Chapter 467

Chapter 467

Hospitals that still offer hymen repair surgery are already extremely rare. Add to that the current real-name registration requirements at hospitals, and basically from registration to surgery, a person's entire identity information is transparent.

If Sienna could discover traces of the surgery, that proved Savannah's operation wasn't that long ago, which meant they could totally get relevant information from the hospital!

Having found a new lead, Sienna showed no expression on her face, but her whole demeanor was noticeably brighter, her mental state completely different from before.

Soon, the car stopped at the hospital entrance. Sienna couldn't even wait for pleasantries and immediately flashed her police badge.

Having credentials definitely made things easier. The nurse at the station didn't ask a single question and directly pulled up Savannah's information.

And based on the nurse's recollection, Sienna got a new clue.

"This person, yeah."

The nurse pressed her lips together, "I remember her pretty clearly. After the surgery, there was a man who came to pick her up."

The young nurse waved her hand somewhat embarrassedly, "To be honest, at first I was kind of judgmental about this girl. After all, having this kind of surgery, and then having a man show up right after—it really seemed like, you know..."

You couldn't blame the young nurse for viewing people through tinted glasses. The truth was, few people got this kind of surgery to begin with, and Savannah was the first one to have a man pick her up after it was done.

The young nurse recalled, "I remember it was raining outside that day. Neither of them had umbrellas, so they stayed here with me for a while to wait out the rain."

"They waited out the rain here?"

That meant the young nurse had spent quite a bit of time with the two of them.

Sienna looked up, holding up a photo of Domingo, "Was the man who came to pick up Savannah the one in this picture?"

The young nurse stared carefully at the ID photo for a moment, her eyes constantly scanning Domingo's features, "I think that's him!"

That settled it!

Sienna's eyes lit up, "We need to pull the surveillance footage from the nurse's station."

The young nurse naturally had no reason to refuse the police request.

She led the group to the security office and watched as Sienna and Kelvin successfully copied the surveillance backup.

As the surveillance played, Sienna kept her eyes glued to the black and white screen, "Here."

She reached out and tapped a corner of the screen, "This is Savannah."

Savannah's style was indeed as Sienna had guessed—a gentle, soft white dress. Even standing at the nurse's station, she looked quite pitiful.

The man beside her appeared to have a decent build and was slightly lowering his head, seemingly talking to Savannah about something.

The atmosphere between them seemed good. Savannah covered her mouth, her shoulders shaking with laughter.

In the black and white surveillance video, the man's face appeared for just a moment.

That single moment was enough for Sienna and Kelvin to confirm his identity, "It's Domingo."

Although they'd confirmed Domingo's identity, this vague surveillance footage alone wasn't enough to establish Domingo as a suspect.

After all, while this kind of pickup behavior seemed a bit over the line, if the two really were just in a normal relationship, picking up your girlfriend after surgery seemed pretty reasonable.

Thinking this, Sienna frowned.

But soon, Sienna seemed to remember something and couldn't help turning to Travis behind her, "According to our investigation, Domingo is married, right?"

Before Travis could speak, Kelvin said first, "He's married. According to statements from Domingo's coworkers, his relationship with his wife is pretty good, and their marriage is quite happy."

Kelvin's tone was cold, "That's the main reason those employees looked down on Savannah—because she was the other woman."

Sienna's eyes widened in shock.

Just as she thought.

She stared at Kelvin, "What else did you find?"

Kelvin rubbed her head, "If Savannah was the other woman, where would the two of them meet? Or rather, what would make Savannah rush to get hymen repair surgery?"

Sienna's eyes suddenly widened.

Right!

Domingo was a married man. If it was really like the coworkers said, with Savannah being the other woman, and Domingo's home life being pretty good, there's no way he'd bring Savannah to his own place.

So if the two wanted to do something...

"Check hotel records!"

Sienna spun around sharply, and Kelvin nodded quietly.

Based on the company's address, Kelvin and Sienna quickly pinpointed hotels the two might have gone to.

And sure enough, the hotel booking records quickly confirmed their theory.

"Starting from a month ago, their hotel bookings became very frequent."

They'd basically been using Savannah's driver's license to check in. Sienna flipped through a couple pages and couldn't help frowning.

According to the records, starting a month ago—right after Savannah had the hymen repair surgery—their hotel bookings became frighteningly frequent.

Sienna sneered, her expression disdainful, "What 'other woman'? If this Domingo was really so loyal to his wife, I don't think Savannah would've had a chance to be the other woman."

That was true. Kelvin shrugged noncommittally.

As Sienna continued looking, the hotel registration records soon ran out, and Sienna spotted a very obvious anomaly.

"Starting about a week ago, their hotel bookings stopped."

Sienna frowned thoughtfully, "After that, right up until Savannah's death, they never booked another room."

In this situation, such a sudden change must represent some special event.

Sienna touched the slightly rough paper, her expression serious, "I want to check the surveillance. Has Domingo been to your hotel recently?"

At this question, the hotel front desk employee shook their head helplessly, "If he didn't use his own driver's license to register, we can't really be sure."

That made sense. After all, this hotel was in a busy downtown area with terrible daily foot traffic.

Asking hotel staff to remember one customer's face and when they appeared under these circumstances was really asking too much.

Thinking this, Sienna slowly nodded, "Then help me pull up recent surveillance footage. I'll go through it myself."

The hotel naturally wouldn't refuse such a request.

The employee led Sienna toward the surveillance room, but Kelvin stopped in his tracks.

Kelvin grabbed Sienna's arm, "Domingo quit his job at the company. In such a short time, his most likely situation is that he's unemployed at home."
