Chapter 8

As Tanya got home, her siblings Lila and Lily were still asleep just the same way before she left.

She tiptoed to her room, resting herself on her bed very well.

"I'll show Josie

. I'll show Josie just what I can do, she'll know why I'm called Tanya Grayson."

Fierce determination flashed through her voice, her mind all focused on succeeding without thinking of possible failures.

Satisfied with what she had said, she switched off the side lamp and then closed her eyes

, drifting off to sleep.

*NEXT DAY*

The sun streamed into the room, making Tanya to flutter her eyes open.

She sat up on her bed itching her sleepy eyes when Lila and Lily barged in, all dressed up for school.

"Good morning sis." Lila greeted.

"Morning Tanya." Lily said.

"Why don't you just call her sis too?" Lila asked Lily who frowned.

"It's my mouth. I can call her whatever I want!" Lily said.

"But you should follow my footsteps. I called her sis so should you, I'm older than you remember ?" Lila said, folding her arms.

"With ten minutes." Lily rolled her eyes.

"Oh my gosh." Tanya mumbled under her breath, she didn't want them to start quarrelling soon.

"You two, don't start this morning. Even a good morning from you won't come without arguments" Tanya rolled her eyes.

"We're sorry sis." They both chorused, before glaring at eachother.

"What's today?" Tanya asked ignoring their apology.

"Friday. Today's a Friday." Lily replied and Tanya nodded.

"Oh, thought it was weekend. Anyway you two should get going now, don't be late for school." Tanya said, crossing her legs on her bed.

"Ummm...sis we kinda need transport fare and we wanted to remind you about the fees." Lila said, looking down.

"Oh. The fees. I'll transfer it later in the day, and..." She searched her purse which was on the table, "Take this for the transport fare."

Lily collected, the money immediately, "Thanks sis."

"Hey, give me the money!" Lila said.

"And why should I? You always take the money everyday. Atleast let me have it today." Lily said, and folded her arm, not in the slightest way ready to release the money.

"You know I'm the one who hails the taxi, so give me the money!"

"Oh, okay. Then I'll hail the cab today." Lily said, as she ran out of the room.

Lila groaned running after her.

Tanya rolled her eyes at her siblings who were gone already before, rubbing her hands against her temples, as she stood up making her way to the bathroom. It was a Friday, so she was free, as it wasn't a must to go to the hideout on Friday's or weekends.

Lila and Lily had finally arrived at school, after the countless arguing about who was going to hail a cab.

They held eachother's hands as they made their way to class, no matter how much they argued, it was obvious they still loved eachother.

Soon screams echoed behind them, and Lila rolled her eyes at Lily who had turned back.

"Let me guess. It's those bi*ches." Lila said, and Lily nodded.

Lila then tightened her grip on Lily's hands. "You're not going to join the crowd, in their madness."

"Of course, i didn't even plan on going, their meanies anyways." Lily said, facing her front.

"Good." Lila said, satisfied that she hadn't argue with her.

As they both made their way through the hallways, they soon bumped into Tyler, Lily's crush.

"Oh, no, no." She muttered under her breath not wanting to make eyes contact, until she felt a soft grip on her hands.

"Hey cutie pie." Tyler's voice said to her and her eyes widened, as she looked up.

"Me?"

Lila gave a sly grin, as she let go of Lily's hands, she knew it was Lily's crush.

"Meet me in class Lily, I'm gone." Lila said, before walking away.

Lily gulped. 'Oh gosh. Lila! Why did you have to leave me?' She said inwardly.

"So...I was wondering if we could maybe hangout?" Tyler smiled at her.

"Who? Me? Hangout with you?" Lily asked in surprise.

"Of course. It's not bad hanging out with a cutie pie like you, is it?" Tyler told her, and her faced turned red.

"Stop calling me that." She whispered shyly and Tyler smiled.

"Why? Because it's gonna make you blush so hard?" Tyler asked, and she palmed herself.

Lucia, Jodie and Maeve were making their way down the hallway when they sighted Tyler and Lila.

"What??!" Lucia shouted, pausing for a moment, "What are they doing together ?"

Maeve studied the two, before speaking, "He looks like he's trying to ask her out."

"That's not possible. He's Lucia's." Jodie said, glancing at Lucia who was already boiling over.

At that moment she rushed towards Lily seeing Tyler was done.

"You!" She said, as she began pulling her hair. That was what she always did, pull people's hair.

Lily gasped as she was kicked to the ground, and then began receiving kicks and punches from Lucia.

"How dare you!, how dare you talk to Tyler."

She kept asking kicking and hitting Lily.

Students began gathering in the hallway.
