Chapter 160 Calling You the Same as My Wife, What's the Problem?

Chapter 161 Take a Punch to Trade for a Sophia, Not a Loss

Benjamin lowered his eyes, and the light cast two thin shadows on his eyelids.

Benjamin's slender fingers tapped lightly on the A4 paper, his tone carrying a casual, lazy weariness. "Matthew, do you need me to read it out loud to Sophia?"

Matthew's eyelid twitched hard, his face darkening.

He snatched the A4 paper away, his tone cold and hard. "No need."

"Benjamin, remember what you said today. Sophia is not the orphan girl that outsiders talk about. She's my junior, and if you dare bully her, I will never let you off."

Benjamin nodded slightly, his tone serious. "Sophia is not an orphan. She's my wife. I'd let anyone else suffer before I'd let her suffer."

Matthew nodded reluctantly with satisfaction, his expression still cold. "Better be that way."

Matthew's tone paused, then he continued, "Tomorrow at noon I'll give Sophia her final treatment, and then you can take her away."

After speaking, he narrowed his eyes and glanced coldly at Benjamin. "I hope these past few days have taught you a lesson. Our Sophia is not someone to be pushed around. If there's a next time, I'll never give you another chance to see Sophia."

"I understand. Thank you." Benjamin stood straight, gently smoothing out the slightly wrinkled suit, his expression serious.

He took a deep breath and told himself silently: Don't get angry, don't get angry!

If he got too upset, who would be there to protect Sophia?

At this moment, Sophia was in her room, pacing anxiously, glancing toward the door from time to time.

Time passed bit by bit, and the two men still hadn't returned. Sophia grew more and more anxious.

No way!

She had to go check!

What if Benjamin was being bullied?

Sophia clenched her small fists and walked toward the door.

Just as she was about to open it, the doorknob suddenly turned.

Then the door was pushed open from outside, revealing a tall figure.

Sophia's eyes lit up, and she threw herself at the person in front of her. "Honey, you're finally back! I was so worried!"

Seeing Benjamin return in one piece, Sophia quietly breathed a sigh of relief, burying her fair cheek in Benjamin's chest and nuzzling gently.

Benjamin let out a low, husky laugh, raising his hand to gently stroke Sophia's soft hair. "I'm fine, don't worry. Matthew probably won't stop us from seeing each other anymore."

"Really?" Sophia slowly lifted her small face from Benjamin's embrace, and only then did she notice a heavy bruise that had suddenly appeared on Benjamin's face.

Her mouth dropped open in surprise. She stood on tiptoe and gently touched it with her soft, fair fingertip. "Honey, you're hurt? Did Matthew hit you?"

The moment Sophia's soft fingertip touched his cheek, Benjamin suddenly sucked in a cold breath, scaring Sophia into immediately pulling back her hand, extremely nervous.

"Honey, are you okay?"

Meeting Sophia's eyes full of worry, Benjamin felt a warm current flow through his heart, but more than that, he felt guilty.

He clearly knew Sophia couldn't handle being teased, and in just this short time, her eyes had already reddened.

Benjamin immediately wrapped his arms around Sophia's slender, soft waist, pulling her into his embrace. "Don't worry, I'm fine."

Getting punched once in exchange for Sophia.

Worth it!

"Let me put medicine on it for you."

Sophia didn't take Benjamin's reassurance to heart, and even thought he was just being tough.

Benjamin felt somewhat helpless. How could he tell Sophia that he was actually just pretending earlier, wanting Sophia to care about him a bit more?

Sophia pulled Benjamin to sit on the bed, then rummaged through the cabinet for the medicine box, found the ointment, and applied it to Benjamin.

Sophia's soft fingertips and the cool ointment gently caressed his face, and Benjamin's mind immediately began to wander.

He lowered his eyes, his gaze falling on Sophia's fair, delicate little face. His sexy Adam's apple bobbed up and down, and in places Sophia didn't notice, those eyes were filled with desire.

However, Sophia was too focused and didn't notice anything unusual.

"All done." After applying the ointment, Sophia withdrew her hand, wanting to get up and put the medicine box back.

However, her wrist was suddenly grabbed. Sophia looked up in surprise and saw Benjamin slowly leaning forward.

"Sophia, come home with me tomorrow. Come back to our home, the home that belongs to just the two of us."

"Our... home?" Sophia's eyes widened in surprise.

Benjamin gently rubbed the top of Sophia's head, his tone gentle as he explained, "The house I took you to the day we got our marriage certificate. I've been living there all these years, and from now on, that will be our home."

Sophia suddenly remembered the villa Benjamin had taken her to on the day they got their marriage certificate.

Sophia wouldn't have to see Amelia and Magnolia anymore, so naturally she was happy and quickly agreed.

But Sophia didn't yet know that Amelia and Magnolia had already been kicked out of the White Manor by Benjamin.

At this moment, the Martinez Villa was in complete chaos.

Since Amelia had been sent back, she hadn't stopped for a moment, constantly cursing Benjamin and Sophia, and even throwing things around the house, making it completely chaotic.

Tobias only had this one daughter, Amelia, whom he had pampered since childhood. He never expected that an incident over twenty years ago would turn Amelia into what she was now.

He felt both heartbroken and guilty, but more than anything, he was angry.

This afternoon, Amelia flew into a rage because the porridge being cooked in the kitchen wasn't to her taste.

Without a word, she knocked the bowl to the ground, and the scalding soup spilled onto the servant's hand, burning it red and quickly raising blisters.

The servant bit her lip and cried out, tears of pain streaming down continuously.

Yet Amelia felt no guilt whatsoever. Instead, she thought the servant was being too delicate.

It was just a little injury—what was there to cry about?

How could such a person be kept at the Stewart Manor? No manners at all.

Not like at the White Manor, where all the servants had to listen to her, and no matter what she did, those servants didn't dare show the slightest complaint.

However, she didn't know that after each of her tantrums, Preston would humble himself to sincerely apologize to the servants and compensate them with a large sum of money.

Preston had always felt guilty toward Amelia, which was why he tolerated her in every way.

But the Stewart Manor had no such rules.

Tobias came down from upstairs with his cane. Hearing the servant's painful cries, he immediately quickened his pace down the stairs.

As soon as he came down, he saw this scene.

The servant clutched her hand in pain, the wound on the back of her hand shocking to see.

Yet not only did Amelia show no guilt, she actually scolded, "How delicate! Can't even take a little pain. What right do you have to stay at the Stewart Manor? Pack your things and leave right now!"
