Chapter 7

"Ahhhh!!!" Marco yelled as the hundredth whip landed on his bare back.

Master, as he was popularly referred to, glared at him fiercely, looking so angry but yet unbothered about the whips.

"You fool!! You useless animal. Just a simple mission, I gave you; To break into the Bloody-Fist clan and wipe them out, but you failed me. This is the third time and yet we've not succeeded!! I just feel like ripping off your head from your body, but I won't!." Master's voice was filled with so much anger, "What happened this time?"

Marco who was still bleeding from various part of his body, forced himself to speak.

"Mas...ter, they, they...I don't know how but...fire came from nowhere and...lashed out on all of us, burning most of us to...death." No matter how hard he tried not to stutter, he just couldn't.

"Nonesense!!" Master slammed his hands on the table, "How do you mean a fire from nowhere? They must have planned to launch it out on you guys. I don't know, but I hate that guy so much, I wanna know his fvcking secrets, his clan is just so strong. Why? Why? Why? I don't even know why Grayson fvcking let me to do this alone!"

Master, voice was filled with so much hatred as she spoke about the bloody fists clan.

"Release him, and let him clean himself up." Master said, before walking out of the torture room, referring to Marco.

The guards nodded, and began doing as instructed.

El, the one who's boyfriend Nail was killed, sat lonely in her room, her eyes looking red and puffy. A testament to her non-stop cries.

She was even oblivious to the attack that had taken place, and she was a mobster.

A male mobster known as Crusher walked into her room and frowned on seeing her still crying.

"You won't get over his death so easily, will you?" Crusher asked, as he sat beside her on the bed.

"Why did he have to leave?!" She cried the more.

Crusher sighed before speaking, "The clan was attacked about an hour ago." He said.

"Really? Why didn't you tell me, I would have gladly allowed myself to be killed."

"No! No way! Don't fvcking say such things! You can't die!" Crusher suddenly yelled at her and she flinched.

Realising his outburst, he gulped, "I'm sorry. I'll just leave."

El said nothing as she watched him walk out of the room.

Another female mobster referred to as, Cat, who was practically obsessed with Crusher also happens to be coming at that direction and saw him coming out of El's room.

"Crusher? What did you go to do in El's room?" She asked immediately blocking his path.

"And how is that suppose to be your business?"

"It's my business Crusher, you know how much I love you!" Cat said, passionately.

"Fvck your love Cat! I don't feel a thing for you. So get out of my way!" He pushed her away, roughly before he began walking.

"You better not have anything to do with El, else she'll regret it!" She called after him but got ignored.

She flipped her hair, before turning around and walking away.

Tanya walled into the hideout, looking a bit disheveled.

Daniel ran to her immediately, checking every part of her body.

"Are you hurt? Are you okay?" He asked.

Tanya nodded, "I'm fine." She replied making her way towards a seat.

"You made us real worried Tanya." Daniel said, he felt a sudden peace knowing Tanya was alright.

Laura bit her lips at the too much care Daniel showed Tanya.

"Hey Tanya. How did you escape?" She asked Tanya, who suddenly paused for a moment her mind trailing to the kiss.

"I don't know, I just escaped." Tanya said, with a shrug and Laura nodded.

Daniel smiled, letting out a grin as he ruffled her hair.

"That's my little warrior." He said.

Tanya frowned, pushing his hands away. "Stop I don't like that. I'm not a child."

"Oh. Sorry." Daniel said, withdrawing his hands from her head.

"Ehem!" Snake cleared his throat, "How was the mission?"

"Sorry boss, but we didn't succeed. I told you we couldn't do it, the clan is just to powerful and we are just..."

Daniel couldn't finish when Snake turned around walking away, making Daniel to stop on his words.

"We tried out best yunno." Laura said.

"Of course we did!" Daniel said, and then frowned when he saw Josie, one of the members approaching them. This only meant one thing, trouble. She never got along with Tanya so much.

"Hey Dan." She said, pecking his cheeks.

"Haven't I warned you not to always do that?" He groaned.

"Whatever baby boo." She said with a smirk before turning to Tanya and Laura.

"Hey girls," she said, her voice with a hint of mockery.

"What do you want Josie?" Tanya asked in between gritted teeth.

"Don't be so harsh, Tanya, I'm just here for some fun and oh yeah, to tell you how pathetic you looked in when you walked in, and then Daniel coming running to you." Josie rolled her eyes.

"Josie for one last time, what do you want?"

"I just wanted to tell you how much of a looser, you and your little friends are. I thought you were always scaling through every mission, what changed today sweetie pie?" Josie laughed.

Tanya frowned, folding her arms into a fist.

Josie smirked, clearly enjoying the tension she was creating. "I mean, seriously, you guys couldn't even get past the Bloody-Fist Clan's security. What a joke."

Tanya's eyes narrowed, her fists clenched at her sides. "We went through them. We just had unexpected complications, okay? It doesn't mean we're not capable."

Josie raised an eyebrow.

"Complications? Ha! You're just not good enough."

Daniel then spoke up, his eyes blazing with anger. "That's enough, Josie. Back off."

But Josie just laughed. "Or what? You'll defend your precious Tanya? Please, Daniel, you're not even in her league."

Tanya's eyes flashed with anger. "You think I really can't do it? It was only because I wasn't really prepared today."

Josie sneered. "Sure, sure, blame it on not being prepared. But I know the truth. You're just not good enough."

Tanya's face set in a determined expression. "I'll show you what I'm capable of. Let's place a bet."

Josie's eyes lit up with excitement. "Oh, I love a good bet. What did you have in mind?"

"I'll go back to the Bloody-Fist Clan, alone, and steal something valuable. If I succeed, you give me 100,000 pesos."

Josie's grin grew wider. "And if you fail?"

Tanya's eyes locked onto Josie's. "If I fail, I'll give you 50,000 pesos."

Daniel stepped forward, his eyes wide with alarm. "Tanya, no! You can't do this!"

But Tanya just shook her head. "I've made up my mind, Daniel. I'm doing this."

Josie clapped her hands together. "Excellent! I'll give you the details of the bet. You have 48 hours to steal something valuable from the Bloody-Fist Clan. If you succeed, I'll give you the 100,000 pesos."

Tanya nodded, a fierce determination burning within her. "I'll do it."

Daniel's face fell, his eyes filled with worry. "Tanya, please reconsider..."

Josie smirked, before walking away, as if her mission had been completed.

"I'm leaving for home." Tanya said, as she began walking away.

"Are you not going to try to charge her mind, Laura?" Daniel asked, noticing Laura's unusual quietness.

"Her mind is made up already." Her voice carried a hint of finality.

"But you can still..."

"I'm sorry Daniel, if you care so much talk to her yourself. I'm going home." Laura said, suppressing her anger while cutting him off, as she walked out of the hideout.

Daniel ran his hands

through his hair in frustration.
