Chapter 21

Alexanvian went outside to check what was causing the commotion and saw both andreus playing a game with one person from the pack . He didn't expect to see andreus hanging out with a werewolf knowing that they were enemies.

" Who is he?" Alexanvian asked and Andreus didn't want to speak. He knew that they weren't on good terms with the werewolves and that hanging out with one would only make the situation worse.

" Who the fuck is he?" Alexanvian asked him again.

" Why do you have to be like this bro,he's just a friend and we're playing a little game together" he said and andreus nodded in response. Alexanvian was confused , he wondered why his brother was friends with a werewolf. He didn't know why they were hanging out together and wanted to find out everything.

" He's a werewolf ,how can you hang out with him?" He asked him and andreus wished for once that his brother would stop pestering his life and let him make his own decisions.

" Why can't I hang out with him?There's no rule in the book that says I can't and relax bro ,he's on our side" he told him but the Alexanvian didn't trust him a bit. He knew that he was up to something and wouldn't dare give how trust out like that especially to their enemy. He wished his brother wasn't so gullible.

" What makes you think he's on our side? " Alexanvian asked him and Andreus wished he could see the bigger picture and understand that they could use the werewolf for their own benefit. They could gather some information from him and use it to attack Wolfendon.

" I'm on your side ,I promise to give you every information concerning those werewolves and I promise to be by your side until victory " Xylon was promising but it didn't touch him any bit. He wasn't going to be deceived by this werewolf but at the same time he had a plan in his mind.

" Why would you want to betray your own people?" Alexanvian asked him wanting to know exactly what he would say and which sugar coated excuses he would come up with.

" All my life my people never treated me like one of them they always outcasts me away from things because my parents weren't nobles,they got killed by the so called nobles and when I attained power I wanted to make sure that I got my revenge and destroy each and every one of them but it wasn't that easy because they were always watching my every move and I needed them to trust me before I could do anything but now that I got the opportunity I want to help you defeat them ,it will not only benefit me but you too" Xylon explained and that kind of made sense to Alexanvian but he was no fool he knew when he was being tricked and this was definitely a trick.

"If you can betray your people then I'm sure that you can betray me too" Alexanvian said and Xylon immediately went on his knees.

" I dare not,I wouldn't dare try such a thing , trust me when I say this is also benefiting me as much as it's benefits you" Xylon was trying very hard to convince them when truly he had other plans in his mind.

" How did you two know each other?" He asked him and Andreus took the time to explain that one.

" Well during the battle he saved me or else I wouldn't be here right now at first I was stunned why a werewolf would do that to save a vampire but he told me that he wasn't like the others and actually wanted to join forces with us ,since I owed him one I decided to bring him to the palace" Andreus explained everything to Alexanvian. Alexanvian wished he could laugh at his stupidity but looked at the young werewolf and decided to let him in for a while . He knew that Xylon definitely had something cooking up in his head and he was going to play along for a while but he wasn't going to be deceived.

" Ok,I'm not going to say I trust you but if you dare do anything wrong or try to betray me. I wouldn't think twice before beheading you" Alexanvian told Xylon. He wasn't scared by the threat and wished could execute his mission right there and then.

" You can count on me your Lord" he said and Alexanvian walked out of the place leaving them to play their games.

Before leaving he watched the werewolf carefully and thought about how he could use him to his own benefit. He decided that if he had used the little rat ,he would kill him since he was no longer useful to him .

He thinks that he can fool him or try to use his brother to fool him . He wasn't the type who was easily deceived and he was very cunning which made him more of an opportunist. If he could use saving his brother as an excuse to get close to their clan then what more could he do.

" Isn't he so cunning,I think we're very much alike and he'll be useful to me" Alexanvian said to no one in particular and then one of the guards came into his chamber to give him some information.

" Good morning ,your majesty," the guard said with his head bowed down. Alexanvian wasn't really in for any of the drama that was yet to come.

" What do you want?" He asked the guard very dryly.

" I'm sorry but your aunt has requested to see you in her chamber" the guard told him and he knew what his aunt was going to fuss about and that was one of the things he wasn't really interested in dealing with right now.

" Ok" he said and got up from his chair which was so high like those chairs made for Kings since he was a king. He didn't have interest in seeing his aunt but just had too .
