Chapter 71 CHAPTER 71
"Raven, Titan sent me to you, he knew the gun shot would scare you please come out it is ok." Kendra said.
"No, he is dead like my dad, please leave me alone." I said crying.
"No, your wrong Raven he is ok, I promise you. Come out or at least unlock the door." Kendra said.
"Your not lying to me Kendra?" I asked.
"No, Raven he is fine. Come on now open the door," Kendra said. Shaking I stood up and grabbed the bar to get out of the tub. But I was shaking so bad I did not get my leg high enough and fell out onto the tile floor hitting my head. I could feel the blood running down my face. I crawled to the door and unlocked it moving out of the way sitting with my back against the counter. "Raven, what happened?" Kendra said coming into the bathroom.
"I fell getting out of the tub," I told her.
"'The lights just came back on, let me get the first aid kit." Bre said
"Raven I'm going to help you stand ok?" Kendra said. But as soon as I put weight on my left leg it hurt badly at the ankle and I almost knocked both Kendra and I down.
"Lean on my Raven we will get you to the couch I will link Dr. Michael and have him come look at your ankle." Kendra said.
"He is on his way, Bre is there any ice in the fridge?" Kendra asked.
"I'm sorry." I said to them both. Bre brought over a cloth bag with ice and put it on my ankle that Kendra had put up on the couch.
Dr. Michael arrived quickly and was checking my ankle and foot when Titan came running into the room.
"What happened?" He yelled demanding an answer.
"Titan it is my fault, don't yell at Bre or Kendra
I miss judged the height of the tub because I was scared." I told him.
"Dr. Michael is it broken?" he asked in a calmer tone.
"No it is just sprained it should be healed up good as new in a couple of days. Stay off it for the first twelve hours, after that Spirit should have healed it enough so you can put some weight on it. You need to change that bathtub Titan." Dr. Michael said. Then left.
'I sent Kendra as soon as the gun fire happened. I thought you might have a flashback to you father. I'm sorry Raven." Titan said. I shook my head.
"No, I'm sorry I overreacted, this is the first time I have heard a gun since my father died. I caused everyone so much worry. I truly am sorry." I said I could feel Titan's mood change.
"Raven, stop please. United front Remember You and me." He said. He was changing the topic on purpose. I took his hand
"Together. “I said.
"Kendra have you seen mother anywhere?" Titan asked.
"No I have not seen her since this morning." Kendra told him.
"Raven, has mother been to see you since this morning?" Titan asked me.
"No not at all." I told him.
"Titan when are you going to make Raven an official member of the pack so we can link with her?" Kendra asked. Sitting down in one of the chairs. I would have to tell Titan I did not want to change room. I was use to the sounds everything made in here. Like how the chair Kendra sat in made a small scrap sound on the floor when people sat in it. After almost six months of getting use to the sounds in here I would have such a hard time if we changed rooms. But then again I still had to learn the pack land. I was not going to hide in here forever. I would walk among my pack with my head held high."
"Raven, did you hear me?" Bre asked
"Sorry was lost in thought Bre." I told her.
"Do you want your dinner up here tonight?" Bre asked.
"I'm not very hungry," I told her honestly.
"So that is yes to dinner in your suite, go it," Bre said.
"That is not what I said Bre." I argued with her. But she did not respond. Instead, Titan asked for his also to be brought up.
"Bre, bring me a new book and a pencil please quickly." I asked. Two minutes later she handed me a book and a sharp pencil.
I opened the book and began to draw. Everyone in the room was quiet. Forty-five minutes later I was done.
"Titan where are you?" I asked.
"Standing behind the couch, what have you drawn?" He asked.
"I don't know but that is where your mother is." I told him.
"May I take the book?" he asked. I nodded and he took it from my hands. I assume to look closer at the picture.
"Raven, I don't understand the picture, he confessed to me. I tried to make sense of what I had drawn. I don't know how to explain it she is with us but not with us. She is talking to people that are a higher existence then us." I told him.
"But how?" He asked
"I don't know, I just drew what came to my mind. I'm sorry I don't have the answers." I told him.
"Kendra go see if she is in her room, here take my master key," Titan told his sister as he took a key off his key ring.
"I'm sorry Raven, I'm just worried about mother." Titan said to me coming and sitting at my feet. It did not take Kendra long to come back.
"She is not there, Titan." Kendra said.
"Valen come in here, “Titan asked.
"Yes Alpha?" Valen asked.
"When did you last see, my mother?" Titan asked him.
"She came up from having tea with Maggie about eleven Ish and went into her room. I did not see her leave her room." Valen said.
"So she was in her room when the power went out?" Titan asked.
"Yes, Alpha as far as I know," Valen said.
"What do you mean as far as you know?" Titan asked his anger rising.
"She could have left her room when Thor and I switch places and neither of us saw her." Valen said.
"Raven would you be able to sense how long someone has been in their room? I know I'm asking you something you probably don't know." Titan asked.
"I don't know but I'm willing to try." I told him.
The next thing I know he has picked me up like a baby and carried me to his mother’s room. He sat me gently down in a chair. Kendra, Valen and Bre followed.
"Please can you all go out all of your scents are to much for me to concentrate on one." I asked. Titan had them all leave.
