Chapter 30: Identity Revealed
~Seth
“Just what the hell was that dude? Nice moves with your chika babe.” Raynel exclaimed as we walked out of our room. He slapped my back shoulders. I glared at him, but he just kept ranting about why the hell I hadn't told them about my plan earlier.
On the other hand, Axthon walks silently, as if something bothers him. I ignored both of them, tucked my hands into my pockets, and walked straight into the parking lot. It's been a while since Tricia walked out, despite the fact that we both finished our exams at the same time.
She finishes the exam with one hundred items in thirty minutes, a witty woman I must say.
I remembered Tricia's face a while ago, and it was priceless, even though her face was completely covered with those shits on her face.
I know she noticed my sudden strange behavior toward her after that bloody engagement, and even I have no idea how I could do such things to a woman.
But I need to learn something useful about her long-lost twin, who unfortunately duped me, and I don't know if she remembers anything about it. Damn! I'll never forget what that evil woman did to me, and I swear to hell she'll pay dearly for it. Nobody messes with me without getting what they deserve.
To be honest, I also enjoy seeing Tricia’s face every time I’m messing around with her, the way her face cringe and reddened when she gets mad at me.
When I kissed her, I felt something inside me that I couldn't explain, but hell! I'm not sure what that's all about. Maybe I was just imagining things.
Hell! When did I start thinking like that about one woman?
We finally arrived at the parking lot, and I unlocked my car, which was parked next to Tricia's car.
I'm curious where she is now. Fuck! Here we go again.
I saw Axthon stop in front of her car then pick up something
"Doesn't Tricia own this?" He asked, holding up a car key and a pair of sunglasses similar to the ones she was wearing this morning.
Why would she drop that together with her key? She mentioned that she had sore eyes. Did she have an asthma attack?
I rush into her car, only to find that it was open, indicating that something is wrong here. I turned to Raynel, knowing that there is CCTV attached somewhere in this area.
"Raynel, can you hack the CCTV here and see what happened?" When I told him to, he immediately took his phone and handed it to me.
I saw Tricia walking to her car, unlocking it with her key button, and about to open it when she noticed a man approaching from behind her, wearing a bonnet that concealed his identity.
Tricia was completely unaware of his presence.
He was looking around, as if checking to see if anyone else was there, then he was covering Tricia's face with a handkerchief in his hand. He catches her and hoists her up onto his shoulder like a sack of rice.
"Fuck!" The only word that came out of my mouth after seeing the footage, it's a good thing she didn't drop her bag. I'm hoping she had her phone on her. I dashed back to my car, but before I could get in, Axthon called me.
"Seth we're coming with you!"
"No, stay here and don't even try to follow me. I'll handle it myself." I stated before thrusting myself and starting the engine, I know they will do as I say.
“Seth, go save your damsel in distress!” I could hear Raynel's voice above the sound of the car engine.
I use GPS to track Tricia's phone. A red blinking dot indicates her location. I followed it with my car at full speed through the city, and a minute later the city part faded away.
I swerve onto a deserted road, and the landscape begins to change. At the end of it, there was an old barn that appeared to have been abandoned for a long time. I pull over behind a large tree nearby and check my GPS to make sure I'm in the right place. Fortunately, it directed me here.
I immediately went down and circled the entire area. No one was watching outside, but voices could be heard inside.
I immediately went down and circled the entire area; no one was watching outside, but voices could be heard inside. I approached and pressed my ear against the wall to hear what they were saying clearly.
“Dude, is this really the right woman you took? Maybe you just made a mistake?” The voice of a man inquires. I can't see what they're doing inside or whether Tricia is okay.
“Isn't that the daughter of the Willsmith Empire's owner and heir? Her description coincides to the image.” A different man's voice responded.
"Have you contacted the boss yet?"
According to what I've heard, there were at least three of them, but I'm sure there were many more inside.
It has been confirmed that she's really present. They were discussing Willsmith's heir, and she is the Willsmiths' sole heiress.
I kept my ears closed against the wall, and this time I could hear other voices, but I didn't bother to listen.
Who in hell wants to kidnap her, by the way? Is this some sort of ransom kidnapping syndicate? I'm hoping she doesn't become traumatized as a result of this kidnapping bullshit. I know she went through it ten years ago.
I considered crashing through the door, but that wasn't a good idea. Not because I couldn't take them all, but because they might hurt her.
I looked around for a place where I could sneak in without being noticed by them. I gently pressed my palm against the wooden wall, looking for a weaker spot that I could easily tear.
Since this is an old barn, the wall must not be too thick. I keep doing it for a minute or so until I press something soft. I poked a small hole with my index finger to see what was going on inside.
Because it was in the back, no one was there, so I enlarged the hole until it fit my entire body.
When I first walked in, the place was covered in a thick layer of dust, with haystacks scattered all over the ground and cobwebs hanging from every corner.
I quickly search for Tricia as quietly as I can, not minding the place, but I'm worried that her asthma will worsen while she's in here. I hope her mask didn't fall off.
I heard something approaching, saw a barrel lined up on the side, and immediately hid there. I noticed a man with a gun slung across his arm. I was silently tailing him, hiding in every place I could think of.
Tricia was sitting on a wooden single chair with her hands tied behind her back, but her feet were untied. She simply bowed down, her face hidden behind her hair, with no indication that she had awoken. She's being guarded by six men, including the one I've been following, but only one of them has a gun.
The man with the gun approached her and hooked her chin, drawing her face upwards, her mask still intact, and she was not blindfolded.
I was about to emerge from my hiding haystack when what happened next astounded me.
She erupted in laughter. As if everything that had happened to her was a joke.
“Fools!”
She uttered a lethal tone before slamming her head into him, catching him off guard, and then kicking his groin, causing him to fall.
How in the world had she done that?! She stands up because they haven't tied her feet and the chair is still stuck on her back. She docked and swung the chair to the guy who attacked her and tried to punch her in the face, while kicking the other guy who tried to strangle her.
She rolled over to the other men, quickly hitting his abdomen with the chair, then letting herself fall with it, landing on the man's feet and yanking her head backwards, batting his forehead.
She stood up and kicked the one behind her, then dashed to the other one, who began to gain consciousness, causing the chair on her back to break, and the tie to loosen, freeing her hands.
She grabs a broken chair piece and stabs it directly into his chest, ending his life, and she jumps on the last man standing, wrapping her legs around his neck and twisting it until it breaks.
I notice she didn't even open her eyes once. She did all of it with her eyes close.
I just stare at her as she stands facing me, she’s not even bothering to open up her eyes.
My gaze was drawn to the men who were now all lying on the ground lifeless. I didn't make a move because my mind was still processing everything that had just happened.
How did a bloody fucking asthmatic girl do that? Is this a dream, or are my eyes playing tricks on me? The first time I saw her on that Black Forest in the university, I knew there was something special about her.
Is this how she avoids the shuriken I throw at her? Still dumbfounded, someone came in to my barn, but this time it was a woman.
"What the hell just happened here, and what the hell did you do?" She smashed through the door, but I can't see her because Tricia is blocking my view of her.
She grabs Tricia's hair, but it falls off, revealing a bright violet hair, and this time she snaps her eyes open, causing my mouth to hang open.
Violet dragon eyes.
