Chapter 10: The Club

It was almost ten and reached there. John finds a parking spot and parks the car. Everybody gets out of the car and tries to walk inside. Neha was a little afraid because she never went to such a place before especially with two guys.

Neha told them, “Hey, I hope we leave early because it's already 10 and I want to be home safely.”

Sara pats her hand on her shoulder, “Don't worry, Neha. We'll be home safely, okay, but right now let's enjoy and don't think of anything.”

They go inside and it was so loud that they couldn't even think inside. Many people were dancing and enjoying their life. Sara was so happy because this was her first time going to the club. They go and sit at a table. John asks everybody if they want something to drink and every else says no. John goes to the bartender and orders a drink for himself and Farhan. For Sara and Neha, he orders soft drinks. The music was so fast and everybody on the dance floor was going crazy. Sara liked being there and Neha as well.

Sara excitedly, “Hey, Neha. Do you wanna go to the dance floor? I want to dance.” Neha gets up, “yeah, me too. It feels so good and everybody's enjoying here.”

They go to the dance floor and dance. Farhan was still sitting at the table and Sara waves at him and tell him to come to the dance floor to dance with them. So, he goes there. They couldn't hear anybody there, so Farhan talks to Sara in her ear.

“It's very loud here.” Neha was dancing and Farhan holds Sara's hand.

“What?” Sara was confused about why Farhan held his hand and what he wanted. They were talking to each other in their ears. “What happened?” Farhan let's go of her hand, “Farhan: Nothing. I was thinking if they take public request.”

Sara looked at the D.J. “Oh that. I don't know why you don’t ask John.” John was sitting at the table and was drinking. Sara was in shock because he was only 18 and he was drinking. Farhan goes to John and Neha was talking to Sara now.

Neha told her, “I think he likes you.”

Sara looking weird at Neha, “No, we're just friends, and try to hook me up with him now. I'm already booked, remember?” Sara was laughing and Neha as well.

Neha told her to look at where Aaron was standing, “And your bookie is here.”

Sara confused, “What?” She turns her to where Aaron was standing with his friends.

Neha laughed, “Oh my god, you guys have a heart connection.”

Sara couldn’t hear from the loud music, “What's that?”

Neha told her, “My mother says that if you love someone and if he has the same feelings for you, then it means that your heart connects. In order words, you guys are made for each other like soul mates.”

Sara said, “Oh, I see.” Now Sara was looking at Aaron and suddenly Aaron's eyes catch her dancing on the dance floor, but he didn't come to her. He was still standing with his friends and talking to them. Sara wanted him to come to her and talk to her, but he didn't.

Neha told her, “why don't you go and talk to him and sort things out between you guys?”

Sara replied to her, “No, I won't go and I'm going back to the table.”

Sara and Neha go back to the table and Aaron was still looking at her. Sara thought that she wanted to forget about Aaron for few hours because whenever she thought about him, it made her that he doesn't love her, and he left her. She was so desperately in love with him that she couldn't stop looking back at him. When she turned to the table and see that Farhan wasn't there.

Sara asked, “Where is Farhan?”

John told her, “he went to tell the D.J. to put some other song.”

“Oh, okay.” Farhan comes back and takes a hand out for Sara to accept, “What?”

Farhan asked her, “dance with me?”

The song changes and it was a soft romantic song like a ball dance. Everybody on the dance floor brought their partners to dance with them. John was upset because he wanted to dance with Sara, but Farhan asked her first. Sara looked at Aaron first, then to make him jealous she got up to dance with Farhan. Before she went to the dance floor, she told John to dance with Neha and she was happy because she got to dance with John. All of them were dancing and Farhan started talking to Sara again in her ears.

Farhan asked, “where did you learn to dance like this?”

“From somebody special?” Then she looked at Aaron, who was looking at her.

Farhan asked her again, “And who is that?” She was not concentrating on his questions, she thought that he caught her where she was looking.

“who?” now looking at him.

Farhan asked again, “I said who is that special person, who taught you how to dance?”

Sara smiling, “oh that. Hey, if you don't mind, can we go back to the table because I'm tired now?”

“Yeah, that's fine. Come.” They go back to the table while Neha and John still dancing, Neha knew why Sara stopped dancing because of Aaron. They sit there and Aaron comes to their table. Sara had her back, so she couldn't see Aaron, so she didn't see Aaron coming.

Aaron said, “hello?” Sara turns around to see him.

“oh, hi.” She was staring at him and saying anything when Farhan interrupted, “I think I've seen you before.”

Sara spoke immediately, “this is Aaron, remember he was at our place the other day.”

Aaron extended his hand, “hello, man?” Farhan shakes his hand, “hi.”

“Sara. Come with me?” Aaron takes Sara's hand and tries to walk away, but Sara stops there.

Sara told him, “I can't leave Farhan alone by himself here.”

“Great, then stay here” drops her hand. “I don't know when you will have time for me?”

Sara begging, “please, try to understand.”

“Try to understand, why are you doing this to me? Just tell me what you want? And I'll do anything”. Now tries to touch her face, but before he could do that, she puts his hands down and then looks at Farhan. He stops talking when she puts his hands down. He leaves without saying anything else.

Sara called after him, “wait, Aaron,” but he doesn't stop.

Farhan hesitated to say, “Is he your boyfriend?”

Sara smiled, “no, no. he's just a friend. He's been trying to talk to me, but I always get into other things.” The truth was that she was afraid to tell Farhan that he was her boyfriend because she's scared that he will tell her parents and then she won't see him anymore. She was also afraid that by doing this she's making Aaron angry at her and she might lose him if she keeps ignoring him like this or not giving him time. John and Neha come from behind.

John asked, “it was Aaron?”

Sara sadly, “yeah.”

Neha in excitement, “what did he say? Tell me.”

“Nothing,” said Sara and elbowed her not to get too excited because then Farhan will know it. “Thank God, you're here. Neha, why don't you and John stay here while I go and talk to Aaron because he's really upset with me.”

Neha responded, “that's fine.”

Sara asked, “Farhan, I hope you don't mind me going?”

Farhan smiled, “of course, not.”

“Thank you so much.” She walks where Aaron was standing with his friends. She goes and stands next to him. “Can I talk to you in private?”

Aaron asked, “why?” not looking at her.

“Please, look at me.” She puts hands on Aaron's face and turns his face to face her.

Aaron angry, “What?”

She whispers in his ear, “I love you.”

It made him smile and he was still looking in her eyes, “What do you think that I will forget about everything else?”

Sara apologized, “I'm really sorry, but Farhan is a visitor at our house and if I tell him about us, then he might tell my parents. I'm afraid to lose you.”

Aaron told her, “you know what it really hurt when you are mine and I don't get to see you when other people look at you like crazy.” Sara laughs, “Yeah, that's all you can do.” They were quiet and looking into each other's eyes. Aaron leans to kiss her, but she turns away.

Sara putting her hair behind her ear, “Your friends are looking at us.”

Aaron looked at his friends, “oh that. I'm sorry, I forgot to introduce you to my friends. This is my best buddy, Jack, he was there at the Fashion Show, I wanted you to meet him, but you couldn't.” Sara remembered why she couldn't meet him, then she realized that if he is his best friend, then he must have told him about whatever I did to him.

Sara hesitated and shyly, “hello?”

Jack extended his hand, “Hi” shake hands, “I was dying to meet you. Aaron talks about you all the time and I was bored just listening to him, so that's why I wanted to see who this girl was, who made him crazy.” Sara smiled.

Aaron introduced his other friend, “and this is Joe. We all went to the same high school and now go to the same university.”

Joe offered his hand as well, “Hi, there?”

Sara shook his hand, “hello? Nice to meet both of you.”

Jack said, “and we're glad to meet you.” Sara smiles and looks at Aaron, “I think I should go now” interrupts her before she could ask his number.

Aaron told her, “No, you can't go right now. You just got here, and you want to leave.”

Sara nervously, “I'm here for almost an hour and a half and my friends are tired now. They want to go home and me too.”

Aaron suggested, “how about they go home, and I'll drop you later.”

Sara sarcastically, “great” Aaron got happy, but he didn't know that she was teasing him, “then we won't even get to see each other at all.”

Aaron annoyed, “just go and don't ever come back.” His friends were looking at him and Jack spoke up, “Man, calm down. She got some problems, why don't you give her some time to sort things out.”

Sara appreciated, “thank you, Jack. Look your friend understands, but you don't.”

Aaron told her, “I'm your boyfriend not him and you'll do as I say.”

Sara replied, “you’re not my husband.”

Aaron got angrier, “you know what whenever I'm trying to come close to you, you always talk about leaving. I think I have a better idea, why don't you find somebody else, who is willing to do whatever you want. You know I never loved anybody so much as I love you, but you do this to me.” Talks to Jack, “See, Jack. I always told you not to fall in love and now I'm the one who is in love with a girl, who doesn't care about me.“

Sara told him, “I do care about you and I know how you feel. I'm sorry, but you have to understand what I'm going through because I have to lie to everybody to meet you and you don't have to that. So, think about me what I'm going through.”

Aaron grabbed her from the arm, “then leave everybody and come with me.”

Sara pulled her arm, “Are you out of your mind?”

Aaron puts his hands on his face, “I love you and I want you to be with me all the time. I don't know how to explain you, but the thing is that I'm dying without you.” then he says it out loud, but it was too noisy that only close people understood what he said, “I'm dying without you. I want you to be mine forever.”

Sara puts his hands down, “I am dying too, but I love my parents as well. That's the reason, why I wasn't going to tell you that I love you because I knew that it would be very difficult for me to handle my family and our relationship at the same time.”

Aaron said, “but now it's time that you chose one, your family or me?”

Sara told him, “Do you even realize what are you saying?” Talking to Jack now, “Jack, please make your friend understand. I think he's drunk and he doesn't know what he's talking about.” She tries to leave from there, but Aaron grabs her hand and pulls her toward him. He pulls her next to his body and kisses her on the lips. Sara tries to pull herself but couldn't because he held her lips and her body so tight that she couldn't release herself. His hands were on her face hold it like a cup because he didn't want to let her go. Finally, Aaron stops kissing her and pushes her away.

“You want to leave? Then just go.” Sara's tears come down from her eyes and Aaron wipes her tears, “don't cry because I know you don't love me.”

Sara wipes her tears, “I do love you, please. Just give me a chance to prove it, please. How about if you come to my house and I'll meet you there? I promise that I will meet you and stay longer.”

Aaron agreed, “OK, this is your last chance.”

Sara excitedly, “thanks.” He comes closer and leans to kiss her, but she walks away.

Aaron asked, “Hey, wait. There is something else I want to know.”

Sara curious, “what is it?”

Aaron walks away from his friends where Sara was standing. “whenever I want to kiss you, you always turn away or walk away from me. Why?”

Sara told him, “my friends are there, and what if they see me kiss you?

Aaron pointed at the place, “I just kissed you there.”

Sara nervously, “I hope they didn't see it.”

“Well, I'll make them see it now.” He grabs her from the waist, and she pushes him, “stay in your limit, Mr.” She laughs and runs away. She was at the table where everybody else was sitting. “Hey, come on. Let's go home.”

Farhan teasing her, “finally, I thought you were gonna stay here all night.”

Sara apologized, “I'm really sorry, but Aaron is a little bit difficult to handle. We should go now before we get late.”

John said, “yeah and I'm hungry too. Do you guys wanna go eat somewhere because it's only 11:30 right now?”

Farhan agreed, “yeah, I'm hungry too.” They walk to the door and Sara holds Neha's hand behind.

Neha asked, “what?”

Sara wanted to know they saw them kissing, “I wanted to know if you guys saw me and Aaron...?”

Neha was still confused, “what?”

Sara finally said the words, “kissing me?”

Neha told her, “no, we were talking. You know what Farhan's a really nice guy and John likes him too.”

Sara curiously said, “oh really?”

Neha told her, “yeah. You don't know, when you were there talking to Aaron, they were talking about the games they like and other stupid stuff.”

John repeated, “Come on, I'm hungry.”

Neha waved at him, “Yeah, we're coming.”

Sara told her, “Hey, why don't you go outside with them and I'll come in a minute?

“Okay, as you wish.” Sara goes to Aaron and he was there chatting with his friends. He sees her coming toward him. So, he stands and goes to her.

Sara asked, “Hey, I forgot to ask your number?”

Aaron teasing her and smiling, “Oh, you came back for that. I thought you came back for me.”

Sara smiled, “Shut up. Just give me your number and I'll text you, so you won't feel lonely without me. I'll be with you all the time.”

Aaron came closer, “Oh really?”

Sara said, “Yeah. Come on, now.” He gives her number, and she gives him a missed call. She goes closer to him and kisses him on the cheeks, but he doesn't like it.

Aaron told her, “now, it's your turn to kiss me on the right spot. Nobody's here, now. What's your excuse now.” That's right, she didn't have any excuse. So, she leans up and kisses him on his lips. She kisses him like touching each other’s lips and tries to run, but he stops her. “No, not like this.”

“What if somebody comes back?” She starts walking backward and Aaron toward her, “What if Farhan comes back?”

Aaron said, “So, what?”

Sara still walking backward, “What if John comes?”

Aaron responded, “So, what?” There was a wall behind her, and she couldn't go any further back, and Aaron was close to her.

Sara almost whispering, “What if Neha...”

Before she could complete it, he leans down to kiss her, and there they were kissing each other. She kissed him back and her hands were around his neck while his hands were on her waist pulling against his body. She was standing on her toes because Aaron was a little taller than her. She could hear his heartbeat and she loved it. He kept pulling her closer to his body when they were already so close to each other. Finally, somebody came and started calling Sara, but She couldn't understand who it was because she was so lost in Aaron that she couldn't even think about anything else. So, somebody pulled her from the arm and moved away from Aaron. It was Neha.

Neha told her, “they're going crazy outside and I can't handle them anymore. Come, let's go.” She grabs her hand and tries to walk outside. Sara was still looking at Aaron and he looked happy to her. He was smiling and brushed his hand on his head. They were at the door by then.

Aaron said from behind, “Hey, listen. My love. I'll miss you and remember your promise. I love you.” Sara blows a kiss to him and Neha takes her outside. John was inside the car waiting for them. They sit in the car and John drives away.

Sara told everyone, “I'm really sorry. I thought I lost my phone, and I was just looking for it.”

Farhan took out the phone, “you gave it to me, and your mom called.”

Sara asked, “what did she say?”

Farhan said, “well, she said to come back home, and she'll have dinner for us at”, he was pressing hard when he said home. Sara didn't say anything not even sorry because she was so happy that nothing else mattered at that time. They reached home after an hour and her mother had dinner ready for them. John and Neha ate dinner and went to their house. Farhan was very tired, so he went to sleep.
