"Bring in the weapons." He ordered.
I nodded and motioned for a guard who wheeled in a table, the table was set before Alaric and it was covered, the elder boldly walked towards Alaric and slapped him, I drawed out my sword from it's sheath but Alaric motioned to me to stop.
"Shame on you! You think I'm scared of you uh? Never! I watched you grow so you don't scare me, you may be rumored to be callous and devilish but I don't care!" The elder yelled.
Alaric chuckled.
"You dare to betray your pack? Why?" Alaric asked calmly.
"Why? Because you're a weak person, you don't deserve to be the alpha, you barely survived a mere attack, how can a weakling you rule?" Timothy bellowed.
"Is that why you decided to waste innocent lives?" Alaric queried.
"Yes." Timothy affirmed.
"I've been dead for five hundred years, do you think a little attack would kill me?" Alaric asked.
"You foolishly died for a whore back then, you..." Timothy was saying when Alaric punched him and broke his nose.
His nose began to bleed profusely and Alaric held him by the neck.
"You can ridicule me for as long as you want but don't you ever refer to my mate as a whore, you watched me grow isn't it? Now you watch the boy you watch grow kill you." Alaric said venomously.
The elder had riled him and there was no going back, I initially thought Alaric had gone soft but not he didn't, he just hid his true colors, he walked to the table and uncovered the weapons, it was all sort of torture tools, ones who will make one beg for death, he took the tongue twister from it.
"Hold him down and open his mouth." Alaric commanded.
Timothy was held down and his mouth was forcefully opened, Alric took the twister and placed Timothy's tongue in it and with one pull, he brought out his tongue, blood gushed out of Timothy's tongue and he groaned in pain, Alric tossed the tongue away, took an electrifier and inserted it in Timothy's mouth, the poor man couldn't resist or shout, his mouth was roasted.
Alaric returned the electrifier to it's original position and cleaned off the blood stains from his hands.
"I'm not done with you yet Timothy, you'll.die a slow and painful death, just like all traitors would." He announced.
He walked out of the cell and stopped halfway.
"Ah yes, feed him with only peppery food, shove it down his throat if necessary." Alaric commanded.
We left the place and he took a bath, his mate came visiting hours later and he pampered her and if anyone saw him at that moment, they would never believe he was capable of hurting a fly, I smiled to myself, he was heartless when he needed to, the perfect handsome and angelic devil.
Torin's Pov
I sighed as I watched Kayla from afar, even the heavens know how much I care about her but I had to lie that I didn't love her and break her heart, she's human, an innocent one and I am a cursed creature, her life would be ruined if I chose to be selfish and keep her for myself, not everyone couldn be as lucky as Chelsea and Alaric, my fate was to suffer heartbreak and die a lonely wolf.
I got carried away and began to caress her picture that was on my phone, I began to walk mindlessly around without looking up, I bumped into someone and heard a familiar voice apologise to me.
"I'm sorry." The voice said.
I raised my head to see the person who invaded my dreams all night standing right in front of me, she was as beautiful as ever.
"Torin? You? What are you doing here?" She asked me.
I wanted to tell her I was just looking at her, I desperately wished to kiss her and make her mine but I knew I would be digging her grave if I did so, I've stepped on too many toes already, so I frowned to pretend I was displeased to see her and tried to walk away, she stopped me.
"Torin, I just want to say that you don't need to avoid me any longer, I've gotten over you and have no feelings whatsoever for you, I hope we will see each other in the future and say hi, have a nice day." She said.
I felt my heart shatter into pieces, she was no longer in love with me.
"Good for you." I remarked snidely and left.
I heard her sigh as I walked away, I got to the men's restroom and for the first time ever, I cried out loud, I felt like dying, she was the only woman who truthfully loved me and now I'd lost her, to the world and the unknown, she's gone.
Unknown Pov
I sneaked into the dungeon and called on Elder Timothy, I had bribed one of the guards with a hefty sum and gecw I was allowed in here for ten minutes before the day breaks.
"Psst, elder!" I called him.
I saw him stir in his sleep and I threw a stone at him, he immediately woke up and saw I was calling him, he hurried to me and we held hands through the open spaces in the iron bar.
"How are you, I'll get you out of here soon, I promise." I said to him but he didn't respond.
I was confused and almost angry until he opened his mouth, I could only see pitch black darkness and didn't understand and then it dawned on me that he was tongueless, tears rolled down my cheek.
"Alpha Alaric did this to you?" I asked.
He nodded his head, I held his hand tighter.
"I swear I'll bring you his head and make those who he care about die in his presence, I'll make the rest of his life a misery, I'll get justice for you and avenge you." I swore to him.
He patted my hand and nodded to show he agreed with me, I touch his face and so saw that a part of it was burnt, I was furious, the guard came to tell me my time was up.
"I'll avenge you!" I told the elder one last time before I left.
