Chapter 68: Sixty-eight

Alana

I woke up feeling refreshed and excited for the day ahead. Damien was already up and getting dressed, and I could hear Liam chattering away in his room next door. I smiled to myself, feeling grateful for this little family I had found.

After getting dressed, I joined Damien and Liam in the dining room for breakfast. Liam was bouncing up and down in his seat, chattering excitedly about his plans for the day. Damien and I exchanged a warm smile, and I felt a sense of contentment wash over me.

As we ate, Damien told us about his plans for the day. He had a meeting with some of his advisors, but he promised to take some time off later to spend with us. Liam was thrilled, and I couldn't help but feel a little excited myself.

After breakfast, Damien headed off to his meeting, leaving Liam and me to our own devices. We decided to take a walk in the gardens, enjoying the fresh air and the sunshine. Liam ran ahead, laughing and playing, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of joy watching him.

As we walked, I couldn't help but think about my other children. I knew I had to find them, had to make sure they were safe. But for now, I was just going to enjoy this time with Liam and Damien.

We spent the morning exploring the gardens, and then headed back to the palace for lunch. Damien joined us, and we spent the afternoon together, playing games and laughing. It was a perfect day, and I felt grateful for this little family I had found.

As the day drew to a close, Damien took my hand and pulled me aside. "Alana, can I talk to you for a minute?" he asked, his eyes serious.

"Of course," I replied, feeling a little nervous.

"I just wanted to say how much I appreciate you," he said, his voice low and sincere. "You've brought so much joy into my life, and into Liam's life. I don't know what I would do without you."

I felt a surge of emotion, and I knew I had to tell him the truth. "Damien, I have something to tell you," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

"What is it?" he asked, his eyes concerned.

"I have other children," I said, my heart pounding. "I had to leave them behind when I was taken by the kidnappers. I don't know where they are, but I have to find them."

Damien's expression changed, and I could see the shock and surprise in his eyes. But then, something else appeared in his eyes, something that looked like determination.

"We'll find them," he said, his voice firm. "We'll find them and bring them home."

I felt a surge of hope, and I knew that I had found a true ally in Damien. Together, we would find my children, and we would make our little family whole again.

As the sun set over the palace, I felt a sense of peace wash over me. I knew that I still had a long way to go, but I also knew that I was not alone. I had Damien, and I had Liam, and together, we would face whatever challenges came our way.

Over the next few days, Damien and I spent every spare moment searching for my children. We scoured the countryside, asking questions and following leads. It wasn't easy, but I was determined to find my children.

And then, one day, we received a tip. A woman had seen two children matching my description in a nearby village. We set off immediately, our hearts full of hope.

As we arrived in the village, I could feel my heart pounding. What if this was it? What if we finally found my children?

We searched the village, asking questions and showing pictures. And then, suddenly, we saw them. My children, my precious children, were standing in front of us.

I felt a surge of emotion, and I knew that I had found what I was looking for. I had found my children, and I had found my happiness.

As we embraced, I knew that nothing could ever tear us apart again. We were a family, and we would always be there for each other.

And as we made our way back to the palace, I knew that I had found my true home. I had found my children, and I had found my happiness. And I knew that I would never let anything come between us again.

With a heart full of joy and a sense of determination, I looked at my children, knowing that we would face whatever challenges came our way. Together, we would build a new life, a life filled with love and happiness. And I knew that nothing could ever take that away from us.

"Mommy, mommy, wake up it's morning" I felt someone shake me, I opened my eyes and noticed , it was Liam ,

So I was dreaming after all, how nice would it have been if we could actually live ordinary life's and if I could just find my children.
