Chapter 17: 17: I did it!

It was evening already like the day ran together with my agenda for it which seemed fast even if i didn't really get to do anything.

My eyes were partially closed as I lay straight on my bed breathing slowly, I felt like I might die but death wasn't in my mind or my pocket list.

I turned around swiftly to see the door still closed before letting out a sign and then turned around again.

'where would Derek be by now...what would he be thinking of, maybe to do next?' I thought as I turned around again on my bed which kept me company.

There were divers kind of thoughts in my head but that one of Derek won't just leave me mind or my head either.

The bed suddenly felt hard beneath my body which made my turning from side to side even frustrating.

I sat up on my bed with a rush, breathing really heavy as I stared directly to the open window...my favorite spot in the room.

The soft curtains were sent flying around the window as the breeze that came in with an average force threatened to pull them off the curtains holder on the wall.

I felt a bit of calmness in my nerves and immediately decided to lay down back gently, placing my both hands on my chest as I stared up to the ceiling in silence.

The silence in the room made me felt like there was someone or something watching me which wasn't so after I took a good look round the room while lying.... maybe it's just my head.

I closed my eyes tight and took a deep breath and continued lying in silence as I listened to my breathing....I couldn't hear my breathing anymore.

The flash of light from the window awoke me more like rudely than suddenly.

I rolled on the bed before stretching like a chick and then decided to come down to start another day in my princess prison.

"Good morning luna Elena!" Alice's voice said from the doorway, u turned towards the door and noticed that it has been open and Alice stood by it.

I looked at her with a dull face nit being sure if what to say or how to feel sitting quietly in the bed as I fixed my gaze at her.

"It is I .. ALICE!" she said in a high pitch with a bright smile on her face as she widened her arms abit.

"I brought your food, hope you are ok" she said before walking into the room gently, putting her both hands down.. looking like she lost a match.

It was obvious that Alice had something this morning against me, but I don't have any clue yet....she seen to be abit too nicer today.

She came close to me in the bed where I was still sitting as she said something to my hearing.

"σε βλέπω" she said smiling again as usual as it recalled to me that I heard those exact same words yesterday from her.

I wanted to react to it so bad and maybe tell her I heard her say something like this a yesterday, but I couldn't just find the right words or even the right reaction for it.

"What does it mean?" I asked laughing alittle as I looked at her in hidden confusion that wasn't showing on my face.

"It means, Good morning Moon goddess" she said with a smile as she took a very slight bow and then flashed me her complete set of teeth in position of a smile.

"I need to prepare myself something to eat, it seem like days after I had anything to eat"I said that her without actually looking her way but could still see her.

"Ohhhh, I never thought of that" I said nodding slowly and gently as I wonder led what it could really mean.

Alice had an unpleasant and disturbing facial expression and body language that made me alert but I decided to play cool.

I smirked and helped myself up to find my way to the kitchen as I was almost dieing of hunger which is literally every morning.

Immediately I stood up, something else stroke my mind which had being better off not remembering as a time lie this.

' I haven't taken my bath yet and my teeth and definitely not washed either.

I dashed into the bathroom and came out in no time, I was done bathing before rushing to the wardrobe to put in a casual.

'is she not going to be fed up of watching me every now and then even up to putting on my clothes.

She followed after me as we found a topic to start discussing about as we walked towards the kitchen.

"It's abit weird to know all the path around here" I said looking at the doors of some other rooms as we walked by.

I got into the kitchen and everything about her was out of my mind as she found a space to sit while I embarked on the reason for entering at first.

I brought out the needed item as I began to cook fried rice..African fried rice to be presides.

The rice was 101%in my mind out of 100% but so as the silence that was between us both.

It didn't feel too nice nor safe either so I decided to keep the conversation going...even it most of it was just made up.

"So..you like fried rice?" I asked not feel sure that the what to say anymore.

"I dreamt about cooking in a carten and all of that you know" I said looking at Alice in a low tone of voice as I waited for her response.

"Do you feel anything odd or different aside this?" She said immediately making me want to run away almost immediately.

I heard that you lost your memory...do you still remember anything about yourself?" She asked looking ate with full attention.

Oh.

I bet she wants to know about yesterday.

"I can remember cooking and how to cook and wanting to be normal" I said as soon as this question was directed to me.

"So nothing seem strange to you aside this?" She asked and I nodded slightly without saying anything to her but lock gaze with her.

Suddenly, Alice greeted Derek which made me swallowed abit hard and then continued my cooking silently.

He nodded to her and stepped further into the kitchen as he stared at me silently.

"How are you feeling today?" he managed to asked looking at my face but still looking serious.

" I feel like I have been sleeping for months" I said blankly as he walked towards Alice and asked her to leave.

He waited for her to leave and was sure she was out of sight before walking up to me in the kitchen.

Fear gripped me by the hair and was about to go down my neck when the idea of stabbing him with the kitchen knife came to my mind.

I could run to Rex after killing him or maybe kill myself.

"I know about the visions" he said to my ear as soon as he held my face abit too firm than how a person's face should be held.

His words were confusing but I could remember him saying that days ago and immediately I could feel the sensation of being on my head again.

I struggled but nothing happened to change what was going to happen as I stood still still hoping to defend myself sooner or later.

" It would be risky for you to call me out at anytime and anyhow* I heard myself saying as I tightened my face abit but wasn't feeling angry.

Shit!

This son of a bitch called Rowena! How?

Does she permanently stay in me?

"Put her to sleep then" Derek said to me and for a short While we stood silently and my body felt more trapped by seconds.

"Why did you leave yesterday?" Derek asked looking abit serious and a little sad as he watched my face in silence and waited for my reply as usual.

I stood still in my head and I was quiet, remembering what happened to me yesterday made me felt sick and abit worried for myself as I watched his face.

"My body is very far from here...i can't control her dreams and staying out too long can kill both mine and hers" Rowena said. She seem genuinely concerned about this killing both of us.

I thought she wanted me yesterday.

"And how did you find Rex yesterday?" He asked and Rowena laughed almost immediately moving away from his grip.

" He is healing....it seems like he had fallen head over heels with Elena that posing like her wasn't even a problem then" Rowena said sitting down on one of the stools around as she swang my hair to one side of my face.

Bitch toying with my hair.

"Since he is healing, what if we ambush him?" Derek asked to my surprise but it wasn't really surprising since Derek was obviously evil.

"Since Elena which is now you are is blind spot, we can get to him with poison or even magic to deal with him" he said sounding good with himself as he flashes me a wicked grin.

He look genuinely ready to take out his plan immediately.

"All you have to do is to act like you are also in love with him and then..." He said smiling the more as he left the last words to sink in my head.

I felt Rowena hesitant.

She was thinking real hard, I couldn't get in her mind or read her feelings like yesterday.

"It could work...not certain. Or...? you would make her body my body permanently and make me your Luna" Rowena said firmly like it was actually a threat or something but I wasn't sure what it was and why I was saying all of this either.

This bitch!

Immediately, I fought!

I screamed in my head, thrived and crawled.

I didn't know I could do it but I did.

I moved my body, my physical whole body!

I was finally in control.

'Rowena! Rowena!! Elena? ' I heard Derek's voice.

Faint, like an outer body experience.

It hurts me now that he was only concerned about her. Calling my name was to make sure he wasn't calling the wrong person.

My eyes snapped open. I woke up to find myself on Derek and everything seems to be different or maybe in a dream but it wasn't because I was still in the kitchen.

"What happened?" I asked impatiently as I woke up to find him staring at me silently.

"You fainted" was all he could say, I stood up and walked pass him in the kitchen to my fried rice to see if it was ok...it wasn't.

The shit was roasted.

In silent, I set the things aside, waiting to see if Derek would talk about Rowena or something.

I even wanted to tell him I heard him call me Rowena but... Best I just watch.

"Can I go for a walk once I'm through with cooking my food?" I broke the silent.

Derek growled.

He moved close to me, looked me dead in the eyes and shook his head. Heading to the door, he paused and looked back at me.

"NO!" Derek stated looking very tensed as he stared at me in awkward silence, all I could think of is just breaking through from my own body.

I did it.

Maybe he noticed but I fvcking did it!
