towards Avara's body, reaching for her face to close her eyes.

It was at that point Doveris was about to release the strangulation, believing Avara was dead, when to their horror, Avara's hand swiftly grabbed the demon bat's neck with one hand, choking the beast!

This fast move frightened the sorceress in her spot!

"What... How's she..." She couldn't find the right words but watched in confusion.

Avara was still blue like a dead body, but her hand had full strength, choking the bat in its place, and her eyes... That was the most unsettling part for Doveris.

Avara was looking straight at Doveris!

It felt creepy!

"Are you that weak?! KILL HER!!" She roared at the bat, waiting for it to finish the job.

But to her surprise, a snap came from the neck of the bat, leaving the sorceress horrified.

Avara had broken the neck of the creature, finally letting go of it, as its body flew down to the bottom of the hurricane, getting swept out with force.

"What?" Doveris's voice trembled.

She couldn't believe what she just witnessed!

She lifted her eyes at a blue faced Avara, who was still staring at her strangely.

Then  she heard Avara call her name in a soft voice, "Doveris."

The sorceress didn't respond but tightened her grip around her staff, trying to understand how she woke up again.

"Her heart already gave up. How is she still alive?!" She roared in her mind, losing it.

Raged, she stretched her hand again, putting Avara under another strangulation to finally end her for good.

But this time... Something was different, and Doveris could see it.

Instead of Avara struggling like she did before, she just floated there in that same spot, eyes locked on Doveris creepily.

As the sorceress increased the grip, Avara's calm clueless face suddenly switched into that of rage, as she stared at the sorceress one more time and... "DOVERIS!" She roared loudly, shocking the sorceress to the core!

Doveris's whole body shook when she heard that voice.

Even the demon bats behind her, became troubled and flew up above, keeping their distance away from Avara.

"That voice," Doveris trembled, as she saw life coming back to Avara, despite her strangulation spell still gripping her tight!

"No, this... I think I messed up with the spell," She panicked, stretching her hand out again, unleashing a demonic chain spell that surrounded Avara.

"This should do it," She smiled, waiting for the chain to wrap and squeeze her up.

But to her horror, the chains vanished!

Doveris gasped, moving back at once.

"What's happening?!" She exclaimed, holding on to her staff, staring in confusion.

Then in that moment... "Doveris! Doveris!! DOVERIS!!!" Avara began calling her name repeatedly and loudly, as that innocent face gradually shifted into that of a mad woman, looking for her enemy's blood.

Her call irritated the sorceress, annoying her deeply.

In anger, she roared at the demon bats, "KILL HER!!"

They didn't want to after what happened to the other bat. But they obeyed, charging at Avara.

As Avara kept yelling and repeating Doveris's name, the sorceress witnessed something else that almost killed her right there.

Avara shockingly moved with an abnormal speed, using her bare hands to rip the demon bats apart!

Their wings, arms, heads... She pulled them all apart, letting their blood splash on her with no care!

Seeing this terror, Doveris's mouth dropped, about to let out a scream of shock when suddenly, Avara speedily came in her face, grabbed her by the neck and yelled her name one final time, "DOVERIS!!"

The moment she did that, Doveris's skin went completely pale when Avara's human eyes shifted into the rarest wolf eyes that only one person ever harbored.

"This can't be... No, it can't be!" Doveris trembled in fear, staring into those familiar purple raging gaze!

"No, you're... You're..."

"I built you from scrap, Doveris!" Avara spoke, her voice echoing like thunder as she squeezed the sorceress's neck tighter, making her choke.

"And I..." Her body slowly began to shift, revealing her true form.

Doveris's eyes widened when Avara's ears transformed into that familiar unique white and black wolf ears, and her human scent faded, getting replaced by a smell that was long forgotten for centuries!

"I... Luna Aurora... will end you!" Avara roared, her eyes flashing, scarring Doveris!

The sorceress couldn't believe what she was seeing!

"Au—Auro—ra!" She choked, reaching her left hand up to her neck, to try and force her hand off her!

But her grip was super tight. Her strength proved who she was.

"This can't be real! Avara... Avara is Aurora?!" Doveris panicked in her head, staring into those familiar eyes that almost killed her that night!

In a blink of an eye, a raging Avara/Aurora, launched the sorceress down to the bottom of the hurricane with full speed, sending her a few inches into the ground!

Doveris gave out a painful groan, feeling her back crack!

The force of the wind below almost threw her out, but she managed to keep herself in place with her staff. Only for her to look up and see Avara dropping towards her with speed!

Shaken, Doveris stretched her staff up and fired a lightning bolt at her. But like a glitch, Avara dodged it, landed right on Doveris with force, and began punching the sorceress further into the ground!

Doveris couldn't dodge the hit if she wanted to. No matter where she moved her face, Avara's blow always followed it, landing punches upon punches!

Her hits scared Doveris, who managed to use her staff to blast Avara off her body, sending her to the side.

Seizing that opportunity, she used her powers to levitate out of the grave Avara used her body to dig, and flew further away, trembling and looking down to see if Avara was coming.

"This can't be happening. I thought I killed her! I saw when she vanished and left ashes behind! Was I wrong? Could it be that Aurora never died that day, but was accidentally sent to the human world?!" Doveris questioned in panic, still levitating up to escape the hurricane.

When she looked down again to find Avara, the sorceress screamed in terror when those purple glowing eyes stared back at her from the hole at the bottom and took a powerful leap, coming for her!

"STAY BACK!" Doveris screamed and pointed her staff at Avara to release another blast.

But she was too late.

Avara had already gotten to her level and grabbed the staff out from Doveris's hand!

Before she could move back or keep levitating... WHAM!

Avara struck Doveris's face with the staff, causing the staff to break into half!

Doveris witnessed her weapon split into two, affecting the monstrous wind she had created.

"NOOO!" Doveris screamed as the wind forcefully pulled her inside, spinning her around along with her staff!

Her power has gone out of control. She can't stop the wind now that the staff is broken!

Avara also got pulled by the wind. But she didn't allow herself to get tossed about crazily.

Instead, she used the movement of the wind to her advantage, positioning herself to create something that will put an end to the hurricane.

Taking in some of the air, Avara gave out a mighty howl which unleashed a purple aura that engulfed her, forming a spirit werewolf around her!

Doveris who fell at the bottom, using her broken staff to pin herself down, looked up and saw this.

There was no room for any more doubt.

Her wins in every quest, her intelligence in solving problems, her abnormalities as a human, the Alphas' magnetic pull towards her... "She has been under our noses all this time, and we didn't know. Aurora is Avara," Doveris trembled with fear, knowing what lies ahead of her.

All her fame and her title would be gone.

Aurora will not spare her!

The howl Avara released could only be heard within the wind. But due to the mating pull, Hugo, Dean, and Jay heard it!

Their whole bodies shivered on the battlefield, as they turned towards the direction of the wind, feeling their hearts pounding fast.

They couldn't believe it.

"Aurora?" Each called in shock from different directions, as they witnessed the hurricane that has been standing still in place for long, vanishing slowly.

That's when they heard the howl again, coming from the very spot the wind was. They recognized it!

"It can't be," Hugo stared in shock, dashing forward.

Dean and Jay were also on the move, tracing the wolf call, meeting each other on the same pathway.

Seeing each other tensed, they knew right away that they didn't hear wrong.

That's Aurora's call!
