Chapter 108
The two of them were rolling and fighting in a mess on the ground, with bodyguards from both sides watching closely behind the door, elbowing each other, but neither could push open the door.
“Stop hitting me…”
Andrea struggled to get up, but the iron chain yanked her back hard.
She watched as the two of them fought, covered in blood. In her blurred vision, the two figures gradually merged into a crimson blur.
“Please…stop hitting…”
Her voice was drowned out by the intense sounds of fighting.
Andrea trembled as she felt for the scattered porcelain pieces by the bed, the sharp edges cutting into her palm without her even realizing.
She suddenly pressed the cold porcelain against her neck, blood beads trickling down her snow–white skin.
“If you keep hitting me, I would have died in front of you now!”
Roderick and Quinn froze at the same time, their eyes locked on her blood-stained fingertips.
Andrea looked up, tears mixed with blood sliding into the corners of her mouth.
“You all kept saying you cared about me, but you never really cared about my feelings!”
She pressed down hard on the porcelain tile, and blood immediately

oozed out.
“Stop!”
Two urgent shouts rang out simultaneously.
Roderick let go first, his knees hit the ground with a heavy thud, blood immediately seeped into the water.
Quinn almost immediately rushed over, looking worried.
“Andie, you put down the stuff first.”
Andrea let go of the tiles, leaned against the head of the bed, and gasped heavily.
She looked at Roderick, covered in bruises, his voice hoarse like it had been rubbed with sandpaper.
“Let me go…”
Roderick looked down at her, cleared his throat, but in the end didn’t say a word.
Andrea bit her lip, struggled to lunge forward, fingertips trembling as she pulled the keys out of his pocket.
When the cold touch of metal came, she heard her own heart beating violently.
The iron chains fell to the ground, making a crisp sound.
Andrea collapsed on the bed, couldn’t even lift a finger.
The whole person felt a bit weak and powerless.
Quinn grabbed the blood–stained blanket from the bedside, gently wrapped it around her, and bent down to pick her up.

As soon as the door opened, the hallway guards instantly tensed up.
Roderick’s men peeked into the room and saw him slowly sliding down the wall, looking broken and helpless.
“Mr. Hodgson…‘
They hesitated to ask, but the latter remained silent.
Quinn held Andrea and walked out quickly.
She weakly buried her face in his chest, listening to the steady heartbeat and gradually feeling at case.
Roderick watched as the figure gradually faded away, and suddenly felt a sweet taste in his throat.
Blood gushed out uncontrollably, staining the pale back of the hand.
The next moment, he blacked out and fell heavily to the ground.
Before consciousness faded, all I could hear echoing in my ears was Andrea’s words, “Let me go.”
Outside the villa, it was pouring rain, while inside the car, warm yellow lights enveloped Andrea.
Quinn wrapped her in a blanket, soothing her softly.
“Andie, let’s go to the hotel first. Once you feel better, I’ll take you home.”
“Auntie, I made up an excuse to take you abroad for a vacation, and they didn’t suspect anything.”
Andrea weakly nodded, her throat as dry as a desert.
“Thank you, Quinn.”
