Chapter 56 CHAPTER 56
"I'm glad it is working out then. It is getting late I should let you get some sleep." Titan said standing up. I reached for his hand, or you can stay and sleep with me, just cuddle and sleep?" I said softly. I held my breath I wanted to be near him but I was not ready for doing anything else yet.
"Are you sure? My head does not want to see the wall again." He laughed. I nodded. The next thing I knew he had me in his arm carrying me to the bed. With one hand he threw back the covers and gently laid me down on the bed he went and turned out the lights and then crawled in beside me pulling me close to him. He kissed me softly on the lips then laid down with me in his arms. I reached up and kissed his cheek. Then laid my head on his bare chest. I laid my arm on across his waist. Inhaling his scent as it totally relaxed me and I drifted of to sleep.
TITAN'S POV
I laid awake for a while listening to Raven slow even breathing. I felt at peace laying beside my mate. This was a big step for Raven maybe she was starting to trust me. I so wanted her to accept she was my mate the love of my life. I would do anything for her. I finally drifted off to sleep.
"Titan, where are you?" I heard in my head. It was Valen.
"What is it Valen?"
"Alpha we had three people come across our boarders last night. You need to come snd see them and decide who they are."
"Uhm, ok I'm coming. Just let me wake Raven and tell her where I'm going."
"Oh, sorry we had to disturb you Alpha."
"I will be down in fifteen minutes." I said and closed the link.
"Raven, my love I need to get up we had rogues come in last night." I said softly close to her ear.
"Good morning, be careful remember the warning." Raven said stretching and letting me get up.
"I will remember, try and go back to sleep it is early." I told her.
"No, I will get up, will you come back and have coffee when you are done?" Raven asked.
"I will try, I have a lot to do today but yes at some point I will be back and have coffee with you." I told her kissing her on her forehead. She gave me a large smile. I gently touched her cheek.
"I love seeing you smiling." I told her. Then went to my room and quickly dressed. Then went down to the dungeon to see the rouges that had drifted across our boarders. There were two men and a woman the woman look rough, had she gone through trials. Her hair was not red, but her eyes were blue I sent her to the pack hospital the men were in good shape and in good spirits I had the guards take them to the rouge compound. In a week I would send them on their way. I went to the hospital to check on the woman. I waited outside her room for Michael to come out.
"Alpha, I'm surprised to see you here, how is Raven doing?" Michael asked
"Better, she is settling in more now. What of this woman, is she one of us?" I asked.
"Hard to tell until she wakes up, she has gone through a lot of trauma. I will let you know when she wakes up could be four or five hours we had to sedate her." He told me.
"Let me know, I'm going to my office to get some work done, make sure you have enough staff on duty when this Rouge King shows back up. Oh do one more thing for me. I want a DNA test done on the woman in there." I said.
"Alpha we just can't.....”. I cut him off. Do it something Raven said about a woman coming who is not what she says she is. So just do it." I told him
"Yes Alpha, I will look for any signs of our people in her." I will let you know. It may take a couple of days." Michael said.
"Just get it done," I told him and went to my office. I really needed to get work done. But I could not go see Raven worked up like this. Instead, I had Lance meet me in the office and go over the budgets for the next month.
"The front gate linked me, Alpha, Alpha Garrison is here with his men sir." The guard told me.
"Tell Alpha Garrison to come to my office, send his men to the visitors camp." I said and closed the link. I got up and went and got out the good whiskey and three glasses. I had Just set them on my desk where there was a knock on my door.
"Come in Garrison “ I said. He came in and closed the door, I noticed he looked tired.
"Good to see you Titan, you tired. those rouges have been attacking the live stock and harassing the woman folks. I doubled the patrols which has helped. I think the are associated to that Rouge King. We came to help you fight him. Malcom and his men will be here in a few hours." He said as I poured and passed him a glass of whiskey.
"Your standing with us is appreciated my friend." I told him. We sat down with Lance and went over my mother’s plan.
RAVEN'S POV
I expected Titan to come back but he didn't. I laid in bed until Bre came in, she was all bubbly and chatty.
"Good morning Raven, I will put the coffee on. Last night I saw my room for the first time on the second floor. It is so beautiful. Thank you I will enjoy it very much. What would you like to wear today, it is going to rain all day so I don't think we can go out." Bre rambled.
"Is it going to be hot?" I asked.
"Yah, hotter then yesterday," she told me.
"Do i have a spaghetti strap top and a three-quarter length skirt?" I asked. I heard her going through the clothes.
"Flowered skirt, light blue top. Does that work?" She finally asked.
"Sounds good to me, do I own a pair of sandals?" I asked.
"Raven, yes. Don't you know what clothes you have?" Bre asked shocked.
"No Luna and Kendra bought all my clothes I was already blind." I told her.
"Kendra has really good taste in clothes. I look up to her, she is so nice to everyone."
"I like her too. I have only spent a little bit of time with her. But she is really nice." I told Bre. Bre and I went into the bathroom and half an hour later I was fully dressed and ready for the day. I went and sat on the couch and had my coffee.
"Bre, what time is it?" I asked.
