Chapter 178 178
"Is it that bad, Titan. That you already know I'm going to get angry?" She asked calmly.
I nodded my head. Then took a deep breath.
"Growing up here when humans would wonder into the pack, not the pack lands but make it to the pack they would be imprisoned in the human population it is like a dungeon but nicer a lot nicer. They have everything the could ask for but we can not let them leave and tell others about us. I never really knew what happened to them other then they had to live there. When I got older in my twenties I found out our fathers would clean out the human population but not how. Calvin and I never asked. Then we split the pack and my father scared off any humans that came close, we watched the boarders better." I told her.
"So your saying there is a whole human population lock up here; how many people are down there?" Raven asked keeping herself under control.
"When Calvin took me down there I got really pissed at him. Raven there are at least a hundred adult and about thirty children." I told her.
"Wait did you imprison children?" She asked.
"Not when I was here. But the people are not locked in cells they have rooms. I assume they have mated down there. It is a mess what am I supposed to do with them all?" I questioned putting my face in my hands.
"You can't kill then Titan if that is what you were thinking." Raven told me starting to get angry.
"We can't keep them down there; we can't release them." I told her.
"Your going to take me down there now. Tou will leave me there with Valen and Deisel." Raven said getting up.
"What are you going to do? You should not be going down there they could become violent." I said concerned for her safety.
"Actually get Lilly I want her coming with me as this will end up being her responsibility after we go home. Valen, Deisel." Raven said.
Valen came and gave Raven his arm.
"Now Titan," Raven said when I did not get up. I linked Lilly to meet us by the cottage.
When we got there she was waiting.
"Lilly you and I need to clean up a mess Calvin has made that your probably not even aware of." Raven said to her.
"I will do what ever I can do to help Luna Raven." Lilly said.
I took them to the entrance of the human population.
"Raven please reconsider going in there?" I asked.
"Titan get out of my way, go find something useful to do like spend some time with William." She said to me angrily.
I let Raven and Lilly go into the door that led to the human population Valen, Deisel and I also sent Kale to protect them if thing became violent.
RAVEN'S POV
One of the reasons I has Lilly come with me was to be my eyes. She would be able to assess the living condition and the condition of the humans. As we had walked to the human population I explained to Lilly where we are going. She like I was, had been shocked to learn about all of this. We walked through the big steel doors and down a corridor that ended at an elevator. The guard was shocked we were there.
"Take us to the human population." Lilly said.
"Yes, Beta," the guard said after debating if he should or not. We took the elevator down three floors.
"What is above this floor?" I asked.
"Storage, and supplies for the humans." The guard replied. We got off the elevator and were taken down a corridor then the guard stopped.
"We are at an observation window, Raven," Lilly said.
"We want to go inside with the people," I told the guard.
"Luna not even Alpha goes inside the population," the guard said.
"Do I need to repeat myself or are you going to take me inside?" I asked.
"Luna we have no idea what they will do if you go in there and you’re with pups," the guard said.
"Open the fucking door for us!" Lilly screamed at him. He quickly took us to a door and unlocked it. The five of us went inside.
"Excuse me, could someone please bring me a chair to sit on?" I asked. Everything became very quiet no one moved or said anything. I could feel them all staring at us.
HAWKIN'S POV
Clare had heard from Raven that Raven's brother had showed up at the pack a while back, but no one knew where her mother was. Clare had finally found her parents they now lived in the same pack as us. Clare's parents had no idea where Raven's mother could be. She told me Raven and Titan were going to Canada to visit a pack up there and that Raven was expecting twin pups. Clare and I had a wonderful relationship now the way it should have always been. It still hurt Raven would not talk to me, but that was ok Clare was happy to have her friend back.
"Hawk, are you listening to me?" Malcome asked.
"Yah, sorry. What was it you were saying about the Thompson boy?" I asked.
"What are you going to do about him bullying the other Alpha children?" He asked.
"I'm going to have to call in his father, I'm done warning the kid. He is going to get expelled." I said.
"Well, let me know when you're calling him into the school we may need security he is not the most pleasant person to be talking to I can see where the boy gets it from." He said.
"Yah, I will. But I'm done for today. I want to take Clare and the kids to the carnival and market." I said getting up from my desk.
"Have a good time sorry I had to call you in on a Saturday." Malcolm said.
"No problem, see you on Monday, remember I have to go to the council on Wednesday and Thursday next week." I told him as I left and drove home.
"Who wants to go to the carnival?" I asked as I walked into the door of our home.
"We do!" All the pups yelled coming and hugging me.
"Go change, Hawk so we can go." Clare laughed at the children. I kissed her cheek.
"I will be out in five, you all go get in the van." I told them. I quickly changed into more suitable clothes and got my money for the carnival and market.
When we parked the car I went over the rules with the pups about being around the humans. I gave the two oldest money and sent them to have fun. But to link me every half hour or they would have to stay with us.
