Chapter 101 101
"What is bothering you Alpha?" Tim asked.
I took a drink of my beer.
"Trouble is brewing Tim." I said.
"Make your own footprints Titan. When are you going to bring our beautiful new Luna down to visit with us?" He asked.
"You're coming to the wedding on Saturday?" I asked.
"Well of course. Old man Nash talks of nothing else. The ladies are all excited too. I bet the whole pack is talking about it. I best be getting a front row seat." Tim said.
"You have one Tim. Thanks’ for the beer." I told him. He reached over and touched my hand.
"Follow where your heart leads you son, and you will never go wrong. Talk to your mate. Work together and stand united. Together there is nothing you can't accomplish." Tim said then got up and walked inside the home he shared with his best friend Nash. I had to smile. I needed to come visit the elders more. I put my empty beer bottle away then headed back to the pack house. I always felt better talking to Tim or Nash. They were the two oldest men in the pack. When I went into the office Raven was awake and drawing. I kissed the top of her head and went to my desk. I hoped she sensed I was there; she was usually in another zone when drawing in her books. I took out my phone and sent a text to Garrison.
"Got a surprise delivery today, with one dead one may not make it and two small children. With a threatening note." It was not long before he texted back.
"Call?"
"No, Raven is in the room she does not know. Where can we meet?"
"Old diner on 45 it is about halfway between us?"
"Yah, I know the place I will text when I'm leaving."
"I will wait for your text."
I put my phone away. When I looked up Raven was done.
"Is everything ok?" She asked.
"Yes, Garrison wants to meet up with me about something. How was your nap?" I asked. Raven was frowning and held out the book to me.
"I don't understand this Titan; can you tell me why this is happening?" She asked. I got up put my phone in my pocket and went over sitting down I took the book and looked at the picture. I closed my eyes. My heart sank. I hoped she could not feel my despair.
"That is a lot of buildings burning, but I can’t tell where it is. Do you have any ideas from drawing it?" I asked.
"It is strange it feels like it is from the past yet in the future. I dreamt I was caught in a fire and could not get out. Yet the fire was like in a different time and I was seeing it through someone else’s eyes. I woke up and drew it. This has left me confused." Raven said.
"Yes, I agree it is confusing." I told her.
"Titan, when do you drink beer?" She asked.
"While you were sleeping I went for a walk to see the elders; I always have a beer with Tim when I go to visit. He is looking forward to the wedding. He said all the elders are. I hope mother put them in the front row." I told her.
"How old is he?" Raven asked.
"Tim and Nash were born two days apart they share the same house now. I'm pretty sure they are pushing two hundred." I told her.
"So they survived the destruction of the pack?" She asked.
"Barely, both were injured badly. When they healed they helped started to rebuild everything I look up to them they are Stronge men with good hearts. They are very wise and have given me good advice over the years. They are very excited to meet their new Luna." I told her with pride in my voice.
"I look forward to meeting them too. Will they be at the wedding?" Raven asked.
"Yes, Tim said he better have a front row seat." I laughed.
"Well they sound wonderful; I look forward to meeting the elders of the pack." She said smiling."
There was a knock at the door as we sat there.
"Come" I said.
"Sorry to bother you Alpha, Good afternoon Luna." Theo said. Then linked me.
"The human in the dungeon is screaming and yelling to see you. He will not stop. Alpha."
He closed the link.
"Is there something you needed Theo?" I asked.
"Just wanted to tell you we took care of what you requested earlier." Theo said.
"Thank you Theo, I will see you shortly." I said dismissing him."
"Yes, Alpha, Luna you look well rested, I will see you later." He said and left. Raven crossed her arms over her chest.
"Would you like to tell me what that was really about?" She asked annoyed. I sighed.
"A truck delivered some of our people here while you were sleeping before I went to see Tim. The driver was human. He is in the dungeon screaming he wants to see me." I told her.
"Are they hurt? Where are they?" Raven asked concerned.
"We don't know if the woman will live both children are fine. Just scared." I told her.
"What can I do to help?" She asked.
"Nothing right now they will stay at the hospital for now. Under no circumstances are you to go near the dungeon. Do you understand me Raven." I asked.
"I would not want to ever go back down there my concern was for the woman and children." Raven said.
"Sorry my love, down there is no place for you to be. I overreact." I said quietly.
"I understand, " she said and reached for my face and kissed my cheek.
"Can you have Bre bring me lunch please, I very hungry today." She asked.
"Yes of course." I said getting up I will not be long. Valen is just outside the door if you need anything. I left the office and linked Valen. Do not let Raven come to the Dungeon. Then closed the link.
GARRISON'S POV
I was disturbed by Titan text. This was not how Hunter worked and Morris would not make a move unless Hunter told him to. Who else was In volved I had no idea. But someone was sending him a message. It was two hours before Titan send me a text he was leaving. I went down and got out my car. I thought it would be best to have no witnesses to this meeting. After forty-five minutes I pulled into the diner and parked my car in the back. When I went in Titan was already there drinking coffee. I slid into the booth across from him as the waitress came over.
"What can I get you to drink, honey?" She said.
"Coffee please," I told her. She was back quickly with the coffee and two menu's.
"Just wave to me when you want to order" she said and walked to the other side of the diner where she started chatting up a couple of women.
