Chapter 59 Hospital

Chapter 59 Hospital
Elena’s POV

I was hoping to see Liam when I woke up but he had left.

I felt so much better after sleeping.

I got up to use the restroom. I looked around and knew Liam had gotten me a VIP room because it was so big.

I walked into the restroom and saw a bathtub, that made me happy at least I could take my bath.

I was done and went back to bed.I was so bored.

Then I heard the door open and a young man with green eyes like Sarah walked into the room.

“Ah you are awake, he said as he closed the door. “That’s good.”

I probably looked confused. “I’m your doctor, Doctor Julian. Forgive the outfit, I’m just coming back from seeing my family.”

“Oh,” I said.

“I would like to examine you one again, so please lay down,” he said as he opened his bag and brought out his coat.

I laid down as he examined me.“Are you feeling any pains in your body?” he said when he finished.

“No, but I was having a bad headache earlier.”

“Just today?”

“Well no, I get them sometimes but…” “Hmm, I will get you some drugs for that.”

“Thank you and can you keep this between us?” I didn’t want Liam to know that I was struggling with my headaches.

“Of course, I never tell on my patients,” he smiled as he put my report down.

“Doctor, do you know anything about a patient that also came here with me? Her name is Ashley.”

“I’m not sure, but I could ask around,” he said.

“Thank you Doctor,” I said and he left the room.

I felt happy knowing I was going to head back home.

I got out of bed and opened the door and saw two huge men standing outside.

“Good day Luna,” they said.I gave them a small smile.

“Hello.”

I went back into my room.

How was I going to search for Ashley now? I thought.

I sat on my bed.

I looked around for my phone to keep me busy but it wasn’t there.

“Ugh,” I sighed as I gave up. I was going to die from boredom.

A knock came from outside and I stood up immediately.

A small woman who was a nurse entered.

“Good afternoon Luna,” she smiled.

I didn’t even recognize her but she still knew me.

“Do I know you?”

“No, it’s just that Alpha Liam is really popular and well everyone knows about his lost mate so,” she looked nervously now.

“It’s okay, it’s nice to meet you….”

“My name is Anna,” she smiled widely.

“Nice to meet you Anna,” I said.

She gave me a bag.

“It’s your belongings, Doctor Julian said you are free to go.”

I was so happy to hear her say that.

“Thank you but can you help me with something?”

“Anything,” she said immediately.

“Could we swap clothes?” I said with the best smile I had.

“I don’t understand,” she said and she definitely looked confused.

“Well it’s just that, I need to see someone, my sister and she’s in a bad condition here at the hospital. I just need to make sure she is okay.”

Anna looked like she was about to refuse. “Please, I just need this one favor.”

“Okay, but I really don’t want to get into trouble with Alpha Liam.”

“And you won’t because he won’t find out.” I said, hoping I could convince her.

“Okay then.”

Some minutes later I was in her nurse clothes and Anna was in my hospital gown.

She kept playing with her dress and it was making me nervous too.

“It’s going to be fine, just lay down and face that way until I get back.”

She nodded and I walked to the door.

I took a deep breath as I opened it.

I walked past the two guards and they didn’t stop me.

I kept moving until I was in the hallway.

I looked around trying to find my way to Ashley’s room but it was no use.

I decided I had to ask the lady at the desk.

“Hello, I need to see a patient.” The lady looked up and stared at me.

“I don’t think I have seen you here,” she said.

“Oh, well that’s because I’m new, just started today,” I lied.

“Hmm, okay,” she looked back at her computer. “Patient’s name?”

“Ashley Stone.”

“Emergency ward, room 302,” she said.

“Thank you,” I hurried away before she could ask me any more questions.

I searched the hospital until I finally found the sign for the emergency room.

I looked for Ashley’s room and finally saw it.

I opened the door immediately and saw my sister lying unconscious with some things stuck to her body.

I moved slowly until I was standing in front of her.

“Ashley?” I held back a sob. “It’s Elena, I’m here.”

I held her hand and it was cold. I remember Liam saying that she was getting better but she looked so small that I wondered how she looked before.

“I’m sorry I dragged you into this mess, it’s my fault you are here. We should have just stayed in the pack.”

I rested my head on her hand as I cried and prayed that she would not hate me for putting her in danger.

“Elena?” I looked up and saw Ashley staring at me.

“Oh thank the Goddess, you are awake.”

“What happened? Where am I and why are you wearing that?”

I laughed as I wiped my tears. “It’s a long story.”

“I feel like shit,” she groaned as she tried to move.

“Stay still, you are—,” I said.

The door opened and I saw the last people I would have ever wanted to see in life.

Mr and Mrs Stone.

They looked shocked and then Mrs Stone said.

“What is she doing here?”

I was about to give her a good comeback until I heard my name.

“How could you let her leave the room? Elena?” Liam shouted from outside.

He walked into the room and saw me and he looked relieved until he looked angry again.

I was in so much trouble now.
