On that afternoon, Nydia was brought back to the Pascall Villa.
Due to severe hypoxia and head injuries, she needed a lot of sleep to recover, so Nydia spent most of her time feeling drowsy.
She woke up from a nightmare, sweating profusely.
She had dreamt of Jesse dying right in front of her! And she also saw her two children...
Nydia didn't have time to think much, she stumbled out of her bedroom and ran straight into the man's cold wheelchair.
"Trying to escape again?" The man's voice was filled with suppressed anger.
"No, I'm just scared..." The next second, Nydia saw the coffee that Jesse was holding, and she hurriedly walked up and knocked the coffee cup out of his hand. "Don't drink it!"
The coffee was drugged!
The coffee spilled all over the blanket on Jesse's legs, making a mess.
Jesse grabbed her chin, his eyes cold and terrifying.
"Nydia, you're looking for death!"
Nydia felt like her jaw was about to be crushed. She was about to explain, but the next second, she was thrown away.
She instinctively put her right hand on the ground, and the broken pieces of porcelain pierced through her palm, causing excruciating pain!
Jesse glanced at her palm, his eyes darkening. "What's wrong? Not pretending to be pitiful enough, still planning on acting?"
He sneered coldly. "Do you think I'll let you off like this?"
Nydia lowered her eyes and remained silent. She knew that Jesse was on the verge of a violent outburst. Years ago, he had a serious car accident that left him unable to walk normally, and he had been in a wheelchair ever since. He became hot-tempered, moody, and even cruel!
"Why aren't you saying anything? Feeling guilty?"
Nydia knew she was in the wrong and had nothing to defend herself.
"Oh, right, Barclay hasn't visited you since your accident. Are you disappointed?"
"I have nothing to do with him! I don't need him to visit me!" Nydia immediately denied it.
In her previous life, she pretended to be obsessed with Barclay in order to provoke Jesse into divorcing her. But in reality, they had no relationship whatsoever! There was no connection between them in the past, and there would be no connection in the future!
Jesse suddenly laughed with a sarcastic tone, "Well, he's your sister's fiancé, so even if you want to have a relationship with him, you can't. Maybe after I go bankrupt, he'll be richer than me and you can divorce me and marry him!"
"I've said it before, I will never divorce!" Nydia looked Jesse in the eyes, her stubbornness still present, but different from before.
Jesse was slightly startled and when he heard Nydia's last words, his heart seemed to be grabbed by a giant hand, but was released in less than a second.
"You think I'll believe that?"
"Whether you believe it or not, that's what I think!" Nydia said, looking at Jesse with a tender gaze. "Your pants are dirty, go change them."
As soon as he heard the words "dirty pants," rage surged in the man's eyes. He grabbed Nydia's neck from behind and pulled her towards him.
"Nydia! Do you despise me for being disabled?"
"No, I don't despise you!" Nydia replied.
"Is that so?" Jesse suddenly laughed, his smile icy and insidious. "Show me."
The overwhelming and domineering atmosphere almost made Nydia stop breathing. She instinctively wanted to push him away, but he held her tightly.
Jesse bit her lips, making a drop of blood appear, then he gently sucked it away as if he was savoring something delicious. Nydia felt her scalp tingling and her body trembling.
While she was at a loss, Jesse had already left her lips. He touched her lips with his hand, pressed her wound hard, and then stroked her cheek gently, with a gentle and tempting tone, "Are you afraid of me?"
Nydia's body trembled uncontrollably. This Jesse was insane and ruthless, making her feel afraid involuntarily.
However, this time, she didn't want to run away! She suddenly grabbed Jesse's collar, pulled him towards her, and kissed him passionately!
