Olivia’s POV

“We can drop him now. Gees Jonas; go on a diet, you weigh a ton” Toby laughs. Jonas lifts his head and licks up my face. “Eww; Jessi was right, you need to brush your teeth.”

Jessica walks out of the common room “Jonas wants to know if we are going to be nominated for an oscar?” Alex shifts back; “we should. I actually thought; I was dead, by the way you guys reacted” he chuckles.

“Do you think he bought it?” Tim asks coming up behind us. “You saw him too?” I said back to Tim. “I think we all did; wasn’t hard to see he was watching the fight unfold from the front of the bunker” Seth says coming up the stairs with us.

“I’d be careful Liv; he was watching you closely. He saw you electrocute the black bear coming at you” Elijah comments; Toby growls “I will rip his heart out, if he even goes near Olivia.” “I’m not worried; I have my big, strong Alpha to take care of me” I mock, pinching Toby’s cheek.

“What now for you two?” Seth asks Alex and Jessica. “We are going home for a few weeks; can’t show our face around here” Jessica informs us. “We will be leaving shortly; Gerry is teleporting us back in an hour. Just need to say our goodbyes and I need to get my hair products” Alex adds, giving Toby a wink. “You will be holding down the fort then Big Brother?” Tim smiles at Toby.

Toby loves it when him and Timothy, call one another Big Bro and Lil’ Bro. “Sure am; I will be calling Alex daily to keep him informed.”

“I need a shower first; can’t go home looking like this. Mum would freak” Alex laughs; a mischievous look beams in his eyes. “Maybe I could.” “Don’t even think about it! You will be a dead wolf” Jessica scolds him and the four of us enter the living room through their room. Alex and Jess head towards the bathroom.

“I guess we will have to wait our turn to use the amenities?” I say to Toby, he chuckles; “shit; I forget to tell him I used his shampoo; it does give your hair extra body.” He answers; fluffing out his hair.

Alex’s POV

That asshole owes me a new bottle of shampoo. I barely had enough to wash the blood out of my hair. **“It was touching how they reacted to us being dead”** Jonas says to me. **“Gives us an insight to how they will react if the scenario was real”** I smirk.

**“Real or not; I almost blew our cover by crying, it was so touching”** he chuckles, **“They will probably be worse; inconsolable.”**

“Are you and Jessi ready?” Gerard asks me as we head into the common room. They’ve moved everything out of the way for him to conjure the porthole to send us back. I look at Jessi, “I spoke with Nathanial; he is going to act drunk over the next few days; trying to fight with everyone. Then he will make his way to the bar, so we are right to go” she tells us.

Gerry mutters a few words and the porthole appears from thin air. “Shall we?” offering my hand to Jessica; “Stay safe” she says, giving Gerry a hug. She takes my free hand and we walk through the porthole with our luggage.

“I will never get used to that” she squeals. “It’s very surreal, isn’t it?” I answer her as we step out in front of the mall.

“I suppose our first stop is go get our little wolf?” She looks at me. I smile at her and open a mind link to Mum *“We’ll be by to pick up Laurie shortly” “Alex; what are you doing back so soon?”* “Did you not call her to tell her what was happening?” Jessica asks me “Nope; I guess no one else did either” I laugh.

*“It’s a long story; it will be best for me to tell it when we get Laurence”* I tell her heading into the pack house; the smell of food is wafting out of the dining room. Jessica mind links Simone to bring some food up to our room and we head for the elevator.

“I guess, I am a bit soft when it comes to our luxuries. I’ve missed the elevators” I say to her. She rolls her eyes at me as we step in; heading to the top floor.

“What are you going to tell Mum?” She asks me, “the truth; I’m dead and you’ve been taken” I laugh; stepping out of the elevator. We drop our bags off in our room and walk up to mum’s room. “Are you going to tell her about Richard and the anxiety thing?” she continues; “we will have to; it explains why I’m dead and you’ve been taken.” “You’re going to relish in those two facts, aren’t you?”

I smirk at her; **“she knows you too well”** Jonas laughs at me.

I knock on mum’s door; “Come” she calls out. “There’s my little wolf” Jessi smiles heading to Laurence in his walker. He beams a toothless smile at Jessica and myself. “What are you both doing back here?” Mum demands. “I’m dead and she’s been taken for interrogation” I say to her.

“I beg your pardon?” Mum says; narrowing her eyes at me. “Alex; give your mother a break” Jessica scorns. “Never” I reply.

“I’ll tell you Mum; when we first got to Fungua territory; everyone was acting very anxious, not the normal; not knowing what was about to happen anxiety. This was over the top anxiety; Alex was pissed off with everything and Toby was always checking over his shoulder. All the leaders were the same. Becky’s mate, Coby confirmed our suspicion of a warlock in the area and we put two and two together. He placed a spell to make everyone anxious in the territory” Jessi tells her.

“I’m sorry; Becky’s got a mate?” Mum beams at us. Jess laughed; “yes, he is one of Leader Bronson’s guards. He stalked her all the way to her grandmother’s house.”

“Once we worked out there was a spell around the territory; Toby, Tim, Seth and myself asked Gerry to place a counter spell around the safehouse. And we met with the rest of the leaders to discuss what to do about it. We figured; we needed to get our plans started sooner than we hoped, since the rest of the warriors and enforcers weren’t getting there until tomorrow. Nathanial and Adrian told us what they and Bronson were planning; so, they can get the sample of the Lace” I continued.

“It was a fight with a nearby Clan; at first, I was just going to be taken; but as the meeting came to an end; we were chatting among ourselves and a suggestion came up it would be a good idea for Alex to die. We figured we will have an audience and it would make the fight more believable; since there were no other casualties” Jessi finished.

“That is why we are here; can’t have a dead person or someone who was taken wondering around the place. Gerry teleported us back here” I tell her.

“I see; and you think this warlock was watching?” “We know he was; he was standing outside the bunkers. The smirk on his face told us everything we needed to know. As Toby, Nathanial, Adrian and Christian was carrying Jonas back into the safehouse covered in blood; it was sinister. I watched him; the whole way. He is definitely involved with the drugs” I explain.

“You will need to fill in Alister, Kim, Glenn and Jeremy what’s happened” she says to us. “I was planning to before they leave in the morning” I tell her.

She smiles and looks at Jessica; “Tell me more about this, Coby?” Jessica laughs and starts to explain what happened on their way to Nonna Francesca’s house. I pick up Laurence out of his walker “I’m going to leave you two ladies, to gossip” I smile and walk out the door with my son.
