Chapter 7
Julia I was exhausted. I can't believe that he hired only one person to clean such a big place and in only three days. Now I know the reason why he gave me day in between.
Stepping out of the shower, I dried my body before putting on a blue cotton shorts and a tank top. I open the bathroom door and look both ways before making my way to my room in a hurry. It seems as if I was the only one here, because if Gina was in the house the entire community would be aware because she is one loud beast.
I close my room door behind me and lean against it, I didn't have time to breathe a sigh of relief from the sight that met my eyes.
Xavier was sitting on my bed undoing the buttons on his shirt, he looked up and smirk at me while he did the last button.
"What are you doing in here?" I whisper. This part of the house was more secluded, but the last thing I want to do is have someone find out that he was in here with me.
I stood feeling anxious while watching him make his way over to me. He places both hands on the door trapping me, then he leans down with his mouth close to my neck. My heartbeat races every time he breaths against it.
"I came to see you Julies," He place a kiss on my neck, before moving his face close to mine, "I know you miss me."
"Don't flatter yourself," I stutter.
"I've been waiting for you since last night, but you didn't show. Where were you, baby?"
Wiping my sweaty palms on my shorts I gained the courage to push him away, of course he didn't budge. He wasn't built like the Rock, but he did seem like he had the strength. He raised his hand and I flinch, but instead of what I thought was coming he uses his hand to caress my cheek.
"Where were you, Julies?" He repeats.
"I do not see how that is any of your business."
He snakes his other hand around my lower waist and pulls me against his body when I started to try and get out of his hold. He held the back of my neck and rest his forehead against mine.
"Please Xavier, leave me alone," I beg, as memories started rushing back to me and tears blurred my vision.
"I miss you Julies," He began to run his hands up my back underneath my shirt, "I miss having your naked body beneath mine, you can tell me you don't feel the same way, but I know it is a lie, baby."
I gasp as he pushes me against the door, lift both my legs, wrapped them around his waist and push his body against mine. I could feel every inch of his body against my owe and it made me want to use something heavy and hit him on his head. Although that wouldn't hurt much, the emotional pain they gave me was nothing compared to the physical pain I wanted to give him.
"Tell me you don't miss this," he grabs me by my throat before pushing himself more on me then pressing his lips against mine.
I try to fight him off, but instead of letting go he sucked on my bottom lip.
"Don't deny it baby, I know you want me too."
"I don't want anything from you, Xavier, now get the fuck off of me!" I gather all my strength and pushed him harder this time.
He stumbled a bit, he looked at me as if I hurt him and just when I thought he was backing down, he grabs me by my waist and throws me on the bed.
"Stay," he says as I start to get up and leave.
I glare at him, "You don't tell me what to do, not anymore!"
In one swift motion he had me handcuffed to the bed. He retreated and waved the key in front of me. When I tried to take it from his hand, he tossed it across the room and started grinning like the idiot he was.
"Do you remember this game, Julies?" He tossed his shirt on the floor and starts removing his pants.
Unfortunately, it was fresh in my mind. I knew what was coming next and I did not want it to, not after he fucking betrayed me and broke my heart.
"Don't do this Xavier." My wrist was starting to burn from trying to wiggle it out of the handcuffs.
"Relax baby, all I want to do is sleep next to you, but you're making it so difficult."
He lay behind me on the bed and starts playing with the waist band of my shorts. If he continues like this then I would have a panic attack.
"Do you still not wear panties for me?"
"Fuck you!"
He chuckles, “Don’t tempt me, Julies."
I did not get much sleep, not when a sociopath had me handcuffed to my bed with his arm around me. Luckily, he just slept like he said he wanted to.
I was even more exhausted than I was yesterday, and I needed to find a way to get out of this handcuff before he woke up.
I wanted to try and use some lotion to get it off, but I didn't unpack it from my bag. I didn't unpack anything because I wasn't staying for long. Two years ago, I promised myself that I would never return to Greengrove, and I had to break that promise because of one old man.
Being in this situation now make me wish I tried harder and that I saved more money, but I never realized that living in Palmville would be so expensive. I often hear people say that Palmville was like Los Angeles and living there made me believe it even though I've never been to LA before.
I groan and try pulling my wrist out for what felt like a million times. My hand hurts and my skin had a red marks on it from all the pulling and twisting. I stop moving when I felt Xavier move behind me.
I felt disgusted, even though we didn't have intercourse I felt dirty and worthless. My vision starts to get blurry from the memories that began reoccurring from the very first day I arrived back here. I wasn't going to cry, not in front of these people anyway.
"Well, hello their sunshine," I heard him say before pulling me towards him, "I miss waking up next to you."
"I can't say the same," I mumble.
He chuckles and let go of me. I watch him as he starts to get up from the bed. He reaches for his pants and starts to put it on, he was watching me as he does this.
"I forgot how sexy you looked in the morning," he says while pulling up his zipper.
"Why, waking up next to a pig doesn't do it for you anymore?"
He chuckles, "I always like that mouth of yours it says and does the rudest things."
I wanted to throw up. I roll my eyes and look the other way. I felt a bit of hope as I heard him grab the keys from the floor and began walking towards me.
Xavier undid the cuffs, and I sighed with relief while rubbing my wrist.
"You're free to go babe," he leans forward to kiss me on my lips, but I moved away causing him to kiss my cheek instead.
"You're one tough and unforgivable cookie, aren't you, my gorgeous caramel?"
Instead of giving him an answer I glare at him while still rubbing my wrist. I'll have to put some ointment on it and a bandage. There were a few scrapes and bruises and it even felt like I had a sprain.
"I'll see you later, baby," he says before leaving.
As soon as he does, I got up from bed and sigh in relief. I had no idea where to go, but I was not going to stay here for much longer. I dodged a bullet last night and I couldn't take that chance again.
Today was my day off so I will just walk around today and see if I find anywhere to stay. I could ask Mrs. C if I could stay with her for a few days, but she will ask too many questions and the last thing I want to do is drag her into my mess.
I replace my shorts with a pair of rip denim. I grab my first aid kit along with my hairbrush and toothbrush before making my way to the restroom.
After doing what I had to, I pulled the restroom door open only to be greeted by Gina. She was wearing a green night dress, yellow and pink hair rollers, and blue fluffy slippers. Her ugly dressing wasn't what stood out the most though, it was the furious look on her face.
She raised her hand and connected it with my face. I stumbled from the force, my ear was ringing, but I managed to hear the words she said before storming off, "You ungrateful bitch!"
