"Yeah I'm off now" Amelia Robertson smiled rather coldly at the bartender but not in hate, rather it was due to her solemn expression.
She walked out of her favorite bar, her hair were tied up in a ponytail as she dug both hands into her down coat.
The twenty one years old Amelia wandered the streets.
In the streets of Europe, The soft music from the bar becoming inaudible as she moved further away.
Chewing on her gum with her earphones on, she walked away from the bar in slow but ragged manner.
She hummed along as she moved, navigating the dark street, eyes were heavy as she walked towards her home. Looking deep down, one could tell she was masking her pains, her eyes were a bit red for some reasons.
The cold breeze from the night hit her face, she hoped the cold air could sweep away her frustrations and anger as well but it just swept her hair from her face.
How frustrating.
Her red boot kissed the cold floor that was a bit slippery due to the occurrence of rain that happened few minutes ago.
Her lonely figure kept walking to her hell hole, a place others call home but for her, it was a stuffed animal house was that personally designated to make her depressed.
She wasn't expecting anything positive.
Her solitude was disturbed when a guy walked in front of her with a maniacal smile laced on his face.
She stopped dead in her track as she slowly raised her brow as she gazed at the guy who was a black standing in front of her with a stupid grin on his face. She bit her lip in amusement when another guy appeared again.
She suddenly felt bored out of her mind.
The two were a polar opposite, one was a black with American accent, he had a full hair, he was so tall and the other was a bit tanned skin with dark hair that was styled to the side, he was shorter than the black guy.
Their eyes blazed with mischief as they both laughed and that got Amelia Robertson even more annoyed.
"Pretty.... What do we have here?" The black guy smirked as he eyed Amelia who had a boring expression while looking at them like a moron.
His eyes were on Amelia and he let his Lust show on his eyes.
Laughing, The tanned skin guy said "how about we go back and grab some drinks and maybe a chat, what do you think?" He grinned as he looked at his partner.
Amelia slowly removed the earphones from her ear " I know you wouldn't like to have a talk with me so move away" Her tone was hard, her eyes were calm like the calm before the storm.
The black man smiled even more "I love them fierce" He grinned even more and Amelia rolled her eyes and was ready to walk over them when the black stretched out his hand to grab her arm.
As if her button was pushed, Amelia quickly grabbed his arm, the black was startled but it was too late when Amelia twisted it to the side and he let out a groan.
The tanned akin guy was walking towards them with a knife in his hand "You're gonna get hurt so bad"
Seeing him approaching, Amelia elbowed the twisted hand on the black man and his legs passed out as he fell to the ground, she quickly used her boot to kick his jaw and he groaned out in pain, blood splashing from his mouth.
The tanned skin guy swung his knife around and Amelia slowly moved back ward.
A man sitting in the back seat of the black car had a blank face as he watch this whole scene unfold.
A small smirk showered on his face as he muttered "I hope you are still so tough now" He was a bit amused at the scene that was playing out.
He was captivated to this scene when the girl grabbed the man's arm and twisted it really cruelly. He loved cruelty and so he was attracted to the fight between the two men and a young lady in red boots.
Not noticing the gaze, Amelia only concentrated on the tanned skin guy who swung the knife towards her and she moved to the side to avoid getting cut by it.
"Take this" The man shouted as he jumped to stab her and Amelia bit her lower lip as she turn to take to her heels but the man's groaning sound made her halt.
She stood still as the man's groaning slowly died down, he was in pain.
She slowly inclined her head to the back, her body turning along with her body.
Her translucent black eyes widen in shock when seeing a man walking away from the scene and the tanned skin guy was lying in the pool of his own blood.
Amelia gasped as she raised her head again to look for the man but he was out of sight and just then, the black car parked not too far from the scene drove away and Amelia let out a sigh.
She walked towards the dead tanned skin man and kicked his shoulder in disgust.
With that, she turn and started walking back to her hell, to meet her father and his ' beloved ' family.

•••Alexander's POV•••••
" That's my decision and it's final, I've loaned the money to him and his daughter will be getting married to you by tomorrow.." Lorraine Ron, my dad said in fury.
"Dad you can't possibly force me to get married, women are gold diggers and I don't need those eves" I argued as I didn't want to settle not now, and not ever. I was a twenty five years old man.
" You aren't getting any younger son, I've made preparation already, all you have to do is show up"my dad tried to reason with me.
The only people I respect and as well confide in were my parents and my younger brother.
I was left with no option "Okay fine Dad, I'll be there" I said with gritting teeth feeling rather stupid.
" That's it, son, this girl isn't like every other girl, she's different and hard to come by".
" Now please don't try to patronize me, I don't buy those shits, eve will remain Eve".
I couldn't put a woman on my good book as all of them I've seen, they all want to sleep their way to my bed and they disgust me.
I've bedded some of them but after the first time, there wasn't going to be another time with that same person.
I could feel my dad was frustrated as he sighed "Whatever you say, I'll text you the location soon".
After disconnecting the call, I felt drained, Am I getting married like Liam and George??.
Liam and George were my close allies and friends, they had always mocked me for being single but I guess when they heard I was getting married tomorrow, the mockery would be worse.
Being a popular Business tycoon and as well, a mafia. The don X of the Underworld.
I, Alexander Ron, wasn't so fond of the idea of settling for one woman.
I sighed as I walked towards my car in the garage, I felt a glaring and sharp gaze on me, and just as I was about to open the car, a bullet was fired at me.
I immediately bent, pulled my gun from my back pocket, and walked in between the rows of cars in a squatting manner.
Shit.
The incompetent bastard kept shooting in my direction not knowing I left there and walking towards the pillar he or she was currently hiding.
A few steps away from the pillar, the bastard drew out his gun, ready to shot at me when I grabbed his arm and sprained his ankle, letting the gun fall off his hands, as I kicked it far away from us.
I couldn't waste my time with an idiot so I immediately shot him, he lay lifeless on the floor of the garage, and on his uniform was a printed badge.
RED KINGS.
Those scumbags, mother f**kers.
I wiped my hands with a handkerchief and dialed the number of Gary" come to the garage and clean up a corpse" I said and immediately ended the call.
Then I walked towards my car, sat on my sit and called the head of securities," Reinforce more men and tighten the security at my company and in my house, I give you twenty hours" .
I was glad no employee was still in the office to witness this type of situation.
Soon I drove off in my car.
Arriving at my big mansion which I never felt was lonely but fit my temperament.
The maids bowed as I walked upstairs to my room on the third floor, threw my coat on the cushion close by.
My room was painted black, with black curtains and a big king-size bed covered in grey sheets and a black duvet.
I felt so tired as hell as I walked towards the bathroom washed up and came out with a towel around my waist.
Water dripping from my hair, down to my abs, the dim light in my room made it more seductive and distant.
I used another towel to wipe dry my hair, I wasn't fond of using the hair dryer so I tended to wipe my hair that way.
Soon after, I changed into casual nightwear and soon dozed off.

•Amelia's POV••
when I got to the hell hole called my house, I noticed the stiff and quiet atmosphere in the living room.
There they were, birds of same feathers, the husband and the wife.
Luke Robertson was my damn father and Marion Robertson was my stepmom but why I couldn't see their spoilt brat, Jolie Robertson, my stepsister was still confusing because they were a happy family of three, excluding me.
Seeing me walk into the parlor, my dad turned his head toward my direction " Amelia, come right here".
I secretly rolled my eyes as I walked towards them, standing in the middle of the living room.
" Amelia, we're in Trouble.." my father said.
I so wanted to say, you're the ones in trouble and not we, not me.
" Your sister has been hospitalized, she was beaten to a pup by some jealous classmates and she is in critical condition".
I raised an eyebrow, and so??
"So we couldn't put the burden on you" my father added.
"Put the burden on me?? Such funny couples, was I the one who gave birth to your shitty slut??"I couldn't resist but tell them to their faces.
" Hey you bitch, you are the slut, aren't you ashamed?? You should be the one paying for the medical bills but anyways we came up with a new idea so let your father arrive at that point" my stepmom spoke for the first time since the conversation started, there were dark circles around her eyes, she must have probably cried her eyes out for her dear daughter.
My dad cleared his throat as he hit the nail on the head "Tomorrow you'll be getting married to the son of Loraine Ron, we borrowed a huge sum of money from them for your sister's surgery".
Tomorrow you'd be getting married.
Tomorrow you'd be getting married.
Those words kept repeating in my head, was this how my life would turn out.
" Never, you can as well marry your dear wife to him, but I?? Never" I spat out.
" Then watch me" my father barked at me and I snared at the shameless couples.
" You must get married, you have no use in this house, your sister brings money home for food but you.. you bring trouble".
I couldn't listen to their nonsense as I walked to my room, after shutting the door, I noticed something was off, I walked towards the window but before I could reach there.
My door was locked from the outside, I turned and tried to open it using the knob but to no avail, then I walked towards the window and saw that my window had been locked and sealed with a lot of screws, no source of ventilation except the AC in my room and that was when it hit me.
I've been locked with no chance of escape!!!
