Chapter 406 Teased by Him Again
The VIP hospital bed was big enough for two people.
But when Benjamin suddenly pulled her into his arms without warning, Sophia let out a startled cry and struggled for a moment.
Her whole body fell straight onto Benjamin.
Still catching her breath, she heard a muffled groan from above her head.
"What's wrong? Did I hurt you?"
Sophia frantically tried to pull away from Benjamin's embrace, looking at him with concern.
"I'm fine." Benjamin coughed weakly a couple of times and slowly shook his head at Sophia.
His movement had been too sudden earlier, and Sophia had crashed straight into his arms, accidentally hitting the wound on his arm.
But this little bit of pain was nothing to him.
However, Sophia didn't see it that way. She leaned down with a guilty expression, her hands not knowing where to go.
"If you're feeling uncomfortable, you have to tell me."
Benjamin couldn't help but smile. "I'm really fine. If you hadn't insisted that I stay in bed, I'd probably be walking around by now."
Worried that Sophia would be concerned, he gently rubbed the top of her head and immediately tried to get out of bed.
Sophia's eyelid twitched hard, and she quickly pressed him back down.
"Don't move around. Your injuries haven't healed yet."
Getting Sophia's care, Benjamin's eyes flashed with amusement.
He wrapped his arm around Sophia's slender, soft waist and pulled her back into his embrace, this time more carefully avoiding his wound.
Sophia was afraid that moving too much would hurt him again, so she stayed still in his arms, not daring to move.
"Mrs. White, you just hurt me. Shouldn't I get something for that?"
Sophia blinked in confusion. "What kind of compensation do you want?"
Benjamin's cool fingertip lightly tapped her forehead. "Figure it out yourself."
Sophia scratched her head in puzzlement, then her eyes lit up. She cupped his face and kissed him.
"Is one kiss enough?"
If not, she could give him a few more.
The sound of the kiss rang in Benjamin's ears. When he looked down, he met a pair of sparkling eyes.
His heart instantly melted into a pool of spring water.
His sexy Adam's apple rolled slightly, and his voice became a bit huskier. "Not enough. Again."
Sophia's cheeks suddenly flushed red.

He got her again!
How was Benjamin so good at teasing her?
Her bright eyes turned slightly, and with her face flushed, Sophia slowly brought her lips closer.
Her lips touched Benjamin's cool, thin lips. Her movement was very light, like a feather falling on his heart, creating ripples.
Her heartbeat also skipped a beat.
Everyone said that couples who've been together for a long time become like family, but she felt that every day with Benjamin was full of hormones and adrenaline.

Sophia's cheek pressed tightly against his chest, and in her ears was the sound of his strong, powerful heartbeat.
After thinking for a moment, she said, "Tomorrow I'll bring you food from home. Chase said you didn't eat much today."
"Don't listen to Chase's nonsense. I just didn't have an appetite after waking up from being unconscious."
Actually, he wasn't lying. He really didn't have an appetite.
Even though it had been a long time since he drank that bowl of porridge, he still felt like his stomach was completely full.
"Then tomorrow I'll prepare some food that helps with digestion."
"Okay."
As they were talking, the door was suddenly pushed open, interrupting their conversation.
"Benjamin, I heard you were sick, I..."
Cillian pushed open the hospital room door and rushed in with a worried expression.
But when he saw Benjamin and Sophia embracing on the bed, he froze.
Did he come at a bad time?
Sure enough, the next second, he felt Benjamin's cold, sharp gaze shooting toward him.
Cillian: Danger!
Cillian laughed awkwardly and defended himself, "Benjamin, would you believe me if I said I didn't mean to barge in?"
Sophia on the bed noticed someone had come in, and her cheeks turned even redder.
She hurriedly climbed off Benjamin, trying to act as if nothing had happened as she got out of bed.
Hearing Cillian's cover-up attempt, the corner of her lips couldn't help but twitch.
Benjamin rubbed his forehead helplessly. If he weren't unable to move easily, he would definitely grab Cillian by the collar and throw him out.
His eyes narrowed slightly as he coldly glanced at Cillian. "What do you think?"
Cillian: "..."

"Should I leave so you two can continue?"
He scratched his head, somewhat embarrassed, and backed out, closing the door behind him.
After he left, looking at the tightly closed hospital room door, Cillian thought he was pretty smart.
Benjamin was angry right now, so if he barged in at this moment, he would definitely get beaten up by Benjamin.

"Sophia is still the best to me," he said sincerely.
Benjamin raised an eyebrow at this. "What? You think I'm not good to you?"
Cillian was stumped by his question, not knowing how to answer for a moment.
Benjamin, don't you know in your heart whether you're good to me or not?
That's what Cillian thought, but he couldn't say it out loud.
He gave Benjamin a flattering smile. "Of course you're good to me! You're the best to me!"
Benjamin mercilessly called him out. "You say the same thing to Alaric, don't you?"
Cillian choked and smiled sheepishly, not daring to speak anymore.
Sophia watched the interaction between Cillian and Benjamin and couldn't help but laugh.
"Alright, stop giving Cillian a hard time. It's rare that he came to see you."
Cillian nodded frantically in agreement, as if he'd found his savior.
"Exactly! Benjamin, I turned down a really important job to rush back and see you."
Benjamin didn't believe him. "Since when did you become so considerate?"
Cillian: "..."
What exactly did he do wrong? Why did Benjamin keep picking on him today?
It couldn't be that just because he interrupted his intimate moment with Sophia earlier, Benjamin was being this petty and wanted revenge, could it?
