The next morning I was again sitting beneath my tree, and as I glanced up from the book Tonya had given me, my breath kicked up at the familiar shoulders of the man walking toward one of the buildings. As I ran my eyes over the length of him, taking in the muscular build of his back, the way his jeans hugged the spectacular curve of his butt, my gaze dropped to his hands—in particular, his fingers.
God! What those magical digits had done to me last night and with my thoughts, an ache began between my thighs. My nipples hardened, and I grew damp thinking about the things we'd done. I found, as well, I wanted to do them all again.
Standing, I hurried after him, and when I reached him, I grasped his hand. At my touch, he gave a start and jerked his hand from mine, snarling, “What the fuck!” as stopping mid-stride, he whirled around to face me. A smile spread across his lips, and taking my hand back in his, he laughed, “Sorry, didn't know who the hell had a hold of me!”
“So, do random women come up and grab your hand all the time?” I teased.
Tugging at me, he began to move us forward, murmuring, “You have no idea!”
“Seriously?” I exclaimed.
“Seriously!” he confirmed.
As we stepped out into the harsh heat of another Florida day into the surprisingly empty building, Torin reached up, his thumb rubbing back and forth on the top of my hand. His eyes grew dark, desire filled, his movements stilling. “Keep looking at me like that princess, and I promise you, the work bench behind us is going to get to know your bare ass real well!”
I looked at Torin and husked, “Take me to your room.”
Pulling me up against him, he bent his head, lowering his lips to mine. The kiss he gave me was urgent, hungry and as his mouth devoured mine, I let out a breathless moan. At the sound, he thrust his tongue between my lips, dipping, swaying, and stroking, as he tasted me. After a few minutes and drawing back, our heavy breaths mingling, he whispered, “I need inside you princess...deep, deep inside. I want to crawl inside, twirl around, and feel every silky inch of you!” Then, with a husky growl, he breathed, “We really need to go, or I'm going to embarrass the shit out of you by taking you right here!”
“So...what's stopping you?” I moaned, my voice hoarse.
At my words, Torin groaned a guttural, “Oh, God-damn!” Then pushing me further into the building he kept pushing until he had me next to a work bench. I’d already ripped the buttons from his shirt with one quick jerk as they interfered with my hands on his flesh, and moving them down the bare expanse of his chest and abdomen, I unfastened his belt buckle and the button at the waist of his jeans, allowing him the modesty of keeping his jeans on. However, I’d lowered his zipper and shoved my hand far enough so I could get to his thick hardness. My hand encased within his jeans, I began moving it up and down his length causing Torin to grunt, “Princess, you keep that up and I'm gonna shoot my shit!”
Suddenly the building's large sliding metal door slid open, causing Torin’s shirt to flap in the breeze and giving a slight jerk, his belt buckle began to clink and clank as he uttered a groan of frustration.
Jitter, Houseshoe, and Syrup stepped through the door, their eyes immediately zoning in on us, as Jitter began to apologize profusely. “Dude, sorry bro, had no idea. Gotta get some bikes out, Bur’s orders.”
With heads turned in our direction, and grin’s splitting knowing faces, Torin growled, “Just hurry the fuck up.”
As if suddenly seized by slothisim, all three men sauntered over to three of the bikes and began to slowly inspect them.
“You slow ass motherfuckers! Will, you fuckin' hurry up!” Torin hissed.
I couldn't smother the laugh that broke loose of my mouth, and turning, Torin eyed me. Then, running a hand over the back of his neck, he gave me a sheepish grin, murmuring, “Sorry. I'm kinda...oh, fuck it...you got me as horny as a two-pecker Billy-goat!”
A fit of giggles seized me, and when I'd finally calmed enough that tears were no longer rolling down my cheeks, I raised an arm and wiped at the moisture with the bottom of his shirt.
Watching me, and with a smile flirting around his lips, as eyes now danced with amusement of his own, Torin reached out and took my hand. Interlacing our fingers together, he murmured, “Well if that wasn't a mood dampener,” then, lifting our hands up, he looked them over. A peculiar expression crossed his features, and after a few seconds, he dropped them back to our sides, before zipping his jeans, he tugged me away from the workbench ordering, “Come on.”
We entered the bomb shelter, and pulling me into the bar, Torin grabbed the two already prepared styrofoam boxes of food on the counter as he grinned. “Got no clue what’s in them,” then with a shrug he called out to Ginger who was in the kitchen area. “Stealing the food boxes.” Then once again taking my hand, he led me out of the bar, through the common room and began making his way toward his room. After we entered his room, he kicked off his boots and we made our way over to his bed, where settling onto the mattress, he opened the lid of one of the Styrofoam containers, and after glancing at its contents, he handed it to me. Then opening the other, he leaned back into his pillows, asking, “You still into scary movies?”
My mouth full of food, I nodded, and picking up the remote that sat on the table with our drinks, he pushed a button. The large screen TV that graced the wall in front of us powered on, and as he looked at the screen he murmured, “Looks like Paranormal Activity 3 is on. That okay with you?” As I nodded again, he placed the remote back on the bed beside him, and winking at me he picked up the plastic fork and began forking some of the box’s contents into his mouth.
An hour and a half later, when the movie came to an end, I lifted my head off his shoulder where it had come to rest at some point during the evening, realizing Torin had dozed off early in the movie, but without moving, he cracked an eye open, husking, “Just stay put.”
The evening hadn't gone anywhere close to the direction I'd expected it to at first, yet, I couldn't deny more snuggle time was damn tempting. Giving in to my desires, I settled back into Torin’s arms, and placing my head back on his shoulder, I gave a huge yawn and a contented sigh.
Floating in that moment that comes right before the blissfulness of sleep, I heard Torin whisper to himself, “I’m so fucked!”
