Arthur came first to the place Eve had mentioned over the phone. It was not a luxury hotel, let alone a resort, but a simple inn on the outskirts of town. It was an old inn that even people felt lazy to stop by because there were many nicer inns around the place.
It seemed like Eve deliberately chose that place so that her meeting with Arthur would not be discovered by Dave. The situation she was facing now was probably so serious that she had to go against the life principles she had been using.
Eve is a girl who has high standards and lifestyle. She never wants to use cheap goods or eat food that is not of number one quality. It was unimaginable for Eve to use a cheap roadside inn to meet someone.
"Here's the room key, sir. Your room is at the end of this hall," the innkeeper said as he handed Arthur a key.
"Thank you. If there is a girl named Jasmine, please escort her to my room," Arthur pleaded. Eve had said that she would disguise herself under the name Jasmine.
"Yes, sir," said the innkeeper, who was a middle-aged woman.
"Don't send her to the wrong room, ma'am. I paid a lot of money to get her to come here," Arthur said again, as if to say that the girl who would be coming later was a call girl.
"You don't need to worry, sir. If she comes, I will deliver her directly to your room." The innkeeper replied.
"Thank you very much." Arthur tipped the innkeeper before entering the room he had rented.
The room smelled a little stuffy, so Arthur had to open the window to let in some fresh air. Luckily the room seemed to have been recently cleaned. Arthur would have suffered a lot if there had been so much dust. Arthur Wang's body that Arthur was currently using did have a serious allergy to dust. If Arthur inhaled even a little dust, he would sneeze all day long, until his chest felt tight.
"It's hard to believe that woman asked to meet in a place like this," Arthur muttered. Although Eve hid a lot of her true colors when she was his fiancée, when it came to taste, Eve was very consistent. She didn't like anything cheap.
"Looks like Dave has really put that woman through the wringer," Arthur said again with a wry smile. Imagining Eve's current plight made Arthur feel a little sorry for her. But considering what she had done to Arthur, what Eve was going through was nothing. The pity instantly evaporated without a trace.
Arthur waited for almost ten minutes, but Eve hadn't arrived yet. Arthur became a little uneasy, worried that Eve would fail to meet him in this place. To make sure, Arthur immediately took out his cell phone and contacted Eve using a phone call.
"The number you have dialed is out of range." That was the only voice Arthur heard every time he made a phone call. Eve's number was inactive.
"Did something happen to her on the way?" Arthur wondered. Given that his plan would be difficult if he didn't get help from Eve, Arthur couldn't help but worry. At the very least, if she had an incident, it should be at another time, not now.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door of the inn, bringing Arthur's erratic thoughts to a halt. Arthur immediately got up to check who was coming.
"Sir, the Miss Jasmine you are waiting for has arrived," said the innkeeper from behind the door.
Arthur immediately opened the door. A woman dressed up to the nines was standing behind the innkeeper.
"Thank you for escorting Miss Jasmine to my room," Arthur said as he tugged on the arm of the woman he called Jasmine.
"You're welcome, sir." The innkeeper responded. He bowed slightly to Arthur, before finally excusing himself.
Arthur immediately closed the inn door and locked it. He really wanted to laugh at Eve's performance as Jasmine tonight.
"What are you laughing at?" Eve asked incredulously. At this moment, she looked different with a dark purple electric polish. Not to mention that the clothes she wore looked very outdated. Very much different from Eve's dress sense all this time.
"Nothing. I just didn't expect it to be you," Arthur said. The Eve he used to see and the Eve now looked very different. The woman in front of him now seemed to be from another dimension, or even from another planet.
"I dressed up like this so I could see you, you know! You have no idea how crazy Dave is these days," Eve said irritably.
"Yeah, sorry. I know you must be having a hard time. You've endured it well, so you should be rewarded." Arthur smiled as he stroked Eve's face.
Instantly the woman lost interest in her anger. Getting a lot of rough treatment from Dave over the past time made her miss this kind of gentle caress.
"I've missed you, Artha," Eve said later as she slipped into Arthur's arms.
Arthur couldn't help but return the hug. He had to make Eve feel comfortable and trust him completely.
"Did he hit you?" asked Arthur, pretending to be concerned.
"No, but a few times he pulled my hair and bumped my body," Eve said.
"Really?" Arthur immediately broke the hug and scanned Eve's body from top to bottom with a worried expression. Increasingly, the man is indeed getting better at pretending.
"Don't worry, I can still hold it," Eve said with a wan smile.
"Are there any bruises on your body? Let me check." Arthur again looked so worried about Eve, making the woman really feel loved.
"There is no need to check. If there is a bruise, I immediately smear it with a special salve, so the bruise will fade immediately." Eve replied.
Arthur immediately brought the woman back into his arms. He was actually swearing inwardly, but of course it must not be known by Eve.
"I miss you, but it seems that your body is not okay," Arthur sighed later while gently stroking Eve's back. It was great that tonight they didn't have to do anything, so Arthur also never used the illusion of the system to trick Eve.
"What do you mean? I'm fine. My body doesn't have the slightest problem." Eve protested. She certainly didn't want her struggle to meet Arthur to end in vain. She should at least get some pleasure, right? Even if the pleasure actually comes from the illusion of the system.
"Really? Your body really has no problems? I don't want to cause you more pain, Eve."
"I'm not sick! Can't you see that I'm completely healthy?" Eve insisted.
"Fine," Arthur finally said, smiling at Eve. As before, this time it seemed that he had to use the illusion of the system to satisfy Eve.
"Close your eyes," Arthur whispered in Eve's ear.
Eve obeyed Arthur's words. She closed her eyes while smiling slightly at the thought of the beautiful thing that was about to come to her.
While Eve was closed, Arthur immediately activated the illusion mode on the system. At the same time, Eve's mouth began to emit sighs that gave Arthur goosebumps.
After making sure that Eve was immersed in his hot illusion, Arthur stepped aside slowly. He closed the window of the inn that he had previously opened, then laid his body down on the sofa in the corner of the room.
The time for Eve's illusion this time was about sixty minutes. There was enough time for Arthur to rest, while Eve enjoyed the illusion created by the system.
Arthur even plugged his ears with earphones so that the sound of Eve's sighs and screeches didn't have to pollute his hearing.
"You're amazing, Artha ... that's right ...." Eve moaned loudly, penetrating Arthur's plugged ears.
Arthur turned his head to Eve for a moment and could only shake his head at the sight of the woman trembling alone on the bed.
Whether it was the constant reminder of the woman's betrayal or what, Arthur was disgusted every time he saw Eve in such a state.
"Is it still long?" muttered Arthur as he looked at his watch.
There were still forty-five minutes left, so Arthur chose to close his eyes for a while while listening to his favorite song. Let Eve scream with pleasure. After she was done, Arthur would go back to pretending that they had just done something amazing.
