Chapter 59 CHAPTER 59
Two males also came over the boarder they were sent to the rouge camp." I explained.
"Ok, so she knew your name, what else did she say," Raven asked.
"Remember I did not believe her, I went right to mother about it." I said
"Titan, just tell me already. Please." Raven said I could feel the anxiety building in her.
"She said she had traveled along way to find me. That she was the mate I was waiting for. When I asked her what her name was she told me Raven. I walked out of the room. Left Juno guarding the door, so she could go no where. Then went to talk to mother." Raven removed her hand from mine. Then went to stand. I touched her hand.
"Raven please don't walk away from me. She is lying it is obvious. You are my mate you are my Raven the pendent you wear tells me you are the mate bond we feel tells me you are. You said this woman was bad news she was going to say things she thinks we want to hear. My guess is she does not know you made it home." I said hoping she would listen to me. But she walked away.
"Raven, listen to Alpha Titan, even I can tell you are his mate." Valen said.
"Both of you stop please I need my book and pencil." Raven said annoyed. She came back and sat beside me with her pencil and drawing book in her lap. She took both my hands in hers I sat very still I had no idea what she was doing. After a few minutes she let them go. The opened her book and started to draw. I watched as she drew the picture of the woman in the pack hospital.
When she was done she just sat there.
"Raven, what is it?" I asked.
"I watched them kill her Titan how is this possible?" Raven said tear falling freely from her eyes.
"I don't know Raven, who is she," I asked.
"Imara, Titan she is Imara." Raven said. I took her in my arms and held her close.
"I think we will play along with her little game and see what she wants but I will make it clear she is not my mate. Mother will have the most dealings with her and you know how mother and Kendra can be." I told her.
"I don't know if I can go through all this we were just starting to become a couple." Raven said.
"We still are my love; Mother has asked me to stay away from her and for us to work on a project together. Mother and Kendra will handle her. This Imara has no idea who she is dealing with or that we know who she is. Valen you are to make sure she does not get anywhere near Raven." I said. I pulled Raven closer to me she had stopped crying now she was angry.
"We will deal with this together Raven she will not hurt you." I promised. Raven nodded and pulled me closer. Raven relaxed against me as I talked to Valen about security I wanted put on the rouge camp.
"Are you going to send her there?" Valen asked me.
"No, if we are going to go along with her little game we can't put her there. We have a few empty cottages close to the pack house we can put her in one of them. I will get the Tec guys to put cameras through out the cottage so we can keep an eye on her." I said.
"I guess I will be staying in here; I don't want to come face to face with her." Raven said.
"Don't worry love, I will avoid her as much as possible. I'm sure Mother has plans for her as well it is just bad timing the Rouge King will be back tomorrow you will be safe here Mother is going to take care of him. Then you will be able to visit with your friends," I told Raven. As I looked down the expression on her face was sad.
"What is it Raven, what is upsetting you?" I asked.
"It is nothing, like you said bad timing. I was just getting my freedom from this room now I must hide in it. While you do who knows what with Imara." Raven told me as tears started to roll down her cheeks.
"What do you think I would be doing with her, Raven? I will have as little contact with her as possible." I lifted her chin to look at her.
"I will spend most of my time here with you, I have some work that needs to be done, and I can really use your input on them. If your willing to help me?" I asked.
"Well, of course I can help. I think. I can try to. If that is what you really want?" Raven questioned.
I pulled her back into my arms and kissed her forehead.
"Always my love." I told her.
"Valen I need you to keep an eye on the elevator at all times when I'm here with Raven. Make sure no one access them that is not suppose to." I said.
"Yes, Alpha. Will you both be having dinner here this evening?" Valen asked.
"Yes, I think it is for the best right now. Have any scouts come in yet that were sent out earlier?" I asked.
"They are due back within the hour, Alpha," Valen replied.
"When dinner is ready please bring it up personally, bring yours as well. I'm sure Raven would enjoy the company." I told him.
"I will go check on the preparations and see you when dinner is ready," Valen said standing up and putting his coffee cup on the trolly and left.
"Raven, do you want to lay down for a while?" I asked.
"Yes, I think it would be a nice idea, will you lay with me?" She asked.
"Yes, if you would like me to." I told her standing to help her up, then followed her to the bed. After she laid down I laid beside her. She curled up beside me with my arm around her.
"Titan, I want to have our mating ceremony soon. Nothing big. I want to complete our bond." Raven said. This surprised me but made me happy.
"I will let Mother know." I told her.
"I'm not ready to be Luna yet though. Is that ok?" She asked.
"Yes, Raven you will be Luna, but mother will continue to do the work until you are ready to take over." I told her. I wanted the pack to accept her as their Luna and to love her as much as I did.
