Before long, Willette came over with a new drink in hand.
"Nydia, you got this one steady."
"Maybe I've been injured too much lately, my hand is a bit weak, but I'll definitely hold it steady this time."
"Come on, cheers, I will always stand by your side."
Willette's words instantly made Nydia shudder.
In her past life, she became unconscious after drinking the beverage, just like being drunk, her body was weak and she couldn't move easily.
Willette used this to make Barclay take care of her, and then Jesse saw her leaning on Barclay's shoulder, which caused her relationship with Jesse to become worse.
She lowered her head and drank the drink, hiding the killing intent in her eyes.
"I'll go entertain the guests first, come find me if you need anything, and if you can't find me, find Barclay." It was the exact same sentence as in her past life.
"Okay, sister, go ahead." After Willette left, Nydia took out a pill she had prepared in advance and put it in her mouth. Suddenly, a cool feeling spread throughout her body. Recently, she had been organizing her medical books and specifically made this pill for today's drink.
She needed to go find the two kids now.
Tavish was playing with Molly at the party, there were a lot of children, and it was quite lively.
They both looked good, were smart and lively, and many children liked to play with them.
"Little gimpy, what are you playing?"
"He's talking to you, little gimpy."
boy poked Tavish's arm with his hand. "Tavish, he's talking to you."
Tavish turned around at this moment and saw a boy who was about 1. 2 meters tall smiling at him, but his smile was unfriendly.
"Little gimpy, are you deaf?" He spoke provocatively.
"My ears aren't deaf, but your eyes are definitely blind." Tavish replied coldly.
The boy laughed immediately and pointed at Tavish. "Your dad is gimpy, so you are little gimpy, right? Haha, the gimpy family, so interesting!"
"Don't you dare curse my dad, or I won't be polite!" Tavish glared at him, clearly already angry. Molly was also very angry, her face was puffed up, and she said loudly, "You have to apologize to us!"
"Did I say something wrong? Isn't your dad gimpy? Aren't gimpy's children little gimpy?" He looked very arrogant and didn't care about Tavish and Molly's warnings at all. Instead, he said impolitely, "What do you want to do? Do you want to fight?"
Tavish stood in front of him, a full head taller despite being only four years old. He was no match for a ten-year-old boy. However, Tavish suddenly picked up a plate of spices from the nearby table and threw it at the boy for no apparent reason. The stimulating seasoning entered his eyes, causing him to cry out in pain.
But it didn't end there. While the boy was desperately rubbing his eyes, Tavish rushed over and knocked him down hard, punching him while straddling his body. "I told you I wouldn't be nice to you!" This scene shocked everyone who witnessed it. It happened too fast for the adults to react. By the time they remembered to intervene, Tavish had already gotten up from the boy and taken Molly's hand, ready to leave.
"Son, what's wrong with you? Oh my god, call an ambulance!" A beautiful woman rushed over and knelt down to help the boy, anxiously wiping the seasoning from his eyes. "Who bullied my son?"
"Stop them, don't let them go!" she shouted sternly. Immediately, several adults went over to block Tavish and Molly's way, preventing them from leaving.
The woman washed the boy's eyes, and he was finally able to open them, but they still hurt a little. "Mom, he hit me, he hit me!" He pointed at Tavish and complained loudly, his eyes red and full of tears.
The woman was furious to see her son bullied like this and stepped forward, pointing at Tavish's nose and cursing, "Where did this little wild dog come from? How dare you bully my son?"
Tavish looked at her coldly without flinching, but he protected Molly behind him. "Do you dare to glare at me? Watch me teach you a lesson!" The woman raised her hand to hit Tavish.
Just as Tavish was about to resist, a hand suddenly grabbed the woman's wrist. "What are you doing?" Nydia appeared in time to stand in front of the children.
"Who are you?" the woman asked angrily.
"I am their mother." Nydia pushed her away, and she stumbled back several steps, almost losing her balance in her high heels, but luckily someone behind her caught her.
"So you're the mother of these two little dogs. No wonder, no wonder." The beautiful woman spoke arrogantly, saying offensive words that were particularly harsh.
Everyone present today was someone of status. Regardless of how they acted in private, they still had to pay attention to etiquette and manners in such occasions. However, this beautiful woman kept referring to the children as little dogs, which was really unpleasant.
"Little dogs?" Nydia repeated this term, and she turned to look at Tavish and Molly. The two children were very angry, and their faces didn't look good.
When Tavish met her gaze, she found that she couldn't see through the eyes of this four-year-old child. But it didn't matter. She raised her hand and touched his head, giving him a reassuring smile as if to say, "Don't be afraid, Mommy's here."
"If you're using animals to describe a child's personality, then I think the stubborn and fierce attributes of dog are somewhat similar," she said with a smile, then turned the conversation around, "But what animal would you use to describe your child?"
After a brief pause, she suddenly seemed to understand, "Oh, my mistake. Animals aren't appropriate. We should use poultry. I think your son looks like a pig, ugly and brainless."
Pfft!
Someone in the crowd burst out laughing.
"What are you talking about! Watch me tear your mouth apart!" The beautiful woman rushed over to grab Nydia's hair.
Nydia surprisingly didn't dodge and was directly caught by her hair.
Tavish and Molly, who were standing behind her, were also stunned, but after reacting, Molly had already rushed over and hugged the beautiful woman's leg, and was about to bite her.
But in a split second, no one knew when Nydia had a high heel in her hand, and she fiercely smashed it into the beautiful woman's face.
The thin high heel hit her face, and the beautiful woman was knocked down to the ground in an instant!
