Chapter 70 CHAPTER 70
"Alpha found me in the dark and helped me to get here he said no one else is to enter but him." Bre said I could tell she was scared by her voice.
"What is happening?" I asked.
"We have lost all power to the whole pack. The emergency generators for the pack house have been damaged. Valen is outside the door. Is it ok if I light a candle?" Bre asked.
"Yes, of course. How could that have happened?" I asked now more scared then ever.
"I don't know it should not be possible. I left the candle on the kitchenette table I'm going to sit beside you ok?" Bre asked. I nodded. When she sat down I reached for her hands, hoping to calm us both.
"Raven, oh my Goddess Alpha proposed marriage?" Bre asked.
"Yes, just before the explosion." I told her.
"This is such wonderful news; I will keep to myself of course. Will you still keep me on as your assistant when you marry?" Bre asked.
"Well yes, we have not even started the thing I want to teach you." I told her. She wrapped her arms around me and hugged me. Then let me go.
"Sorry, over excited there. Thank you." Bre said. I laughed and hugged her back.
There was a lot of yelling that started coming from outside. Then we heard gun fire my heart dropped into my stomach, and I ran to the bathroom and locked myself in I climbed into the bathtub completely ignoring Bre who kept a trying to get me to open the door.
TITAN'S POV
I ran from Raven's room to the secret staircase. The first thing I had to do was find Bre and send her to Raven. I was lucky I found her in the main hall and took her up the stairs I unlocked the door and told her to lock it. I told Valen to stand guard over them all security system were out and the back up generates had been tampered with. When I got outside people were running everywhere. I linked the security house. To sound the alarm for people to go into lock down but got no answer. Then I heard gun fire. Fuck hunters I thought and linked everyone to be careful. Find the hunters. I got a link from the dungeon.
"Alpha, you might want to come down here the prisoners in cell three, is losing his mind he wants to see you." The guard said.
"I don't have time for this; can you not hear what is going on up here?" I said in the link
"Yes Alpha he said that he know what is going on."
"I will be right there," and closed the link.
"Lance watch you back get people inside I will be right back."
When I got to the dungeon Hal was standing there looking all smug.
"What do you want?" I yelled at him.
"If you care anything about your pack you should let me out of here. Those are my people out there come to get me." Hal said.
I turned and ran back up to the front of the pack house, what wolves use guns I thought.
I found Lance and told him what Hal had said then ran to the security house when I went in the guy were just unconscious. I was able to wake a couple of them, and they started connecting everything they could the huge light around the pack were the first to come on then they got the sirens going. Sorry Raven I said to myself she must be terrified.
I tried to link my mother but got nothing. Where was she. The Tek guys said the intruders did not know what they were doing they had just unplugged thing unlike the generators they had been destroyed. They started scanning the pack for the intruders.
We finally found them the were in camouflage outfit and each had a rifle. There were six of them. I wanted to laugh but they had guns which means they could have silver bullets. I linked Valen I needed him down here.
"Valen I'm sending Theo up I need you down here we have a visual on these guy I need you and the boys to take them out one by one."
"On my way Alpha, " Valen said and closed the link. Then I got a link from Bre.
"Alpha, sorry but when Raven heard the gun fire she locked herself in the bathroom crying hysterically and will not let me in, I don't know what to do."
"Try and link Kendra, Bre. I'm busy I can’t get there."
"Yes, Alpha, sorry" she said and closed the link. I thought about it and decided to link Kendra myself.
"Titan, do you where mother is?” she asked answering my link
"No. Listen I need you to go to Raven use your key to get in Bre will explain. Please go now." I begged
"Going, and she closed the link. Hopefully Kendra could deal with Raven.
Valen linked me.
"We have two down, don't know if we will get them all, Deisel just got another they are headed your way, we check they have silver bullets in those rifles" he said then closed the link. I kept sending people into their homes or the safe rooms. There were still to many around I could not afford for women and children to be shot. When the men in the camouflage came around the bend there was three of them. I stood my ground as they approached me and Lance. Two of the guys had their guns on us. The red light from the scope was right at my heart
"What do you want," I asked them.
"You have our Alpha we want him back?" The biggest of them said to me.
"Who are you? What are you?" I asked we now had them surrounded.
"We are the same as you Alpha, we came for Hal give him to us. We just leave may leave some of you here" he said.
"I smell no wolf in you," I told him
"He is there, he is just dormant but one day he will be a great wolf. Enough talk give us Hal. I told Lance now in our link. We dropped and shifted Valen and the others disarmed the three. I shifted back. Dungeon deep in the dungeon.
"Yes Alpha, Valen said.
I ran to my room and dressed quickly. Thank goodness they got the electricity back on.
Then ran to Ravens room.
RAVEN'S POV
I ran to the bathroom and locked myself in. I climbed i to the bathtub and covered my ear, crying had they shot Titan like they did my father.
"Raven, open the door and let me in Bre kept saying but I ignored her. I was safe here. I heard someone else come into my room. It was Kendra i could tell by her walk. Why was she her? Was she going to tell me Titan had been shot.
"Raven open the door," Kendra said.
"No, no, no, he was shot no." I yelled.
