I crawl under my blanket and fumble with my phone on the side table, pressing the answer button without looking at the caller.

"Hello?" I asked, drowsily, without opening my eyes.

"Tricia! Where are you? Did you forget that we have a major subject exam today?!” That yanked me away from my slumber and threw me out of my comfortable bed.

Shit! I over slept again!

"Jaffy?" I asked, even though I already knew it was him, as I looked at the clock on my table. Shit! It is 7:06 a. m.

“Yah! Tricia! Don't tell me you just woke up, girl. Professor will start the exam in ten minutes." Jaffy said as he hung up the phone.

Great, I forgot I had major exams today. I jumped out of bed and dashed to the bathroom. I took a brief shower. And when I say very quickly, I mean it. I'm done in less than two minutes.

Everything that happened last night came flooding back to me, fuck! I just left Kiro with Henna last night.

I'm hoping the pirate hasn't awakened yet!

I dress in my usual skirt and long sleeves, but instead of converse, I put on my doll shoes, grab my mask, and secure my wig on my head. I went downstairs and directly to the garage. Aunt Nelia even called out to me, but I ignored her. She'll only berate me for not eating breakfast.

I arrived at Hill University in less than ten minutes. I slammed on the brakes and jumped out of my car. I took my bag pack from the passenger seat, but I noticed my reflection in the side mirror. I checked my face again to make sure I wasn't imagining it.

FUCKING HELL!

I forget to wear my contacts, shit!

I slap my head and curse myself repeatedly as I dig through my bag for something to cover my eyes. Thank goodness I remembered to bring my tinted sun glasses.

I took it out right away and looked around to see if anyone spotted me, sighed, and there was no one in the parking lot. I walked quickly to the Education Department, thumping my feet on the ground.

"Why are you wearing shades?" Someone suddenly whispered in my ear from behind, making my soul nearly left my body.

Fuck! Why haven't I felt him approaching? Where the hell did he come from? I swear I haven’t seen him while ago. Did he saw my eyes?

“Fuck you, Seth! You're giving me a heart attack!” I snarled at him, clutching my chest, and my heart began to beat abnormally fast again. I'm not sure if it was because I was surprised by what he did or because he was close to me again. Shit!

I turn to face him.

He was about to remove my sunglasses when I smacked his hands away.

"Don't you dare take my shades if you don't want sore eyes!" I warned him, rolling my eyes when he shrugged his shoulder, and I saw the time on his wristwatch.

I am very late.

I quickly turn my back on him and begin walking, but he grabs my hand and places a folded piece of paper on my palm. I look at him, confused, but he doesn't respond and simply passes me. What the hell is this shit? Curiously, I open it:

'MAGIC CODE'

-Seth, please accept my apologies for what I did. I swear I'll never do it again, and I'll be a good fiancée to you.-

While reading it, I laugh at myself. That guy must be insane, but I'm not going to tell him that! No way, so I tore it and tossed it somewhere. I'll never be sorry for kneeling over his priceless jewel.

We're even. He kissed me, and that's what he gets for it.

"Hey what's going on here?" I asked the man in the black polo shirt sitting on the stairs why there were so many people blocking our department's lobby. It was nearly impossible to stick a needle in the area. It was too cramped.

I'm fucking late!

The guy just looked at me and walked away, as if he didn't understand what I was saying.

"Uhm, please excuse me. I'm running late." I addressed the people in front of me, but they ignored me. What the fuck is going on here? I take a deep breath and then shout at the top of my lungs.

“PLEASE EXCUSE ME! I'M GOING TO BE LATE FOR MY EXAM!” My voice echoed around the room, and it appears that I had their full attention because they fell silent and looked at me.

I sighed and walked in, but they again blocked my path.

What the?

"Magic code." They chant in unison, magic code? And when was there ever a magi — fuck that shit he gave me.

No way, I'm not going to say that. But what about my test?

That man has guts! How could he have done this to me?

I tried to pass them, but I failed because so many of them blocking my way. If I had brought a katana now, I could have easily passed.

I don't seem to have a choice. I still have my exam to take, and that's more important than my ego, I sigh deeply. Okay here we go.

“Seth, please accept my apologies for what I did. I promise not to do it again, and I will be a good fiancée to you.” I mumbled, lowering my head. They didn't respond, so I looked at them. They had remained in front of me.

Tricia, try not to mumble.

“Seth, please accept my apologies for what I did. I promise not to do it again, and I will be a good fiancée to you.” I said it as loudly as I could, allowing everyone to hear me.

They left right away, clearing the lobby as if nothing had happened. I shook my head in disbelief before sprinting to my fourth-floor class.

Hell! Good luck to me.

When I walked into our classroom, I opened the door without even daring to knock. I was about to say, 'Good Morning,' but my professor beat me to it. He's sitting on his desk, concentrating on his laptop.

“Ms. Willsmith, you are one hour late.” Prof. Garry said this without looking at me, knowing exactly which of his student is always late.

I already have a new title, Queen of Tardiness.

Tsk.

He just kept typing on his laptop as if he I wasn’t standing in front of him. I look at my wristwatch and see that it's 8:00 a. m., fuck!

I sigh, I guess I'll have to take a special exam on this subject.

Gosh! Specials are even more difficult. Great, very great. I turned away from him and was about to leave when he spoke again, causing me to come to a halt.

"You can still take the exam. You only have half an hour."

Really? Yes, I was going to come in, but I thanked him and he cut me off.

“Unless you say the Magic code."

WHAT THE HELL?! The heck? Did he really drag our Prof in this nonsense? How did he even manage to convince Prof Garry to join this bullshit?

I look at Seth, who is sitting in the very back, wearing a victorious smirk and staring at me.

I'd give anything to wipe that grin off his face.

Seth Sciryl Socherberg, your day will come. That I swear on my name.

”Seth, please accept my apologies for what I did. I promise I won't do it again, and I promise to be a good fiancée to you.” I sighed as I heard my classmates gasp and start murmuring.

FUCK ALL OF YOU!

“Here is your exam paper.” Prof. Garry handed me the paper before returning his focus to his laptop. I took it and proceeded to the vacant seat, which happened to be right next to Seth.

"I told you you'd pay for what you've done." He said it loud enough for me to hear while I was taking a seat.

“GO TO HELL!” I respond by gritting my teeth.

“Stop talking to your seatmate.” Prof warns, and I saw Seth smirk in my peripheral vision, damn him.

I took out my pen and start answering.

We don't have any classes after the exam for the rest of the day, so I'm going to my hotel, where I still have some work to do.

And guess what else?

I'm late, but I'm the first to pass the paper, or should I say Seth and I both did.

Tsk.

I'm now standing in front of my car in the parking lot. I took out my key and pressed the button to unlock the door, but I felt someone approaching me from behind. I'm pretty sure it's not Seth this time.

I pretended I didn't know anything and was about to open my car door when he suddenly covered my nose with a handkerchief.

I knew the handkerchief was laced with sleeping powder, so I pretended to pass out.

What a fool.

He really thought I'd be affected by such a stupid trick. Didn’t he didn't notice I was wearing a mask?

Tsk.

He caught me before my body hit the ground, and I accidentally dropped my sunglasses. Fuck not my shades!

I didn't have my contact lenses with me. I also dropped my keys.

I just closed my eyes as he lifted and hoisted me on his shoulders.

The hell with this kidnapping bullshit!

Who is this idiot?
