"Barclay, it's me, I'm awake."
"Nydia, you finally woke up! You had me worried sick. Don't do anything stupid in the future, okay?"
Nydia smirked at Willette, meaningfully saying, "Okay, but don't be so concerned about me, or my sister will get jealous."
Willette was stunned.
"What did you say, Nydia?"
"Willette Said you are her boyfriend, and I should keep my distance from you." Nydia said innocently.
Willette, "I was just kidding. He treats you like sister, so it's natural for him to care about you."
"I know, you all treat me well, so I should be more sensible."
She knew why Willette came to see her today, so she deliberately spoke slowly and calmly to brush off Barclay. Sure enough, the voice on the phone became increasingly impatient.
Seeing this, Willette urged, "Barclay, don't you need Nydia's help with something?"
"Barclay is so capable, why would he need my help?" Nydia's tone was as gentle and innocent as ever.
Over the phone, Barclay choked and almost smashed the phone!
He took a deep breath and pretended to be hesitant before saying, "Nydia, I know you've been through a lot lately and your body is weak. You shouldn't be doing this, but..."
"That's right! I'm so weak now that I really can't help."
After Nydia said this, there was a few seconds of silence on the phone.
Even over the phone, Nydia could imagine the gnashing of teeth on the other end.
She held back a laugh and deliberately looked upset.
Willette almost passed out from anger. This little bitch was not following the script!
"Nydia, help Barclay out. Jesse has been suppressing him lately, and you know why he's doing that, it's because of you..."
"It's got nothing to do with Nydia. Don't say anything more. Jesse is just taking revenge. He's a villain!"
Willette had to shut up, but her expression clearly said to Nydia: It's all your fault. Won't you help?
The two of them thought they could use moral pressure on Nydia.
However, they did not notice the undisguised smirk on Nydia's lips.
"Barclay, sister, don't say anymore. I'll help you. Tell me, what do you need me to do? I know you won't let me take risks, right?"
Willette, "Of course! We just need you to steal a proposal, it's simple. When Jesse is not around, you can take it and send it to us."
"Okay, I understand. I'll get it for you, sister, don't worry."
"Nydia, as long as we work together, we can definitely defeat Jesse, and then you can leave him too!"
"Mm!" Nydia nodded vigorously.
Outside the ward.
Jesse, who had returned, looked incredibly angry.
His hand on the wheelchair was clenched into a fist, and he stared fixedly at the closed door.
Nydia, you're divorcing me because of that man after all!
Behind him, the butler cautiously asked, "Young master, do you want to go in?"
"Notify the hospital to process the discharge procedures."
He suppressed his anger and turned around...
"But Madame is not yet well..."
"Don't make me say it again!"
