Chapter 76 All messed up

Chapter 76 All messed up
“Stop the car!”, Luciano ordered, disregarding the fact that they were on the road and his order could have caused an accident.

His order immediately caused the driver to step on the brakes aggressively!

The other cars stopped suddenly, causing a traffic jam.

Luciano immediately stepped out of the car, his security guard thinking there was a possible threat.

“Don!”, Andreas called out as he followed After Luciano.

He couldn't believe they had found Isabella so easily.

“Isabella!”, Luciano called out, walking briskly towards the lady who looked like her.

The innocent lady had no idea that the Italian Mafia Don had stopped his convoy because he thought she was someone he knew.

“Isabella!”, Luciano called out again as he reached her, pulling her hands so she'll face him.

“Arghhh!”, the lady squealed, removing her head phones.

She was rather shocked that someone she thought was a random stranger had suddenly grabbed her.

She turned, disappointing Luciano as he had expected to see a different face.

“What do you want from me?!”, she said as she took a step back.

The sudden gesture had scared her, as well as the numerous men who came down the vehicles that had caused the traffic.

Stopping right behind Luciano, Andreas took a deep breath as he saw it wasn't Isabella.

She had a similar height and hair color to Isabella, but, she simply wasn't Isabella.

Recovering from the excitement and instant disappointment, Luciano put his hand in his pockets as he walked back to the vehicle.

“Clear this up!”, he said as he passed by Andreas.

“Stand down!”, Luciano said to the men as he raised his voice slightly.

The lady watched, still as confused as she saw the men go back to the various cars they alighted from.

“We're so sorry you had to experience that!”, Andreas apologized as he helped the lady pack some of the things she had bought.

“We thought you were someone else!”, Andreas explained.

Startung to recover from the shock, the lady in question nodded gently as she collected the things Andreas passed to her.

“Uh huh!”, she managed to mutter as she hadn't seen Andreas sneak in cash with the things he passed to her.

“Thank you!”, Andreas said as he walked back to sit in the vehicle waiting for him.

I should have taken the bus, the lady thought as she went on her merry way.

The breeze had been nice and she had opted to take a walk.

She never would have expected that said amount of men would stop her.

Shaking her head again, she thought, I really should have taken the bus.

The street soon cleared out as each party went about their day.

It soon felt like a random stranger hadn't grabbed the attention of The Italian Mafia Don.

“She looked so much like Isabella!”, Andreas said as the vehicle approached the villa.

“I think black hair is common in this region!”, Luciano commented, making a mental note to not mistake each and every lady of the same height for Isabella.

“I think so! She looked a lot like Isabella!”, Andreas continued.

“Why do you keep looking for her anyways!?!”, Andreas asked, already aware of the answer.

He just wanted Luciano to admit.

It took a while for Luciano to reply him as he pondered on admitting the truth or make an excuse.

“Her family owes me money! She's the guarantee they'll pay me! Remember?!”, Luciano asked back.

“Well! The amount the men have spent surely would have passed the actual amount her parents owed you. Did you consider that!?”, Andreas asked.

His question caused Luciano to finally smile after a long week.

Andre’s smart mouth, he thought.

“Did I ever tell you how smart your mouth was!?”, Luciano inquired sarcastically.

“A good number actually! Remember the time you wondered how you would survive if I went on a vacation?!”, Andreas reminded, teasing Luciano.

“I don't remember saying that!
I'll tell you the reason why I have to find her when we find her!”, Luciano said, retaining his resting position with his eyes closed.

“You just want me to find her quickly then!”, Andreas said, still teasing The Don.

“Maybe!”, Luciano said, attempting to be vague when Andreas already had his answer.

She has me mistaking the most random people for her, Luciano thought as he reflected on his outburst moments before.

She has me all messed up.

Celia had stuck to her word, helping Isabella to secure a meeting with someone who could help her get an apartment.

Considering the fact that she was off work on Sundays, Isabella had used the opportunity to check out some very beautiful one room apartments.

It was now time to choose which one she would settle into.

“Alright! You've had fine options! What's your pick?!”, The agent who's name was Lorenzo asked Isabella.

“It's so difficult to pick just one!”, Isabella said as they took a seat by the last apartments entrance.

“Are you trying to say you want to live In all of them at once!”, Lorenzo asked, causing both of them to break into hysterical laughter.

“No! No!
That's not what I mean!”, Isabella defended.

“Okay! So what's your favorite eh! Which one do you fancy?!”, Lorenzo asked, cutting to the chase.

“I really liked the one at the fourth nineth street, expect that one had issues with the water!”, Isabella started, explaining the one she'd have loved to pick.

“That one eh!! The water is a big problem!”, Lorenzo said. It wasn't the first time he was having a rejection from a client.

“And then, the first one you showed me was too far away from my work place. It could get really hard to commute!”, Isabella explained.

Her biggest wish for an apartment was for it to be close to where she worked.

“Ohhh, the one I would have loved so much is a little bit above my budget! So…!”, Isabella said as she tapped on her forehead.

“What's it going to be then?!”, Lorenzo asked, having an idea on what would he her pick.

“The apartment before this one is the one I'm going to go with!”, Isabella said, pointing towards the last houseLorenzo had showed her.
