Chapter 643 Antidote
Chapter 643 Antidote
The driver suddenly turned to Zoey, "I've always wondered about something. We gave you a drug before sending you off, but how did you manage to shake it off so quickly?"
"Who said I shook it off?" Zoey replied calmly. "Can't you see I'm holding onto him? If it weren't for him supporting me, I'd have collapsed by now."
Her blank expression made it hard to believe her, but the driver looked again and saw that Zoey was indeed clinging to Dane.
Given Zoey's temperament, it was already a miracle she hadn't kicked Dane away, let alone stayed glued to him.
The driver thought for a moment, "Mr. Davis, how about this? You've always wanted to get into the VIP room, but it's always fully booked. This time, I'll save you a spot and make sure you have a great time."
The VIP room had a different, more thrilling experience compared to the regular rooms.
"You're really saving me a spot?" Dane was instantly tempted.
But when he turned to look at Zoey's icy gaze, he felt like he was plunged into an ice bath and immediately sobered up.
"I want to see my friend," Zoey said, her face still expressionless.
Dane quickly nodded, "Seeing a friend is fine. After all, good friends have deep bonds. You can arrange that, right?"
The driver had no reason to refuse this time.
"Alright, I'll arrange it for you."
He turned and left, and Dane let out a sigh of relief, "Can you let me go now? I've done my best. It's not that I don't want to take you away, but they won't allow it. If I insist on taking you, I won't be able to leave either."
"Don't worry, I won't force you." Zoey had already made other plans.
Since this person couldn't help with leaving, he had to be useful in other ways.
About half an hour later, the driver returned, with Linda following behind him.
Linda's eyes lit up when she saw Zoey. "Are you okay?"
"Standing right in front of you, aren't I?"
Linda sighed in relief, "I was scared to death when they took you away. I was really worried something might happen to you."
Zoey shrugged, "What about you?"
Linda's expression turned complicated, "Don't even mention it, it was disgusting."
She had also been sent to serve men, but she wouldn't cooperate. The experience was something she didn't want to recall.
"What's the situation now?"
Zoey said, "I want to invite you to join our game."
Linda was stunned, "What did you say?"
"I want to invite you to join our game."
Linda was dumbfounded, "Are you sure? Did that drug mess with your head?"
Given Zoey's personality, she should have kicked the men they were supposed to serve away. How could she suggest a threesome?
"Are you really Zoey?"
"Who else?" Zoey wasn't surprised by her reaction. She grabbed Dane with one hand and Linda with the other, and turned to enter a private room.
The driver stood at the door for a while and then laughed, "This is going to be interesting."
Inside the room, Dane was huddled in a corner, trembling.
Normally, having two beautiful women in front of him would be enough to keep him excited all night.
But now, he couldn't muster any excitement because one of the beauties was a tiger, watching him intently.
"Why are you looking at me? I can't help you. I tried earlier, but they wouldn't let me take you. I can't take either of you, let alone both."
Zoey sat on the couch, "If you can't take us, then don't. I need you to help me with another plan."
"What plan?"
Zoey smiled slightly, making Dane's back tingle.
The driver didn't leave immediately. He stood outside, curious about what the three inside were discussing.
Would they really put on a restricted show, or was this just a trick to deceive him?
But he couldn't hear anything from the door.
About half an hour later, someone finally opened the door. It was Linda, wearing a nightgown.
"You should go in and check. Mr. Davis seems to have had some kind of attack."
The driver was stunned.
Dane had been here many times, and he'd never heard of any health issues.
But since Dane was an important client, he went in.
As soon as he entered, the door closed behind him. The driver stopped and didn't look into the bedroom.
"What's this?"
"A trap," Zoey walked out of the bedroom, the chain on her foot clinking with each step.
The driver wasn't scared at all. "Do you really think you two women can take me down? Even if you do, what then? I'm just a manager here. The real boss isn't me. Killing me won't help because someone higher up will come to handle you."
He sat on the couch, looking fearless.
"I just want to talk to your boss," Zoey said.
The driver laughed, "Do you think you're worthy of talking to my boss? Do you even know who my boss is?"
"I don't know if I'm worthy, but I do know your life is in my hands."
"Do you really think I'd come in unprepared?" The driver had already prepared himself at the door, knowing these two women weren't easy to deal with. He lifted his jacket to reveal a gun at his waist.
"Go ahead, shoot," Zoey said.
The driver thought she was crazy, looking at her in disbelief, "Do you want to die?"
Zoey chuckled, "Try it."
"Do you think I won't?" The driver pulled out the gun, but suddenly felt weak, the gun becoming heavy in his hand.
He realized something was wrong. "What did you do?"
Zoey looked around, "Don't you notice a particular scent in this room?"
The driver finally noticed a faint, increasingly strong fragrance in the air, different from the cheap cologne Dane wore. It was subtle and easy to overlook.
"What is this smell?"
"Just a little incense I found in a box," Zoey showed an incense box. "The ingredients have different effects when burned alone, like calming or arousing. But when mixed, they create a unique effect."
The driver knew the effects of drugs well. He felt weak and dizzy, about to pass out.
"Now, will you consider taking us to your boss?"
The driver gritted his teeth, "I won't take you to my boss. Give up."
"Then you don't want to live," Zoey pulled out a pair of scissors from the table, the sharp tip glinting as she pressed it to the driver's neck.
The driver swallowed hard, cold sweat dripping from his forehead.
"Go ahead, kill me."
"You talk tough, but why are you shaking?" Zoey's eyes fell on his trembling legs.
"Who wouldn't shake when facing death?"
"I can let you live," Zoey tapped the scissors on his face, the cold touch making his flesh quiver.
"I can peel the flesh off your body without killing you. When I'm done, will your boss recognize you?"
The driver's face twitched. He'd seen tough people, but never someone who could say such terrifying things so calmly.
"You're crazy!"
Zoey said lightly, "Yes, I'm crazy. I wonder if it's illegal for a madwoman to kill. But this isn't killing, just torture. I won't let you die because if you die, I can't get out."
A madwoman, she was a madwoman!
The driver regretted his overconfidence with the gun. He shouldn't have come in. This woman was a complete lunatic!
"One last time, will you take us to your boss?"
Zoey's question was followed by the scissors piercing the driver's skin, and blood instantly flowing.
The pain made the driver shudder, his mind blank. All his bravado vanished, leaving only one thought.
He didn't want to die.
"I'll take you! I'll take you to him!"
