Callan's POV
We just finished one of our classes and Chelsea comaimed she was hungry, I suggested we go to a nearby cafeteria and she agreed, Kayla meets us there and we all ordered for food.
"Can I have another serving please?" Chelsea requested.
Kayla and I burst into laughter, she was confused.
"What's wrong? What happened?" She asked.
"Girl! You're a foodie, you're eating the fourth serving in one sitting, you need to stop eating.like.thetes no tomorrow." Kayla teased.
Chelsea laughed and continued stuffing her mouth with food, she choked on it and we laughed at her, she loved eating excessively, I was glad I met her few months ago and Kayla too, over the months, we've bonded and got along quite well.
"Chelsea, you're eating like a pregnant woman." I teased her.
She suddenly spat out the water she was drinking on my face, I stopped eating and froze, I hate dirt and she knew it, she cleaned my face with a napkin and Kayla couldn't stop making jest of me.
"Why did you spill the water on me? It was intentional right?" I asked, picking a fight with her.
"No it wasn't." She denied the allegations.
"Why would she do that?" Kayla sided her.
"Kayla, she only spat out the water when I asked did she was pregnant." I said and winked at Kayla.
Kayla seemed to get the message and abandoned her food.
"That's true, why was your reaction to been pregnant that weird?" Kayla asked, adding fuel to the fire.
Chelsea laughed nervously.
"What do you two mean uhn? There's nothing wrong with my reaction." She said and laughed nervously.
"There's no way you'd get pregnant unless you are involved in some snu snu activities." I said, wriggling my eyebrows.
"Alaric isn't doing anything of such nature, I trust him." Kayla mocked.
"Besides, there's no way she's pregnant, our cycles are synched, I've seen mine this month, she should have seen hers too, isn't it Chelsea?" Kayla added.
"Wait, you've seen yours? I haven't seen mine since last month, am I pregnant?" She panicked.
"Silly girl! You're on your period!" Kayla reminded her.
She avoided our gaze and looked elsewhere, Kayla and I looked at each other and burst into laughter, she was embarrassed when she realized we were simply teasing her, the poor girl was scared she was pregnant, she poured the remanant of the water on us and we ran out of the cafeteria and left her there to pay the bills.

"Have you gotten the information we need?" The mistress asked me.
"Yes mistress." I replied.
She laughed mirthlessly.
"Have you gotten close enough to her?" She asked again.
"Yes mistress, exactly as you said.
"Does she suspect you of anything?"
"No mistress, she doesn't."
"When do you think would be the right time to strike?"
"As soon as possible but just a little more, she's seldom alone these days, I have to warm my way into her heart and make her feel indebted to me, only then will she trust me enough to follow me willingly here."
"How long will that take? I'm impatient!" A man said.
"Silence!" The mistress ordered and they all trembled
"I have given the mission to whom I deem fit, no one will tell me what to do." She added.
I smiled, knowing that I'm been burdened with such a huge responsibility.
"Come my child." She beckoned to me.
I stood up and went to her, she placed her arm on my shoulder and made me look her in the eye, she was the most beautiful woman I've ever set my eyes on.
"This is important to us all, you've been chosen to bring back life to us all, don't fail us, we count on you, may the gods be with you." She said briefly.
"Amen, it is an honor to do this." I proudly said.
"Yes, an honor it is, you will be rewarded handsomely if your successful, there is no room for excuses or failure, your life is the Ultimate price." She warned.
"Yes." I agreed.
"It is done." She said and exited, with everyone else except me staying behind.
I crackled devilishly.
"They wouldn't know what hit them."

Cain's Pov
"Alaric, everything is ready." I said to Alaric.
He's fine now and healed successfully thanks to his mate, I'm happy he finally got the happiness he deserves, he's been through alot already, Elder Timothy was still Imprisoned at his order and Alaric decided to pay him and other traitors whom we caught a visit.
"Very well, let's go." Alaric said.
I nodded and lead the way, we went to the underground dungeon below the mansion, this is where hardened criminals were kept and tortured, cries of pain and agony can be heard as we descended the stairs and headed straight to the traitor's cell.
Alaric grimaced as he stepped into the cell, Elder Timothy shivered as Alaric moved closer to him.
"Don't run away from me Timothy." Alaric said calmly.
The elder spat on Alaric who simply smiled and wiped it away, he turned to face me.
"Bring in the weapons." He ordered.
I nodded and motioned for a guard who wheeled in a table, the table was set before Alaric and it was covered, the elder boldly walked towards Alaric and slapped him, I drawed out my sword from it's sheath but Alaric motioned to me to stop.
"Shame on you! You think I'm scared of you uh? Never! I watched you grow so you don't scare me, you may be rumored to be callous and devilish but I don't care!" The elder yelled.
Alaric chuckled.
"You dare to betray your pack? Why?" Alaric asked calmly.
"Why? Because you're a weak person, you don't deserve to be the alpha, you barely survived a mere attack, how can a weakling you rule?" Timothy bellowed.
"Is that why you decided to waste innocent lives?" Alaric queried.
"Yes." Timothy affirmed.
"I've been dead for five hundred years, do you think a little attack would kill me?" Alaric asked.
"You foolishly died for a whore back then, you..." Timothy was saying when Alaric punched him and broke his nose.
